Highgate Care Home, situated in the peaceful residential area of Uddington, supports older people to lead their best lives with personalised nursing and nursing dementia care.

Highgate recently underwent an extensive refurbishment programme which transformed communal areas including dining rooms, lounges/day rooms, reception area, bathrooms and corridors. Highgate has a host of places in which to relax, dine, exercise, socialise and be creative and the pretty landscaped sensory garden and patio is the perfect spot to spend time with friends and family.

From care assistants and nurses, to wellbeing coordinators and chefs, each and every member of the professional care team is there to assist you or your loved one in settling into the home. With a wealth of knowledge and experience in the care sector, the home manager leads the team to ensure residents are supported to lead their best lives at Highgate.

The catering team at Highgate understands the nutritional needs of older people and creates delicious meals to ensure a lovely dining experience for all residents and visitors. I was very apprehensive about my mother going into full-time care. I visited Highgate Care home prior to my mother moving in and was really impressed with the professional and competent behaviours of all the staff I came into contact with. My mother has settled in very well and has made friends with
other residents. She became ill with pneumonia and the staff acted quickly to have her seen at the local hospital and treated for her chest infection.

My mum is a resident within Highgate Care Home. She has settled in without any problems, due to the friendly staff and other residents.
The staff are very professional and keep me informed of any changes with regard to my mum's care.
My mum receives three meals a day with snacks in between.
The room
she has is very spacious and spotless too, another reason I would recommend this home to anyone.

I so appreciate the care given to my brother every single day since residency in August 2023. He is under the regular watchful eyes of staff, with special attention of his Parkinson's and falls challenges. He is cared for with respect, dignity and love and kindness. There is so much to appreciate about
Highgate. It's always fresh, lovely floral displays and nicely decorated public areas for special dates; Christmas, Valentine's, Mother's day, St Patrick's, so colourful and pleasing to the eye for residents/visitors. It's a pleasure to visit, always welcomed and given time for questions by phone or in person. In comparing options, Highgate was a standout. Staff are so respectful and caring. I cannot thank them all enough - nurses, carers, support workers, activities coordinators, management, admin and not forgetting kitchen staff! Highgate staff go the extra mile and with a smile, but most of all, with love and kindness. They are a testimony to being part of the Kind Care company.

My mother-in-law has been at Highgate Care Home for 7 years now. The staff have looked after and cared for her despite Covid, challenging behaviours and illness. They are caring and attentive. Thank you for continuing to provide excellent care.

My brother and I did not envisage such a happy outcome for our dad prior to his arrival at Highgate Care Home. Without exception, the staff and management are kind, caring and so helpful to us as visitors. Dad is always smartly dressed and very clean and tidy. The variety of activities is amazing, and

My mother-in-law has been in Highgate since June 2022. It took her a few months to settle, but she has been so well cared for during this time. I cannot praise the care staff enough; they do everything they can to make her stay safe, healthy and happy. We looked at several care homes for my mother-in-law,
and we are so happy we chose Highgate.

Me and my mother are so happy with the staff, they are so helpful and polite and always go above and beyond to help. 10/10 service. We feel this is more like a five to six-star hotel as my mother gets spoiled.

My mum moved to Highgate Care Home a year ago. This was a difficult decision but we chose the right care home. The staff look after Mum ensuring her needs are met, (and the families). The staff are approachable and you can speak to them about my mum if needed.
There has been issues with staff due
to sickness but feel the staff is needed for patient care and continuity for residents.

I have found both staff and facilities to be more than adequate. The staff have treated my dad with the utmost care and kept his dignity at all times. His room is clean and tidy at all times, and he has settled in really well. Any issues with my dad have been dealt with quickly and with care.

My mum moved into Highgate 3 weeks ago. The staff have been fantastic helping her settle and have been a great support to her family. Everyone you come into contact with is so kind and caring. I am very pleased with all the facilities and believe this move for my mum will keep her safe and improve her
quality of life with the company and activities. I would highly recommend this care home if you are looking for a new home for your family member as the team work incredibly hard to make it feel like a home within a bigger home for your loved one with their well-being a priority.

Having to place my mum in care was one of the worst things I have had to do, but from the very first day, the wonderful staff at Highgate made this experience the best it could be. Care homes are bricks and mortar, but every one of the team here is invaluable. They work tirelessly to ensure all their

I find this staff at Highgate Care Home professional, friendly and very supportive both to my aunt and myself.
My aunt has received the highest level of care, staff have been patient and caring with my aunt who can be very challenging. I couldn't wish for a better home for my aunt. They have treated

My mum has been in Highgate Clyde unit for only a few weeks and I can't express my gratitude enough. The care and overall feeling in the home are exceptional. All staff really care about the client and family members, nothing is a bother, my mum had a stroke and lost the ability of speech they have
been wonderful and Mum already has a great friendship with the staff. She smiles and waves to them. She was in another care home for 3 months and I took her out.
