Have visited Plas Cwm Carw Care Home on a regular basis and have always found the welcome, care and compassion of staff to both visitors and residents alike to be first class, especially the activities organiser for the way in which she makes the home a wonderful place to be (top marks). She works tirelessly to ensure the residents have a "home from home" experience.

My grandmother has been a resident at this care home for just over a year. I have to say that the staff have been amazing in all aspects of my nan's care. They are all caring, loving and not just supportive to my nan's needs, but us as a family.

My first visit to see the home, I was greeted by a very knowledgable and friendly manager plus admin staff. I later found out she had only been employed for 10 weeks. Fabulous from start to present.

The staff at Plas Cwm Carw are outstanding. The care, the kindness, consideration and understanding that they give to the residents and their families is wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are always there to listen and help with anything. I cannot thank them enough for everything that they did for my grandfather.

As it is the first month my husband has been in this home, I have only had one month to get to know everything but all the care staff have shown my husband kindness and care because it has been a difficult time for my husband and myself. They have been really caring. I hope it continues in the same way.

I am very happy with this care home.
My mother has been treated very well.
I am always kept updated if any problems occur. The activities are excellent. My mother is always clean and dressed well. The food is very good and plenty of it all day.
The staff are very loving and helpful.

She has a lovely room bright and airy. There is always a cleaner there keeping it clean.

Staff are fab. Mum was unsettled at first, by week three she was fine.
We are always made welcome and can come and go as we please.

It is a busy home and the staff cope brilliantly.

My mother has quite complex needs but these have been well met by professional and caring staff at all levels - management, nursing, caring, support and administrative. As a family, we have been very pleased and reassured that the care she's received has been of such high quality.

Thank you.

The most amazing place, I have never seen anything like it. More like a high-class, 5-star hotel. The staff are true angels on earth. It is so welcoming and homely, clean and comfortable, peace of mind for any relative and service user.

Absolute heaven on earth. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Having visited eighteen homes (which I, as an only child putting my mother into care, found very distressing) I was pleasantly surprised to find the warmth and homely feeling at Plas Cwm Care Home, drawing me in.

I found the staff in charge to be extremely helpful and caring. Since my mother has arrived, she has settled in quite well. Knowing she is safe, warm and well fed is a great bonus.

The staff are excellent. I can call any time of day. Food is of a good standard. Care is excellent. A nice coffee shop type area in the foyer, a place where I can bring my mother for a chat. My mother is resident downstairs and my father is in nursing part upstairs and both can see each other.

I cannot thank the staff for the care, love, kindness and dignity they gave to my Mum. Mum was always cared for by the staff like she was their own Mum, sometimes during challenging times. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a home for their parent.

My mother was admitted to PCC in February 2017. Unfortunately, her health deteriorated fairly quickly. While she was able she thoroughly enjoyed participating in the many well organised activities that took place. We can only praise the care and attention she received from the manager and her dedicated team of carers. Everything possible was done to address health issues as they arose, regretfully my mother eventually required end of life care. We especially appreciate the dignity and respect that was shown to her and us as a family during her final days.

My father spent the last few years at Plas Cwm Carw; up until he died over Christmas. I have always been happy with the care and kindness my father received there. He always looked well fed (he loved the food!), clean, occupied and happy. They made his last birthday special and were always welcoming to me when I visited. But it is the end-of-life care that I feel so grateful for. The nursing and caring staff (and their GP) were just wonderful; with dad, yes, but also with family members. We could not have wished for more. I would have no hesitation in recommending Plas Cwm Carw to anyone with the difficult job of looking for care for a loved one. To the manager and all staff at Plas Cwm Carw - your home is a credit to you.

My mother has been a resident in Plas Cwm Carw since November 2012. I have peace of mind that she is well cared for and treated with consideration and kindness. All staff I have contact with are approachable and helpful from the manager, carers and administrator - they are all lovely.

I would recommend this home to anyone who was considering placing their relative here to live.

I cannot express the gratitude that me and my family feel for the care provided by this home to my grandmother.

She received the best quality of person-centred care, the palliative care provided was excellent.
