I am extremely pleased with the care and support my sister receives from the staff in this nursing home. My sister's quality of life has improved greatly since she moved to this home six months ago. She is happy, eating well, sleeping well, has made friends and is engaging in activities that she has
never had the confidence to engage with in her entire life. All the staff are kind and caring towards my sister and have actively encouraged her to engage in arts and crafts that she has never been involved with before. My sister loves living in the home and tells me that she wishes she had moved there years ago. She feels valued by the staff and this has increased her confidence and self-esteem. Before moving into the home she was unhappy, depressed, lonely and watched the TV all day. She also did not eat properly and continually caught infections. Now she eats very well as she has her appetite back, has made friends, is much happier and her TV is rarely on. Her life has really improved.

My Mum has been well looked after. The staff are so kind, considerate and really helpful. The manager and all her staff are a credit to the company.
Since my mum has been admitted to the home I feel she is safer and well looked after at all times.

My relative was admitted to Drummohr after bed blocking in a large hospital. He said he would abide by the doctor's advice so didn't have much choice. I feel there is a lack of stimulation in the home, activities have been started but not very imaginative. Food is passable, not 'haute cuisine. Lack
of physiotherapy, so many clients are not mobile. The staff are all excellent if overworked, especially at weekends. The laundry regime could be tightened up - many lost clothes. Nurses are excellent, but they are also sometimes the person in charge. I feel that the website is a bit ambitious and things could be tightened up a bit.

My mum had a fall on 25th November resulting in a very bad head wound. As a dementia patient, my mum had no concept of the seriousness of her injury and as such kept trying to move. The staff were excellent in the care provided. They sat with her and had to continuously attempt to staunch the blood
flow until the ambulance arrived approx 4 hours later. My mum was treated with great care and compassion in what was an extremely distressing situation for all concerned.

Since my sister came to the home my wife and myself have visited nearly every week. We realise my sister is not easy to cope with but the staff are very good with her and very helpful with us as well. So overall we are pleased with the home for my sister.

Staff were really welcoming when I went to view facilities, also really good when my father arrived at the care home. The manageress was really helpful when talking through the facilities that the care home offered. Not afraid to approach all staff and management with any issues.

When I go down to see Mum she is always happy and smiling. The carers are great, always popping in to check she is okay. The staff are all very friendly and caring. Mum always has a cup of tea beside her when we visit, which is great as she loves her cups of tea. I look at the menu when we visit and
it looks great.

This home came highly recommended to me by a friend whose Mum was in the home a couple of years ago. It’s early days but what I’ve seen and experienced so far is all good. Mum is starting to settle and the staff are really good with her.

Since Covid, I have noticed some really good changes at Drummohr. The place is a lot more vibrant and my father actually feels part of something and really loves being there. The company seem to have spent money doing the place up, new carpets and paint which is really nice but the biggest difference
is how the staff are now. They appear more engaged, really thorough and caring (not that they weren't before) nothing appears to be too much trouble. After 3 years of turmoil and all the hassle caused by Covid, it's great to see my father so settled and enjoying his days.

We as a family are very happy with the care and support our mum receives. We know we can ask anything of the staff to make Mum comfortable and happy. Mum is treated with respect and dignity and more, or just as, important fun! We feel the one area that could improve is the laundry which comes up short
at times.

Staff keep me well updated on my mum's progress during the recent lockdown. I find the services very helpful and they ease my mind knowing I can't visit myself. I really recommend the care home, the staff are great.

I would just like to say the care home staff are lovely very helpful. They have a nice garden area with a gazebo in place for garden visits so we are shielded from the elements. They have PPE available and access to hand sanitizers, the home is clean and fresh. All staff are doing a great job in this
current situation we are living in at the moment.

My mother moved into Drummohr in January 2019 and she has been well looked after. The managers have been very proactive for my mother's needs and have dealt promptly and enthusiastically with my requests about my mother's needs.
