Greenfield Park Care Home, situated in the lovely, popular town of Carntyne, provides person-centred nursing and nursing dementia care in a warm and welcoming environment.

Located in the heart of the community, Greenfield Park offers a homely setting where residents are encouraged to live life the way they choose. The onsite pub, cinema and hair salon are popular with many residents and the pretty garden is great for activities as well as watching the world go by. My Brother was in for four weeks before he passed away. My Brothers and Sisters were delighted at the care and attention he was given. All members of staff treated him with dignity. Also so nice to me and my family at this hard time in our lives. We could not have asked for any better for our Brother,

My mother spent three weeks in the home in intermediate care. If she could have stayed here full time, we would have loved her too, but they don't have a specialist dementia care facility. The staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The room was adequately clean although a bit small.
She could bring her own bits and pieces into her room and bring her own TV. Mum loved visiting the hair salon. The only thing was that quite a few of her clothes went missing and she ended up with other residents clothes despite clothes going for a home wash. However, that's a small complaint. From the girls on reception to the nursing home manager, everyone was friendly, helpful and chatty. The care home manager always has his door open for relatives to visit.

Thank you very much for your kind feedback. We appreciate it must have been frustrating when belongings had been misplaced.
We will ensure that all staff are aware of which residents clothing is for home wash and this will be clearly displayed in residents bedrooms.
We are also currently trialling a new net bag system for residents laundry which we hope will reduce the likelihood of items being misplaced.

My mum was only at Greenfield Park Care Home for three weeks. She had only been diagnosed with a rare terminal cancer three weeks prior to this and had been in the care of a hospital prior to her move to Greenfield Park. The care staff managed to bring my mum out of herself for the short time she was
there and managed to have her communicating with themselves and my family, something which she hadn't done since her diagnosis. The level of care was faultless and nothing was a hassle for them. Some of the day and night staff can only be described as angels! The support shown to my father was excellent too as sometimes he was visiting my mum until midnight and nothing was an issue for the staff. My mum's final moments were very peaceful and the staff on duty that night made a traumatic time that bit easier and I can't thank them enough for the compassion shown to us all. We never got to meet the management but I would like to say thank you.

Would like to say I would highly recommend this care home. My mum sadly passed away after living here for just over two years, the care she received in here was fantastic, the staff who cared for Mum where amazing and really took Mum under their care.
They brought out the softer side of mum, Mum had
a few ailments and they made sure she had her medication daily, they also got mum to join in activities which wasn’t always an easy feat as mum was quite a headstrong woman.
I feel we got an extra two years with Mum due to the care, attention and love she got here.
The manager of this home was also very approachable and helpful, a lovely caring person himself.
Cannot fault the home on any aspect and would definitely recommend the home if you or an elderly relative are looking for a safe and special home with staff and management who care for their residents.

I had the option to visit four times whilst my mother was in Greenfield Park, all I can say is the service to her and others was caring, professional, efficient and lots of other nice things.
No words can describe the care especially when the time came at the end.

They care about dad and others with a view of friendly attention and kindness. The staff of the home are long-term employees so the residents see familiar faces and can bond with them, plus they get to know the patients likes and dislikes. The office staff are very good at their jobs.

What an amazing place, they are taking great care of my granddad and all the staff are amazing and very friendly and very helpful. I was very worried about my granddad going into a home but from day one they made him very welcome and care for him very well.

My Dad's carer has made us feel special and very helpful. Thanks to her coming back from maternity leave. My Dad was happy you are back at work. I think she is his favourite, and ours. She even brought him a jar of coffee when he ran out. She paid for it out of her own pocket, this is beyond the care,
so thank you.

I had reservations about using a care home as you hear a lot of stories but from day one the staff were great. The rooms were kept clean, plenty of entertainment for the residents and they take great care of Dad which is a blessing.

From the reception area all through this care home, the atmosphere was calm and peaceful. It is not possible to single out one member of staff as all were superb, kind and caring.
Unfortunately, my husband was unable to participate in any of the activities or enjoy the food so I cannot comment on them.
But
the care he received in his short stay was outstanding and after he died the staff treated me with great sensitivity.

During the 3 weeks of my grandmothers stay, I found the standard of care and support she received within the Finlay Suite to be impeccable. The staff provided consistent stimulation to keep my gran active, comfortable and contented within a nurturing homely environment. Visitors were welcomed and involved
in activities - myself and my 3-year old daughter enjoyed the Cinderella panto, along with my gran and the staff made my daughter feel included in songs and later found a photo of this great memory in my grans room, a wonderful personal touch! Every one of the staff team made the final 3 weeks of my gran's life as enjoyable and comfortable as we could have hoped for.

During the final days of my gran's life, she resided in the Finlay Suite. The staff there offered my gran the best possible care within a comfortable cosy environment, supporting the family during a very difficult time - over several days. The residents were treated with genuine care and compassion
and it was evident that the staff team work together to accommodate individual needs, wishes and preferences to ensure every one of the residents feels respected and cared for during the day and night.

I have been delighted by the effort of everyone in Greenfield Park - for the fantastic care offered to my mother in her end of life care. I would recommend this placement to anyone who believes the end of life care should be tailored to meet individual needs, preferences and wishes. This home is immaculate
with delicious food, entertainment, space and décor. All the staff are friendly, professional and genuinely seem to care and enjoy their roles in supporting and caring for elderly adults.

My mother is being well cared for and her needs being seen to. She is in the "End of Life" period and kept pain free, clean and comfortable.
The staff talk to her and tell me stories of her day.
Happy with her care and her room though the drawers and wardrobes are looking worn and due for replacements,
apart from that I have been happy with my mother's care and the compassion shown by the staff.

My mother-in-law stayed at the home since February 2016. The family are extremely happy with the care she has been given.
She was in end of life care until February this year and has put on over a stone in weight which are delighted.
