Wiltshire Heights is an exceptional 63-bed care home in Bradford-on-Avon with a highly-trained, compassionate team on hand 24 hours a day to provide exceptional residential, dementia, nursing and respite care. My Mum spent two weeks of respite at Wiltshire Heights while I was on holiday and everything was first class. The introductory session regarding care package was extremely extensive, and several topics such as visits from a nutritionist, following up x-ray and eye test appointments were followed up
during this time, which was above and beyond what was expected. The food and activities were great, and Mum also saw a hairdresser and chiropodist during her stay.
Would have no qualms about her going back for more respite in the future.

Spent 2+ weeks - respite care. First visit. Delighted with experience, was nervous on decision but immediately made to feel very welcome by management and staff and this continued throughout my stay. Keep up the excellent and invaluable service. Thanks.

Wiltshire Heights is a welcoming and well looked after care home. All the staff are friendly and professional and seem to genuinely care about the residents. This view is endorsed by all those who have visited my mother.

This is a wonderful modern home which actually feels like home. The care my mother receives is always professional around the clock and delivered by friendly dedicated staff. Our Labrador is welcome on the premises and I even get told off by the residents if I don't bring him along! I cannot recommend
Wiltshire Heights too highly.

Wiltshire Heights is a smoothly operating, competent and professional organisation which puts clients at the centre of all decisions. The staff are very supportive of my sister and have taken great pains to understand and meet her needs. They observe and are able to inform me about her current health
and emotional condition. The home was able to help us look after visiting relations from Devon, organising a buffet lunch and a private dining space. I feel that personnel whilst caring totally for my sister, are very supportive and compassionate to us, her relatives.

My mother has settled well and often said how kind the carers are. She says she is never bored and there are lots to do. The family feel welcome when visiting and the atmosphere calm. Referral to her GP, when required, has been prompt and appropriate which has reassured us.

Quality & care my father has received allows our family to sleep at night. We breathe a sigh of relief knowing that my father is safe, warm & cared for as a human being with dignity.
It's a hard road my father is travelling down, to see that the staff engage, laugh & share time with is important, they
know him perhaps not as he was but how he is now. I see the genuine friendliness & love they have for him.
If there is a need for anything medical they are professional never taking anything for granted when responding to health issues.
Excellent at keeping the family updated & so good at guiding us through the stages of this condition.
I can see a genuine commitment & shared attitudes to the well being of my father ..............
The rooms are a good size with excellent ensuite bathroom facilities, the rooms are warm & decor of a high standard.
The communal areas very good most afternoon the "Big Movie" is put on which is enjoyed, plenty of actives & trips.

I have piece of mind that Mother is in a safe, caring and stimulating environment. The activities are particularly helpful in maintaining her mental wellbeing. We are always welcomed by staff whenever we visit. The common lounges are essential to seeing visitors in a room that is not a bedroom maintains
dignity.
Our Mothers room is not large but she has easy access to a garden area. The garden has improved since a gardener has been employed, as it is not reasonable to expect the activities staff to have the knowledge and resources to maintain an appealing looking garden.
We appreciate the options Mother has to go on outings in the minibus .
When she has been feeling unwell staff have been very considerate and caring. Easy access to the Doctor and Nurse are important so her concerns can be addressed promptly and anxiety reduced.
The Manager is very approachable and accessible for relatives to raise issues .She has raised the standard of care since Mother took up Residence.

Our mum went into the home in March as, being nearly 97, she was very frail. She had not wanted to leave her home but the excellent food, wonderful care and entertainment she could join in meant she was happy to be there. She liked her room which was light and comfortable and joined other residents
to eat and at other times.
Her care could not have been better so her last few months were comfortable and she was safe and well looked after.

We have been delighted with the way in which my father has been welcomed to the home.
He is 93 years old and had to travel from Australia to join us in England. He settled in immediately and has often told us how wonderful the staff are and how kind they are. We visit dad regularly so we can see for
ourselves that this is the case. He looks ten years younger, is eating very well and is obviously content. Thank you to all.

Very pleased with the home, my husband has settled very well. Only a slight problem is that there are too many spicy main courses. Would prefer the English cooking that he is used to.

We have found this an excellent care home, which though expensive, is good value for money. The staff are good and always friendly and seem well trained. Most are local and nearly all are regularly employed staff not agency, only sometimes do we see an agency worker. At our last care home, most staff
were agency, often with poor English while the management 'hid' in their offices - this is not the case at Wiltshire Heights. My father's mood improved considerably after moving in and he is very happy there. The rooms are large, the corridors wide, the whole place has the feel of a luxury hotel. The activities programme is large and varied, my father has always been too shy to socialise much with other people and has come to enjoy many of the events, entertainments or trips out.
We fully recommend this care/nursing home.

My mother was a resident in Wiltshire Heights from August to December 2016 having moved her from another care home. The staff at Wiltshire Heights are excellent. They are friendly, professional and treat the residents with care and dignity. The manager knows her staff really well and runs the home efficiently
and compassionately. When my mother passed away at the home in December we could not have received more kindness, better end of life care and support. It was excellent.

Hello, my name is Charlie Osgood, and I am the Home Manager here at Wiltshire Heights.


I started my career in care in 1992, working nights as a carer in a nursing home. I loved the job, and it prompted me to undertake my nurse training in London and return to the same nursing home in 2000 in the position of home manager. I then managed this home for three years.


In the 20 years that followed, I have managed two other nursing homes, worked as a training and development manager and also been a regional manager for a small care provider consisting of five care homes.


I am passionate about care and the need to build positive relationships and work in partnership with our residents, their loved ones, our team, local professionals and advocates to achieve the best possible care and outcomes for individuals living in our home, and I am particularly excited about the opportunity to manage a home as impressive as Wiltshire Heights.

Hello, my name is Jas, and I am the Client Services Manager here at Wiltshire Heights.


I have experience working in various customer service roles, from group reservations and event management to regional sales management. I loved working in events and organising weddings, corporate conferences and seasonal parties. I have also worked for the NHS in various hospitals as a clinical coordinator.


I came into the care sector hoping to use my experience to support our residents in living a well-rounded life. I am able to use my experience in events to plan special occasions for everybody in our home to enjoy, so not only do our residents receive excellent care, but they also have a great time socially as part of the Wiltshire Heights community.

Hello, my name is Sally Bullock, and I am the Head Housekeeper here at Wiltshire Heights.


I originally joined Wiltshire Heights as a night carer and eventually became head housekeeper. I loved both roles, however, I feel housekeeping is where my talents really lie. Before this, I worked in a senior school, however after 25 years I decided I wanted to try something different.


As part of my role, I have the privilege of spending time with our residents on a daily basis, mingling and chatting with them and finding out whether there is anything I can do for them. I am lucky to have a great team who keeps our home sparkling clean and shares my sentiment that nothing is too much for our lovely residents.
