My mum has lived at the home for a few years now and is very happy. The staff at the home are all lovely and go way beyond what I expected of a home. The experience I have had at the home has all been excellent.
Well done to all the staff.
My brother also seems relaxed nad settled.
We celebrated my mam's 100th birthday with family and friends, staff and residents. We had an amazing time. Food and drinks supplied were fantastic, also the entertainer for the afternoon. Thank you to all the carers and staff for making it all possible.
Living here has been very helpful and have enjoyed meeting so many different people. All the staff are so helpful and very pleasant. My thanks to you all.
Good. Enjoy tea and coffee with Mam. Very enjoyable place to be, something to do all the time. Pleasant and helpful staff. Like one big happy family, easy to get on with and helpful.
She is very happy ad as she loves dancing and has the best time with the entertainment at the home.
The staff are all very kind in every department.
The cakes at the reception are delicious.
It's an all-round lovely place.
The carers and cleaners are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. I enjoy all activities and try to join in everything Llys is like a home from home.
Llys-y-Tywysog is a very nice nursing home. Food is exceptional. There are plenty of activities going on every day. The residents get to go out and about, especially when the weather is good. My friend has settled in, and all the staff and residents have made her feel at home.
Our experiences are always very positive. She is very well taken care of. The level of care and patience is outstanding. Spotlessly clean in every area. All members of the team are warm, kind and very welcoming, feel like an extension of our family. Activities are great fun and always very well organised. One lady is awesome, we love her, and so does our relative. We are really thankful that she has a place here, and would like to thank the manager and the team for all they do and all the care they show whilst doing it.
Wonderful staff, who treat the residents with respect and care. Activities for all members to engage each other. Good food, and plenty of choice and variety. Kept clean and tidy every day when visited. Garden needs some attention, but only just leaving the winter months - as to be expected.
Lovely attentive care assistants and good food. Would highly recommend.
My husband had a respite stay at Barchester Llys-y-Tywysog recently and nothing was too much trouble for all staff. Meals were prepared for him and taken to his room as he prefers to have it there, and staff were accommodating to anything. The welcome at Llys was warm and so friendly. I would definitely be happy to leave him again.
My grandfather stayed for respite. He really enjoyed his stay. The staff were fantastic and the food was lovely.
Lovely welcome from staff, excellent facilities. Always nice to attend a nursing home that has welcoming staff and nice facilities. Residents all seem happy in the home. Staff very attentive to residents.
My mother was staying with you for respite care over two weeks in November 2023. She was a little more than unsure of going prior to arrival but due to the reception and warmth of care she received from all the staff at Llys-y-Tywysog and the standards in all areas, she left grieving at the fact she was and has utterly missed you all since and requested to return. Thank you so much for it all!
My aunt celebrated her birthday on 17th November with residents and on her actual birthday on 18th November with her family in the home. The staff have been excellent, worked so hard with good humour. The food provided was of a very good standard, carried and beautifully presented. You made her 100th birthday such a memorable one.
My sister and brother-in-law have been living here for the past 5 months and I couldn't praise this care home enough. Staff are very caring and any problems can be discussed, no problems. The staff are amazing from the manager to all nursing and care staff. It has been the best decision for both of them and they are very happy living here which gives the rest of the family peace of mind.
The care provided by the staff has been excellent, displaying sympathy and understanding of my wife's condition. Meals and snacks are plentiful and tasty, first-rate cuisine. We highly recommend this home.
My grandparents came here in June and within 5 months of being here, they've really changed and got a lot fitter. It feels like a 5-star hotel, all the staff are amazing and caring to the residents.
