Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about Claremont Care Home. All feedback is valuable and allows us to review the process to ensure we provide the highest standards of care. Due to the ongoing pandemic social care is facing a staffing crisis and unfortunately at times we have had to use agency staff in the home. We have however, block booked staff so that we have regular agency staff who know our home and our residents to provide continuity of care and support. Our staff continue to follow Government guidance in relation to Covid-19 and unfortunately, we are seeing Covid cases on the rise, which has an impact on the care home sector. The Home Manager is in contact with Public Health daily and the decision to close the home during outbreak is ultimately theirs. Following updates from Public Health the Home Manager updates relatives via email, so you have the most up to date information on the home at any given time. I am sorry that you have had issues with our laundry service and had this been brought to my attention it would have been rectified straight away. We do have a laundry system in place that normally works well, but I will review this again with the residents and family within the home.
