Over all time Belong Warrington has 107 reviews.
Mum has been a tenant for a few years now and Dad has been in a resident on Tetley Household for just over 12 months. The staff are second to none and are always looking out for Mum, particularly since Dad had to move out of their apartment . Dad has been receiving the very best care - the care he deserves - on the household.
Last weekend Mum had a fall, which resulted in paramedics being called and some time in hospital. Without exception, the staff on duty at the time - including regular staff and the Belong at Home carer who regularly supports Mum, - acted with care, compassion and professionalism towards family members as well as Mum.
When it was time for Mum to be discharged, all the stops were pulled out to accommodate her for respite care on Whitley Household, adjacent to where Dad is. Within 24 hours, he'd been taken to spend some time with her.
I can't begin to express the gratitude I feel that Mum and Dad found Belong.
Thank you very much for this lovely review. We really appreciate you taking the time to provide us with this feedback. We are delighted to hear that your parents' experience at Belong Warrington has been so positive, and trust that it will continue to be so.
She settled in Tetley household. It was almost like being at home. They cared for her like she was one of their own, until she passed away last October. Dementia is a terrible thing, for the family and of course for her, but she spent her last months in peace and comfort.
Thank you to the staff who cared for her, and particularly Barry.

All the staff have worked hard to help him settle in quickly and feel at home. He has been mixing well with other residents and Jane has encouraged him to join in the daily social events.
We have been impressed with the care and compassion shown to Dad and to us as family members.

It hard going into residential care from being in own home but this was made easier because we feel he is well looked after. It has felt like a family and we as a family are made to feel welcome.

My Mother in. Law spent her last 2 years of her life in Forshaws's household in Belong in Warrington. She went there after the lovely ladies of Belong at Home visited her in her own home. When she then transferred to Belong Warrington the staff in Forshaws carried on with the same standard of care she had received at home. She liked going to see them in the Hairdressers regularly and the staff on Forshaws used to do her nails with the same pretty colour she used to do herself. They made sure she looked lovely everyday just as she used to at home. The Staff always made us very welcome from Barry the Manager to Gail on Reception through to the Julie in the Bistro and Mel, Alison, June etc on Forshaws. We were encouraged to treat it as Mother in laws home by being able to make her and ourselves a drink and have a snack whilst we were there. The bedrooms are lovely very light and airy with nice fitted furniture and ensuite facilities. The care they gave to my mother in law was excellent
Thank you so much for taking the time to post this incredibly moving feedback. It was a privilege to support your mother-in-law and it is crucial to us that we make people's time with us as special and positive as possible. It will mean a great deal to our Forshaws team and the entire village team to read your comments and I will ensure they are shared with everyone. Thanks again.
My husband used to go 'walkabout' and could not be kept in. Social Services also tried to find Respite and some homes refused to have him. Belong tackled this differently, and they take him out for walks when fine. They also moved him downstairs to enable him to walk in the enclosed garden.
Now he comes and waves me off when I leave , surprisingly, and he's never asked me to take him home.
He has a very good rapport with all staff in his household.
I like the fact that there are several separate households as it feels far more homely. I have not found this anywhere else. The Residents are given a limited choice of food, which is cooked within the household.
I cannot speak too highly of the staff, who also make visitors very welcome.
I have never once regretted him staying in Belong and do not feel that I have made the wrong choice.
Thank you for taking the time to submit such wonderful feedback. We aim to maintain high standards at Belong Warrington; we are so delighted to hear this has been your experience and that your husband received such great care. She was looked after with respect, care and compassion, with some of the staff going above and beyond for her. For this we are truly grateful.
She was treated as an individual and with dignity and ended up comfortable in her lovely room.
All the staff at Belong are very friendly and helpful and as a family we felt extremely supported.
Thank you for your care and support over this difficult time.

My mum loves it here. She settled in really well and loves the activities. The staff are excellent at looking after her needs and always treat her with dignity and friendliness. Communication is good and all concerns are discussed with me. I love feeling a part of the community at Belong.

My wife quickly settled in, and was happy and relaxed when a friend visited and when I returned from my 'respite'. Jo, the in-house hairdresser, worked magic - "we've got Mum back" said our children.
As my wife's main carer, I really appreciated the support which all of the staff also offered to me. It counts a lot. Thank you.

The houses are attractive and comfortable, staff are very attentive and bedrooms comfortable and spacious. Menus are excellent and if your relative enjoys certain foods they do their best to provide. The bistro is a lovely addition where you can go for lunch or a coffee

The care and support provided to my cousin during her time at Belong, Loushers Lane Warrington was exceptional. No complaints about Belong care home 10/10 for staff. Only disappointment is that the govt has done nothing to improve/change the financial support for residents and their families.
