Situated in the heart of Rosyth, Hilton Court is a 32 bed home with has good links by road and rail to all major towns and cities in the central belt.

The home has a team of experienced registered nurses and support workers who provide personalised, recovery focused support to individuals experiencing mental health difficulties and their associated conditions. Hilton Court also has access to various healthcare professionals, including GPs, Psychiatry/Psychology, Specialist Nursing Services, Talking Therapies and Community Mental Health Teams.

Hilton Court offers high quality accommodation where each resident has their own bedroom with ensuite facilities. There are several communal areas for residents to relax, socialise and dine in, including dedicated activities areas. The home also has private courtyard areas which are safe, secure and accessible, offering residents an area to sit and relax or enjoy a BBQ.

While the home offers long terms placements, as part of their rehab focus, it also has three self-contained apartments. These are designed to enable residents to develop their life skills with a view to them moving on to their own community-based accommodation.

Hilton Court offers residents a varied programme of activities that can be tailored to suit individual needs. Residents are supported and encouraged to socialise and engage in life at the home as well as in the local community.

Food is prepared by a team of professional chefs to ensure it is always nutritious, varied, and responsive to dietary requirements. The home also has a number of kitchenettes where the team work with residents to develop their cooking skills.

The team follow rigorous infection control procedures in line with the latest public health guidance to protect the safety of residents, their loved ones and the team.

This is a very good place to live. Excellent staff and facilities. Excellent medical and psychiatric services. The staff go out of their way like one of the senior carers. They support and encourage me and others to make the most of our days.

I have enjoyed and completed several college courses with help from staff and I am progressing to move into a flat with outside support. I get on with most staff within the unit. I have my own flat within the home and keep it maintained.

My daughter has been a resident in Hilton Court Care Home for several years. After a very troubled life, she has been extremely well cared for in the care home where she has been kept safe and in comfortable caring conditions. During the current pandemic, I have received a weekly telephone call, updating
me on the situation within the home and on how my daughter is coping with the lockdown restrictions. I cannot fault Hilton Court in any way, they provide a wonderful service.

My younger brother has been living at Hilton Court for around ten years now, Hilton Court is his home. With no close family member living nearby, the staff of Hilton Court have become like family to him. I live in Australia and other siblings live more than three hours drive away from Rosyth, so my
brother does not have frequent family visitors and this is something we are all sad about.
My brother always seems content at Hilton Court and feels that the staff are his friends. I feel very much that they know my brother and his needs better than I do, and I am very grateful that he has such kind carers in his life.
I have found the staff at Hilton Court easy to communicate with, and professional. There have been some difficult times, when my brother has been unsettled and at times disruptive. We have been able to all pull together to have his needs met.
Last thought; I would love there to be a huge garden for my brother and the other residents to spend outdoor time in.

I have always found that the staff at Hilton Court genuinely care for the residents, they take the time to get to know each resident and therefore how to work with them. It feels like a family. I have been very reassured and relieved in how well they have managed this Coronavirus and in keeping the
residents and staff safe.

The care and support given at Hilton Court is of an exceptionally high standard and sometimes it is phenomenal, it comes from the heart. I am continually impressed by the patience, understanding and professionalism of those who work there, whatever their role. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming
and the health and well-being of residents is the primary concern. I would certainly recommend Hilton Court to others.

I find the staff and facilities available of an extremely high standard. Staff are always available to discuss any enquiries I have. They also keep me informed of any changes to be made. They also support me if I am upset after any difficult visits. I would have no problem recommending Hilton Court

Job Title: Care Home Manager

I am passionate about my job and care deeply about both the team that I work with and the residents and families who let me be a part of their lives.


I aim to provide the best care for residents at Hilton Court and we go above and beyond to ensure that they have a happy and dignified stay at our home.


I have significant experience in the nursing sector, having qualified over 18 years ago and specialised in the care of sick children, the mental health sector and elderly care. It is this extensive knowledge and skill that I bring to my role as manager at Hilton Court.


We provide an array of activities to encourage our residents to stay active and look after their physical and mental well-being. This includes our very popular tai chi and yoga classes, which encourage physical activity and mindfulness.


Our home is subdivided into smaller domestic-style units that create a warmer, more intimate living experience for our residents. The courtyard also offers a quiet and enclosed space to enjoy some relaxation.


I want to ensure residents have fulfilled lives during their time at Hilton Court; their well-being is my top priority. I aim to bring fun and laughter, as well as security to the lives of those living with us.


We endeavour to empower residents to feel confident and independent and to support individuals to reach their own personal goals and wishes.
