Moss Park Care Home

The staff are very nice.

All the kind staff, carers, cleaners and cooks are kind to the residents and stop to speak to them in time allowed. I'm sure they would always welcome another pair of hands to spend a bit of extra time. The carers are patient and reassuring with the resident's personal care even when they are very busy and try to have a bit of fun if the residents are in the mood. The food is excellent.

My mother-in-law was in a care home and she was not looked after well, so I was worried about going into one. But here the staff have treated me with great respect and dignity. They are kind and caring towards me and I am happy here.

I am very happy with the care my wife gets in Moss Park. I don't think it could be improved.

Moss Park is an outstanding care facility. All of the staff are highly committed and provide high-quality person-centred care. The staff are very knowledgeable and have excellent management support. Dad has been well looked after and included in a range of activities which stimulate him mentally. His life interests are recognised and frequently referred to which reinforces his sense of identity. The family appreciate the caring environment in Moss Park Care Home and the eases of access to communications. We are kept well-informed on any issues relating to our dad.

My mother spent a year in Moss Park and their care and commitment to her were quite exceptional. Her many health issues were dealt with extremely well and she was looked after with the greatest of care and consideration. The staff went well out of their way to provide her favourite foods and treats and to help her with getting some new clothes and in fact, anything that she requested was fulfilled on with love and kindness. Remarkable and wonderful staff.

The staff at Moss Park Care Home are very friendly to my father. They help him very much. I feel very happy they are looking after him so much.

The residents are stimulated through numerous activities. Families too are supported when things can get emotionally difficult. A caring care home.

My partner has MS. She is in bed all the time and is totally reliant on staff to do everything for her. The staff when working with her talk to her all the time and have a routine in place to help stimulate her. The staff always keep me up to date with her care and call me if there are any changes in her condition. Both myself and our son are very pleased with the care and help she gets at the home.

All in all, I cannot praise Moss Park enough.

I have called at Moss Park once a month for a number of years now. I have a talk with some of the residents and this is a regular thing. During that time a relation of mine spent the last few months of her life there. I have never been anything but impressed with the care given.

Just been to a fantastic with Ceilidh Santa calling, then a wonderful buffet and all staff first class.

My mother was a resident in Moss Park for two years until she passed away in October 2012. I have to say the care and attention she received from all staff was amazing. Nothing was too much bother and she was treated like one of their own family. From the Manager to the domestics, all were exceptional.
