Overall Experience
I bring my Mother-in-law along once a month to the coffee morning and singing. She enjoys taking part in both these activities very much. The cakes are always delicious. We first came to Eden House three years ago. My mother-in-law came in for respite visits.

Sadly they are no longer offering this service.

We go to coffee mornings and singing for memories and they are really good. I have made new friends.

Overall Experience

Eden House is a lovely caring home for their residents. The staff are 100% friendly caring and very professional in their everyday duties towards the residents and their families. Residents enjoy entertainment and activities daily, be it partaking in outings to local venues. The food is of a high standard and the menus are varied therefore encouraging residents to have a varied and healthy diet. Couldn't ask for anymore for my mum!

Review from Joanne M (Granddaughter of Resident) published on 31 October 2016 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience
Excellent facilities and well-maintained/presented. Criticism would be aimed towards a) the meals and b) staff presentation/confidentiality. Meals provide no nutritional value and are both bland and unappealing in presentation (e.g plain jacket potato and spaghetti hoops - not satisfactory).

Staff, on the whole, appear to be attentive, although referring to residents as "Grandad and "Grandma" and hollering down the corridor at one another is unprofessional. Also, a reminder not to discuss residents medical issues in common areas.

Review from Mandy V (Daughter of Resident) published on 24 May 2016 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience
Excellent facilities of a high standard eg. chandeliers, large pictures, murals etc. to grasp attention. Detailed areas - shop, seaside areas draw in and focus attention with familiar memories providing reassurance and security to dementia clients.

I observed several group activities on my unannounced visit, which has really impressed me as in my experience this is rare but a necessary to make life as enriching as possible.
