The staff at Eden House put the care into care home. Whenever they have the time I see them chatting to residents, or combing their hair or doing their nails, whatever makes that individual feel good. We recently had a birthday for my grandfather. All the staff went above and beyond to make it a special day for him with a party, his favourite foods, his favourite music and visit from local children.
Well done everyone, many thanks once again and best wishes for 2020.
I cannot thank the staff enough at Eden House for the support that they have given myself and family and the support of all the staff in Eden House for giving my mother-in-law the care and support she requires to have a comfortable, happy and safe environment. Thank you so much from all the family.
My mother was in the home for almost three years during which time she was treated with dignity and respect at all times. Staff were always friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
As a new resident of Eden House, we could not have found a more caring and homely abode for our mam. From the first enquiry to welcoming mam into her new home, the management and staff have been exceptional, both to us and especially to mam, treating her with loving kindness and respect. Any initial queries we have are answered positively and professionally, giving us the peace of mind and confidence in the whole of the Eden House team. We are sure mam's latter years will be spent being well looked after and cared for in the most comfortable, clean, well-nourished and happy home.
The cleanliness of the whole building, internal and external is very good. Staff are very friendly, know their jobs, smart working attire, not clinical. A very good team, disciplined.
All of this comes from a top-class management team.
It was a truly wonderful day with entertainment, two wonderful cakes and afternoon tea, all provided.
Everyone had a fantastic day.
It is spotlessly clean and he enjoys his food.
The grounds are pleasant to sit in on fine days.
My mother returned to the home after a three-year absence. Her previous stay was respite. She is now 96 and we intend that her stay will be permanent. She has settled in well, likes the staff, likes the room and enjoys the food. We are more than satisfied.
My Father has recently moved into Eden House. It is a lovely, bright and airy building. Dads' room is spacious and nicely decorated. The welcome by and professionalism of, all staff has made the transition a relatively straightforward process. Information and progress reports are given freely and are easily understood.
Having watched the staff in action, I can say that they are caring and mindful of the differing needs of those in their care. There are regular events and activities to entertain and stimulate residents. The food is of a very good standard.
A big thank you to all the staff.
From our initial visit in March 2018, we were really impressed. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. They treated our mother with respect and maintained her dignity at all times. We live away and needed to know that she was in good hands. Whenever we visited, all the staff were kind and very caring. It was comforting to us to know that she had loving care up to the end. Our sincere thanks to the manager and senior staff for everything they did.
My mother-in-law was a resident at Eden House for 2 1/2 years, having suffered with Alzheimer's. She was treated with dignity and respect at all times. We live over 100 miles away and staff always consulted with us in regards to her care. they were also extremely caring to my father-in-law who suffers with dementia (managed with medication) and any concerns regarding him during his visits to his wife were also brought to our concern. As a family, we cannot thank all the staff enough for their care. The home is really welcoming and extremely clean.
I am very happy with the car emy Mam receives and she is happy living here. All the staff are very kind to her and the staff go out of their way to look after her.
Eden House offers excellence compared to the home she was in previously.
I am very happy with the care that my Dad receives at Eden House Care Home. Every Sunday morning I collect him to take to church and he is always ready and dressed in his suit with a shirt and tie. I am really pleased with this as it means a lot to my Dad to be able to attend church. Dad and I have also enjoyed watching football in the care home and I have always been made to feel very welcome.
My Mam's time in Eden House was enjoyable and happy for both her and her family. The staff loved and took care of Mam as if she was theirs. Loads of entertainment kept her amused and she was more alert even though she had Alzheimer's. They catered for her every need in all ways mentally and physically. Well done to you all.
Very satisfied overall with staff, service and accommodation.
Outstanding care and consideration is given to my mother who is failing. As a family, we are here most of the day and the care and professionalism shown to us and mother is outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble.
Mum came to Eden House initially for respite and has felt thoroughly looked after and the staff are so caring and friendly. We would not hesitate to recommend Eden House to family and friends!
The staff are very caring and helpful.
The rooms are very clean, in fact, the whole place is pristine.
My visitors are most impressed by the cleanliness of the whole place.
I will come again if I need to.
Thanks to all the staff for the kindness and help.
