Visiting the home regularly I have always found clean and the staff always pleasant and welcoming. I understand they have a lot of paperwork but it would be good if they had a little more time with the residents and relatives.
Thank you for your review, we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. Thank you also for your positive comments regarding Eden House. Staff do need to complete paperwork every day, however they do try to balance this with spending time with Residents; we will monitor this moving forward.
Not enough attention to details of resident's needs or appreciation of the impact of this on their lives. Dismissive attitude of a few staff lets it down. Some staff excellent. High-quality accommodation. Routine quite rigid. Information on personal care needs not always passed on to or adhered to by car staff. Saved some very dedicated and compassionate staff but more training needed for others who do not show this.
If she wishes to have a day in bed she can.
She is treated with respect and dignity but also with love and care.
Her physical, emotional and intellectual needs are fully met and she enjoys the activities.
The premises are always clean and my mam comments on how wonderfully helpful the housekeeping team are.
This home is outstanding. The care and dignity it has given to my mother-in-law. She was very happy to be there. Lovely staff who care about everyone's needs. They always kept us informed of everything that was happening. We can't fault this home, it's like a five-star hotel.
My mum was lovingly and professionally looked after by quality, caring staff. A credit to this profession.
Absolutely outstanding in all respects.
Top quality care from dedicated staff, always happy and cheerful and very helpful.
My mother in law loved each day of her stay at Eden House.
I'm impressed with home as a whole and very impressed with the way visitors are welcomed and looked after.
Very happy with the care and attention.
At present Eden House is immaculate - no smells. The staff are caring, long may it continue at this standard.
From the first visit to Eden House to consider a placement there, I can only say how welcoming, attentive, polite and helpful all staff and managers have been.
My brother is at last in a care home that looks and feel like a home and I can relax knowing his environment and care is the best I could have chosen for him. Attention to details, table clothes on for a meal. Furnishings that are homely. I love everything about it.
On every visit, the staff are always extremely friendly, happy to help and offer refreshments. Always greeted at the door with a smile.
We have always thoroughly enjoyed coming here and always receive a warm welcome and we enjoy meeting all the patients and staff. It is very good for patients and carers long may it continue. Thank You
I was really amazed at the time and care the staff take with the people in their care. Nothing was too much trouble, from the maintenance man hanging the pictures in the lady's room we were visiting the nursing staff who took phone calls from me. The home is lovely and welcoming and the rooms are patient friendly. I can honestly say this is the best nursing home I have ever visited.
We have visited Eden House over the last two months with a dementia group for coffee mornings and singing for brain activities. Although we cannot actually review on residents view, every time we visit Eden House everyone seems very happy and the care appears to be excellent. We are always made very welcome and my husband who has dementia feels comfortable and enjoys his visits. (Thank you all). When my husband's care needs change, we would definitely consider Eden House in the future.
I am very happy with the care my nanna has received. All of the staff are happy and nothing is too much bother for them. The home is very clean and has lovely decor. The food is good with plenty of choice. I would highly recommend this care home to my friends and family.
My mother has been a resident for over 3 years now, she is settled and comfortable. Overall, very happy with her care provision.
I am very proud to live at Eden House.
A lot of effort goes into it for which we are grateful, especially for my mam, who benefits greatly from it.
I personally cannot rate it highly enough, long may it continue to stimulate, entertain, exercise and amuse residents on both levels, the grace unit, especially and downstairs.
I feel very happy that my mother is in such a comfortable and caring environment. Staff are very helpful and quickly sort out any issues that may arise and try to make sure that residents are happy.
