My daughter's dad was a resident for a few months. In the beginning, there was a few miscommunications, not the staff's fault as they were just doing their job. After everything was sorted it was a pleasure to visit. The staff explained everything to us. We could visit anytime unannounced and were met by welcoming staff. Sadly the resident was on end of life which we knew when he became a resident there. He passed away this week peacefully with attentive staff looking after him and his family. The manager came into the room regularly as well which we appreciated as he also had nursing experience and put us at ease. Thank you to every one of the staff who looked after him.

I am very happy with the care my relative is receiving. He has settled in well and the staff are very kind and supportive to him. His personal care needs are being very well attended to and the carers have made great efforts to get to know him. The home is a very safe environment and this gives the family peace of mind.

My father went to Merino Court just under 18 months ago and could not have been happier with the care and support he received. Sadly he passed away peacefully a few days ago but the care he received from all the staff was exemplary. I was welcomed each time I visited and kept informed of his health and well being throughout his stay at the home. I witnessed excellent interactions between staff and residents. Staff built a bond with my dad and got to know him. Thank you for all you did for Dad, it was always appreciated.

My uncle has been in Merion Court for 2 months and I have been very happy with the care he is receiving. The home is bright and welcoming and the staff are wonderful. It's clear that they have established great relationships with the residents. My uncle is treated with respect and the staff go out of their way to make sure he is happy and content. The standard of personal care is superb and my uncle always looks so smart! It gives me so much peace of mind. When I visit, I always receive a smile and a friendly welcome and I couldn't be more appreciative of everything that the home is doing for us. Thank you!

Have found all aspects of care to be exceptional. My husband has been a resident for the past three years, and I can see how well looked after he is. Staff are wonderful and have become my other family. Nothing is too much trouble. I could not have found better care anywhere.

Fabulous care home, due to the wonderful staff that is there. Staff are to be admired in all they do, very professional and caring. They deserve a medal and should be very proud of themselves.

Since my mum was placed in the home, she has been treated with kindness, care and been made to feel very special and wanted. She has always been treated with respect. In these difficult times, I admire the way the staff fo not worry the residents and explain to my mother and others gently when things are a little different now. I would not change anything about my mum's care; they know what is needed to look after her.

From the outset, the care provided for my Mum at Merino Court has been excellent. However, over this past six months, the staff have continually gone above and beyond anything we could have expected in their efforts, to make this very trying situation as comfortable as possible for all the residents and families. The care and consideration shown at this time will never be forgotten by us. thank you to one and all!

The staff at Merino Court could not have been more attentive towards my aunt during her stay there. They were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. They were very welcoming to any friends and relatives visiting the home. There was always plenty of activities on offer for residents to participate in and they were well attended.

The carers are friendly, helpful and go out of their way to look after the residents. I believe they went above and beyond the normal care in Merino Court for our mother, as she was always very happy and involved in a lot of the activities, including dancing, singing and live entertainment, whilst making sure her religious needs were met as best as possible.

No issues with the care. The staff are very accommodating, particularly with Dad's health and hospital communications. The entertainment regime has definitely improved over the past twelve months.

I was worried that my mum would be upset and angry being in a care home but she is the happiest I've seen her in a long time. The staff are so attentive and patient. She is constantly stimulated and can have a coffee all day long so that makes her a happy woman.

The staff are very good with the residents. They make sure they are comfortable and secure and have conversations with them, which is good for the resident and relevant to their previous life before going into care.

Family are informed of any health issues or concerns. They also have plenty of activities which are very suitable for the residents in their care.
