My Mum is fairly new to Four Hills. We went to view the Care Home and took an instant like to it. We liked the atmosphere on entering the building everyone was welcoming and we got to see the whole 4 units lounges etc. The decor is beautiful and we have been informed that it's work in progress that soon all rooms will be getting new carpets painted etc. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and can't do enough for you. Considering the industry they are in they do a great job all round. Beverages, cake and fruit are always available in reception and upstairs cafe. The Activities staff do an amazing job at keeping residents entertained. Looking forward for what's to come. Staff take on board any issues and get them sorted as soon as they can relieving family of unnecessary stress. Thank you

My mum has resided at Four Hills care home, Glasgow for 5 years now. I cannot fault the care she has been given. Extremley helpful staff, and I feel I have built up a good relationship with them. I'm pleased to say, thelatest upgrade of the care home is great, and I'm very happy with the care my mum receive.

The activity team, "pink ladies", are absolutely fantastic with the residents, they always have them doing something fun or days out. There's nothing these four ladies won't do for the residents. 100% my favourites. I am concerned about the security.
Hi Anne, thanks for your review. We're so grateful for your comments regarding our Activities Team, we'll be sure to pass your lovely words onto them. We're sorry to read your concerns surrounding the dcor and security of the home, our home is currently having a refurbishment take place which we...
As a family, we are fairly happy but upset that my relative's clothing is missing. Her appearance is, therefore, poor at times. Be helpful if a member of staff would take responsibility for her clothes.

Activities - could be more of them and to keep to the calendar. (Mostly cancelled - changes or my mother-in-law isn't involved). Yes, she has vascular dementia but she loves company! Feel the staff in the lounge should involve themselves more with the residents. Most of the time they are sitting watching rubbish TV whereas they could get involved in wee games/chats/talks.
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with us. Sadly we have had an occasions recently where a planned entertainer who was scheduled to come to the home had to cancel last minute, we understand how disappointing this can be and our activities team will always try to replace the...
We are happy with my aunt's care at Barchester Four Hills Care Home. The only problem we have is that her clothes have gone missing in the laundry and we have spent a lot of money replacing them.
Thanks for taking the time to leave your review, it's lovely to hear that you are happy with your aunt's care at our home. We are sorry to hear that you are facing challenges with the laundry within the home, there are additional team members joining the team shortly who will be able to support in...

My husband has been in Barchester Four Hills Care Home just over two years. The care he receives in Firhill unit has been great. Also, the staff throughout the care home are very pleasant, they go out of their way to acknowledge my husband when they pass by and I love the smile it brings to his face.

Barchester Four Hills Care Home is a great care home. Staff go above and beyond. Always great activities on, thought and care put into these to involve all no matter their needs. Medical updates are great, always kept in touch about my gran's health.

My father has been in Barchester Four Hills Care Home for a few months now. Within the unit, he has established great relationships with most workers, especially four members of staff, in particular, who are led by the unit lead. These members of staff seem to go the 'extra mile' to ensure the needs of my father are met. Such dedication gives my brother and I peace of mind concerning my father's well-being.
Thank you for taking the time to review our service. I am pleased to note that your dad has settled in the home and building strong friendships. I will be sure to pass your comments on to the care staff.

Overall, very happy with the care and facilities. Kind staff who treat my mother-in-law with kindness, understanding and patience.
Thank you for taking the time to review our service. I am so pleased to hear that your mother-in-law has settled in the home. I will be sure to pass on your comments to the care team.
Our only complaint relates to the laundry. Dozens and dozens of items of clothing are missing. We cannot afford to keep replacing these missing items. We regularly see her wearing ill-fitting clothes that are not hers. This is unacceptable as she has always taken pride in her appearance and has lots of lovely clothes that are now missing.
Thank you for taking the time to review our service. I am pleased to see that you your aunt has settled in the home. I will ensure that your concerns over laundry are addressed, please do not hesitate to speak with me when you are visiting your aunt.
Staff at Barchester Four Hills Care Home are fantastic. Entertainment for residents is first-class, lifts everyone's spirits and wee bar is a nice touch. Would recommend this care home.

Very friendly and always making sure residents are cared for and treated with dignity. No issues with care home.

My dad's been in a few weeks and just settling in at the moment. He said, no complaints. All good, he says. All staff and nurses are very friendly and I would back that up too.
Thank you for taking the time to review our service. I am so pleased to note that your dad has settled in the home. I will be sure to pass your comments on to the care staff.
My dad has been a resident in Barchester Four Hills Care Home for a number of weeks now, he is getting a high level of care. Staff are great, the head of unit is so caring and helpful, as most of the staff are. I have noticed my dad is looking much better, he is treated with respect as we are. Entertainment staff are brilliant. It's such a relief for us, as a family, to know he's getting good care with the clinical lead and staff.
