A caring and considerate home is provided for our dad. He is in a safe environment and they have given him and us their full support throughout the recent pandemic. This has ensured that the level of worry we have felt has most certainly been less. Thank you for all your cares.

Mum has been in Newfield Lodge since the beginning of February 2021. Even under difficult circumstances (COVID) the management and staff have been excellent, nothing has been too much bother, and they always have time to discuss any issues and concerns. Mum has joined in all the activities, and it seems to have helped her health and well-being.

This is a very comfortable and friendly care home. The residents are very well cared for. The staff are all very caring and treat the residents with respect and dignity. Mum likes to take part in the many activities that are provided. She is happy and content in her surroundings and I believe her quality of life has improved since she became a resident.

My mother has been a resident at Newfield Lodge care home since 2016. She suffers from vascular dementia. She has been in excellent hand for the last 5 years. The staff are very caring and the home is very well managed. Ideal Care Homes have navigated this terrible covid situation competently by ensuring timely testing and vaccinations in place on time. Our family is indebted to them for the wellbeing of our mother. We are very impressed with the visits and FaceTime call arranged to be near our mother. Thank you, Newfield Lodge.
Thank you so much for your review, we are so pleased to hear that your mum's move has been a positive experience for you all. We are very proud of our staff team, many of whom have been with us since our home opened, and we see lots of examples of them going above and beyond for their residents. Thank you again for the kind words which I shall be sure to pass on.
I am pleased to say I have nothing bad to say about Newfield Lodge. As far as I know, they are very helpful in every way possible. Mum is missing the outings, but that is everybody. Let's hope we all get back to normal soon.
Thank you so much for reviewing our home. We appreciate your kind words and will make sure your comments are passed on to the whole staff team.
This is a very comfortable and friendly care home. The residents are very well cared for. The staff are all very caring and treat the residents with respect and dignity. Mum is not a person to take part in many activities but there seems to be a lot going on to keep the residents happy. I'm glad we chose this home for our mum.

We are so pleased we chose this home for my mum who has dementia. They are very well organised with plenty happening for the residents. They are caring and look after them with regular hair and nail appointments but during the lockdown, the staff took it upon themselves to keep up with this. The home has a lovely feel to it, it's welcoming and clean. Mum has made lots of new friends which is just what she needed. Being cared for is expensive but it's worth it.

Newfield Lodge is, in my opinion, an excellent care home. All staff members are caring and understanding towards my father's needs. They go above and beyond what is required, I would happily recommend Newfield Lodge to anyone.
Thank you for your kind words about our Newfield Lodge home. We are very pleased to hear such lovely comments on our staff, we will ensure this message is passed on to them.
Depending on which staff are on caring duty, Mum feels happier and able to talk and confide in some. Mum complains a lot about the quality of food and how it is cooked. A regular service of newspaper delivery would be appreciated. As her daughter, I feel happy with her care and safety. Relations are made to feel welcome and there is plenty to occupy residents if they wish to join in.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Feedback is very important to us. We are pleased you are happy with the quality of the care and activities on offer at Newfield Lodge. We have recently updated our menu and hope your Mum finds these meals more to her taste, and she is more than welcome to speak to our chef with any further requests.
I came to visit my friend who is very poorly. I was greeted warmly and was made a sandwich and a cup of tea. Everyone was really lovely. The home was beautiful and very clean and tidy. The gardens looked lovely, just a shame it was raining or we'd have been sat outside. I felt right at home.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our home. How lovely to hear of your visit to Newfield Lodge. We are so pleased that you felt welcome. We encourage friends and family to visit residents and I will ensure your kind comments are shared with the whole staff team.
Dementia staff poorly trained and general level of care for dementia residents woefully inadequate, high turn over of staff from line level to senior management.
We are sorry to see these comments as we are aware that our home management team have been liaising with you in order to resolve your queries. We are extremely proud of our staff team, many of whom have worked with us since our home opened in 2012 and we feel that their training and person-centred...

My mother moved into Newfield Lodge in February of this year and we are very happy how she has settled in. The home is always fresh and clean, the carers are lovely. There is a good timetable of entertainment and activities which the staff do a brilliant job organising. The laundry service is excellent clothes are laundered and returned to residents rooms correctly. Mum always has her own clothes. There is a clam comfortable atmosphere in the home. The inhouse hairdresser is fab and the regular chiropodist visits are great.

Ever since my father was homed at Newfield Lodge he has been very well looked after. The staff are excellent in that they are professional, caring and supportive to his needs.
Thank you for your kind comments about our home - we will be sure to share these with our staff team.
Great care home with wonderful staff.
All the staff and management care very deeply about their residents and the family members who visit them in Newfield Lodge. The rooms are clean, kept tidy and the food is provided by a National Award Winner and his team providing an excellent range of meal options to choose from.
The home provides open days, regular events and a nativity play last Christmas, followed by "Grease the musical " in August 2018 which everyone enjoyed.
I chat to other residents besides my own family member creating an inclusive friendly atmosphere for all.
