Mum was only in Linlithgow Care Home for 2 and a half months before passing away but I found every member of staff friendly, helpful and very supportive towards me and mum. The staff did everything possible to make mum comfortable and safe. The also work under pressure so days but keep smiling through.
The social occasions were good fun also. I've met some amazing people in Linlithgow Care Home.

A member of staff, social worker, myself son and wife were present to discuss my mother's care and needs within the home.
As a family, we are very happy with the care my mother is getting.
A member of staff from the care home also said that they were very happy to provide the care our/my mother needs.
The social worker also said she was happy for mother to continue to stay long term and a contract between family and the care home would need to be signed.

Linlithgow Care Home provides a warm, welcoming environment for both my mother and her visitors.
The staff did their utmost to keep her safe and well looked after.
After spending time in hospital it was good to see her socialising again.
The staff were like family and they were constant - always
the same faces who knew both my mother and her visitors.
The home was clean, warm, bright and dispelled all the myths of care homes.
Thank you for making my mother's last few weeks comfortable.
We appreciated the quality time we spent in Linlithgow.

This is an excellent care home. From day one of my mother's stay at Linlithgow Care Home the standards experienced were outstanding. Staff were always attentive, caring and committed. My mother spent her final days here and died at the home in March 2017. The care and respect afforded her was outstanding
as was the relationship of staff and our family. I cannot thank all staff and management enough.

My mother-in-law moved in February 2016. She was a little hesitant for the first few weeks. As time went on she was happier and after having lived in her house on her own for such a long time began to chat with carers and residents. It was a wonderful change seeing her go on outings, doing knitting,
singing in the choir.
The staff are fantastic visiting morning or afternoon they are very attentive and happy to help. Being able to catch up with the nurse can also put our minds at ease. 10 our of 10 in my book.

The care my gran received in the last few days of her life was exceptional. All staff, from kitchen to domestic to care staff, were caring and attentive. She lived in Linlithgow care home for 3 and a half years and I couldn't fault a single thing. Every person who works in Linlithgow is caring, respectful
and always willing to go over and above to help. My gran had dementia but was extremely comfortable, content and happy in her environment. My whole family will miss each and every member of staff.

Having looked at several suitable care homes, there was no doubt that it had to be Linlithgow Care Home for my mum and dad whom I moved down from Inverness. The environment and ambience of the home say it all along with the excellent support from the staff. Despite them both being very poorly, it was
always uplifting visiting them in Linlithgow Care Home.

Since my mother came into this care home we have found the staff to be very warm and friendly. Their care to my mother herself has been excellent and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. The home is purposely built which was an instant attraction to accommodate my mother, as her safety and
welfare is paramount to us. The home itself is spotless and there is always something for the residents to do if they wish to take part. This care home is carefully thought our and run and is to be highly recommended for its care and nursing staff.

Dad moved into the care home and was a little unsettled to begin with, as I was myself. Staff helped to reassure my dad, myself and the rest of the family and my dad appears settled and I am extremely happy with the warm welcome my dad received when he arrived at the care home.

My Mum moved into the home at the end of May 2016. From the very minute she arrived, she was supported and encouraged to do as much as she could for herself. The manager and all the staff are excellent and we found that they always knew what she liked and how she had been each time we visited.


The

home is very clean with good quality furniture and fittings throughout. There are lovely lounges for residents and visitors to use and the entertainment staff have a wide range of activities on offer. Mum seemed to enjoy the variety and quality of food on offer.


Sadly Mum's heath deteriorated (nothing to do with the home) but the nursing staff and local doctor involved us fully and kept us very well informed. In her last days, she was safe, comfortable and surrounded by compassionate and caring staff who made every effort to maintain her dignity.

Very pleased with overall service. Problems with my mum adjusting to move and with interacting with other residents handled really well by the staff. Care home very clean and tidy. Food appears a good variety and tasty. Care home were able to resolve issues with mum's current medication to ensure that
she is much more relaxed and sociable.
