My mother moved into Drummohr in January 2019 and she has been well looked after. The managers have been very proactive for my mother's needs and have dealt promptly and enthusiastically with my requests about my mother's needs. The staff/carers have also been attentive and helpful towards my mother.

My father has been in the care home for only one week however we have had great service. The staff have been very accommodating with all our questions and are so patient with my dad's needs. Lovely cafe and garden area to sit and visit.

My grandpa has settled very well into Drummohr Care Home, thanks to the care and attentiveness of the staff. They recognise his needs and he is happy here. I am so impressed by the facilities for residents and visitors. We are able to enjoy quality family time with grandpa, make coffee and play music.
Grandpa was accommodated here at very short notice, which we are very grateful for. He has since moved to a bedroom on a more appropriate floor which he is very happy with. The staff turned this around for him as quickly as they could. Thank you for treating my grandpa with dignity and respect.

My grandpa is staying here and he seems genuinely happy to be here. I love the music/lounge room- he had a big smile on his face while singing along. It makes me happy to see him so comfortable here. Everybody is so friendly and cheerful!

Visiting Mum today and used new cafeteria. It is really beautiful and Mum enjoyed sitting at the table with us. Her room is spotless and she is always immaculately dressed. Can't fault anything.

The staff did a great job creating a social area for residents and their families. The celebration of its opening was a very enjoyable day with staff going above and beyond to make the day fun for all the residents.

Excellent care is given to my father in law. Staff can't do enough for us all. Housekeeping staff are great and are always on the go. Staff are always visible, the managers door is always open and she will always give you time when needed or will often just come out to say hello and ask how things are.
The care given to my father in law has been exceptional, we can't fault it at all, this has helped with the transition which has been difficult for our family. We would just like to say thank you.

In December 2013 my mother broke her hip and also had haematomas on the brain. Mum underwent surgery and the surgeon told me because of the circumstances and Mum's age we could expect her to get a year at most. In April 2014 a room became available at Drummhor. I wasn't sure about it but after 1 week
Mum was back to her usual self and full of praise for the care staff. Thanks to the diligence, care and loving attention from the care staff Mum enjoys a great quality of life. I can't praise the staff highly enough. For those who like to know these things my mother is well on her way now to the grand old age of101!!. That I think says it all. 5 stars all round.

We as a family have found Drummohr to be a very good nursing home. This was our third placement for our mum and by far she is the happiest she has been. She is settled and the staff are so kind and caring to her. Mum has dementia and as a family who don't live nearby, we feel happy with Mum's care and
know she is content and well looked after.

Mum seems to enjoy her time here. She says everyone is very nice. I find the staff very nice also. I do have an issue with Mum's washing. There is a notice on her toilet door saying that her washing must go home, but often I go and there is no washing there. Then I have to go looking for her clothes
as they seem to go missing.

Unfortunately this care home experienced a pretty severe drop in standards in 2017, however all agencies have been involved in trying to 'right the ship'. Many improvements have been made and it is to be hoped that progress will continue. Any problems, when drawn to the attention of staff and the temporary
manager, seem to be resolved. 3 years ago the home seemed to be excellent. Hopefully the same high standards can be achieved again.

Staff very welcoming and always with a smile.
Drummohr feels like "a happy home". Dad's weight was very low when we arrived. With the help of masses of good wholesome food and snacks, we see a difference in him. Dad is offered to take part in lots of activities and encouraged with other stuff.
After
years of caring for dad and the challenges that were brought with them, we are now able to just enjoy dad knowing he is in good hands.
