Signature at Coombe Hill Manor

The team have been excellent since my mother moved in. Were extremely helpful during COVID to admit my mother and both co-ordinated this well in addition to going the extra mile to accommodate a complex move. They are generally well organised and clear in how they communicate with residents. The team are very warm and welcoming and there is a very good community spirit in the home. Staff are friendly and take good care of the residents. This is a very well maintained home and facilities are excellent.

My mother has been a resident at Coombe Hill Manor for nearly 4 years. Over the period her care has been excellent and her well-being always at the forefront of the staff's approach to her. As her needs have changed and increased so has the care and attention she has been given. From management down, the approach has been an active and positive engagement with both her and her family. Even in the exceptional circumstances created by COVID, the staff have used every opportunity to ease the stress it has caused and make contact with her from outside as available as possible either through video links or in-person visits. It has been my experience that Coombe Hill Manor aims to and manages to achieve the highest standards in care.

My father moved into Signature at Coombe Hill Manor in January 2020. He is 75 years old and suffers from advancing frontotemporal lobe dementia and has been unable to walk for five months. We were pleased when he was offered a place at this home, as having done extensive research and visited many homes over the previous year, it was far and away our first choice. However, we were still apprehensive as to how he would react at being placed in a care home. We need not have worried though - the care and compassion he has received from Day one has been exemplary. He is always happy and contented when we see him, immaculately presented and obviously very well looked after. The staff are always courteous and kind and very respectful to him and the quality of care is excellent.

This is an incredibly nurturing environment for residents and their loved ones. My 94-year-old grandmother has found a love for painting. She's never picked up a paintbrush before and she's now creating beautiful masterpieces - she's discovered a talent that has been given care and attention by the wonderful team at Coombe Hill Manor. Amazing!

Lovely caring environment. Efficiently run which reflects in the fact that some of the staff have worked there for many years. The food is delicious and altogether an uplifting place to visit.

The care provided to my aunt has been exemplary and the staff have shown care, love and dignity to her. She has been encouraged to participate and attend all events which I have encouraged as I am a non-resident of the UK and therefore am not able to visit often. This has meant that my aunt is encouraged to participate and be stimulated but without pressure. She has responded positively to any staff interaction when I have been there and this can only be genuine. I certainly feel, that in what is a difficult time of life, my aunt is getting all the respect and care due to her.

My family found everything excellent with regard to my sister's residence at Coombe Hill Manor. The only problem we had was not always being able to understand the nurses English when almost all had English as a second language.

I had great confidence in the care provided for my husband by the staff and management at Coombe Hill Manor. Attention to his individual wellbeing and encouragement of his interest was admirable. As a constant visitor, I was also aware that this care extends to the community of resident in general which is delightful. The ambience of the home is always warm and inclusive, to family member and friends, which always made visiting a pleasure.

The latest award is well deserved.

I spent 3 years at Signature in which I was looked after very well by carers, nurses and all staff. My accommodation was very comfortable and all departments very helpful.

Always helpful with any problems (which are few). Clean, tidy, well kept and managed and you always know that your mother/father is in good hands.

Everyone has been so friendly and reassuring to my parents who have moved recently into Coombe Hill Manor. Their sitting room, bedroom and bathroom are so comfortable and the staff are always offering to help and are very supportive but at the same time allowing them their independence as much as possible.

We only received the most caring and professional attention and service at Coombe Hill Manor, we couldn't have asked for more.

My father lived here for nearly 3 years, up to his death in November. Throughout, he was treated with superb care, charm and courtesy. Management of the home is outstanding, getting the tone throughout the home and quick to pounce on any problems. Staff communicated well with Dad and the family. On his death, they could not have treated us better or with more love. It is an expensive home so one expects good service. But the whole place is exceptional. I cannot recommend it more strongly.

The whole team, both individually and collectively, was very helpful and provided outstanding care in every respect. We could not have asked for better.

My mother's care needs increased towards the end of her life. I cannot rate the nursing care which she received more highly and the genuine outpouring of grief and love at her passing from all who nursed her touched my heart deeply. My mother embraced the staff and carers as her "family" and they reciprocated and loved her. I shall always be grateful for what they did for her.

My siblings and I are very happy with the total care our mum receives here at Coombe Hill. There are always smiling faces everywhere which means that the staff are happy in their work and this reflects hugely in our mum's wellbeing. She is happy to be there and happy someone else is doing all the work! I think the quality of staff is excellent and the care she receives is the same. I only wish this could come at half the price is.

I am writing to express my sincerest thanks for the care and attention and kindness that the whole team at Signature Coombe Hill Manor showed to my mother and father during the time they spent with you. Also, for the emotional support that was given to me over the last few months of my father's life. I couldn't have asked for anything else.

Friendly, welcoming staff. Wonderful care home, nothing is too much trouble, the care given to my friend has been outstanding without exception.

We will never forget how well she was looked after and thank everyone for their support over the last three years.
