Mum has been staying at Peniel Green Care Home since June and has settled in very well, she is putting on weight she lost prior to an operation. This is mainly due to the marvellous care she has received from the staff who have been very caring and kind, nothing has been too much trouble. She is very
happy here and they have made a difficult time much easier.

I am very happy at this care home. The staff are wonderful, and nothing is too much trouble for them. I really enjoy the food here, always hot and tasty. Also, sandwiches and pastries are delicious. My relevant options refer to pre-Covid in regards to answers marked, as I've not been permitted indoors since last year. The visiting facility is very clean and great for outdoor visits. The staff are always friendly and helpful and notify me whenever my dad requires anything or about anything regarding
his health and well being. Always a pleasure to contact them. My dad is happy, but he can't wait for normality and an end to the virus.

In a time of lockdown where relatives are unable to visit their parents, it was a lovely surprise for our family to be sent a card by mum, who has dementia, saying she was doing ok and happy. When I’m sure the staff there are overworked they took the time to think about their resident's families. Outstanding.

There has been a big improvement in the decor of the main areas but the bedrooms need a revamp. It still desperately needs a medical room where residents can be seen by a doctor or nurse in private and wounds can be treated in a sterile environment. There is no such facility here, as there should be,
as Peniel Green is providing nursing care. Staff are caring, kind and go out of their way to please. The garden cannot be used by residents due to lack of security fencing; this is a shame.
