Wiltshire Heights is an exceptional 63-bed care home in Bradford-on-Avon with a highly-trained, compassionate team on hand 24 hours a day to provide exceptional residential, dementia, nursing and respite care. Those living at Wiltshire Heights benefit from a private bedroom with an en suite wetroom, a choice of lounges to relax in, a bespoke hair salon and a private dining room to celebrate those special family occasions. The whole team are thoughtful and caring and provide excellent care.
Mum has very comfortable room. I am impressed by the quality of all aspects of the home particularly the social activities team and the very attractive dining room. The menus are well thought out and tempting for poor appetites. The
whole ethos of the home is for residents to see it as their "own home".

My mother is well looked after. There are a variety of activities should she wish to participate. The staff are very friendly and answer any questions I might have. The food looks very appetising.

I am very happy with the level of care that my mother receives and the friendly reception I always receive when visiting. My mother has said that she is looked after very well which is high praise from her. She does complain about the timing of when she is given her medication, the time it takes for
the bell to be responded to and about the food. However, I have not any concrete evidence that supports this and admit my mother does like to have something to complain about.

My daughter (a local physiotherapist) and I moved my wife from another local home after 4 years, as the standard had slipped considerably. Despite many forebodings, the move has been totally successful despite her Parkinson's having progressed significantly over the last few months. The attitude and
care of all the staff have been excellent and they have really got a grip of her associated problems and we both feel confident at all times. The manager has turned around a newish home which initially had a poor reputation and in conjunction with an excellent team she has gathered around her, has turned Wiltshire Heights into a first class place.

My father has been in Wiltshire Heights Care Home for 2 ½ years with Alzheimers his condition has increased each month with varying issues. The staff are very caring and supportive to my father. He is safe and contented in the home. I am very pleased with the care my father receives it's such a relief
not to have to worry. During the last month dads, condition changed further and management were involved as some changes were needed. This was handled so well with speed and dignity.

I have recently moved my wife to this loving and caring home. Every member of staff who I have met gives 100% of their time to their allotted duties, (most impressed.) I am not at the stage of needing their care. BUT . I would like to go on the waiting list if I needed it.

- Since the new home manager was appointed earlier this year, the home has been transformed.
- Care staff of a high standard, including activity ladies, and all other staff.
- Good, relaxed atmosphere amongst staff and residents.
- Right ratio of carers to residents and very rarely bank/agency staff.

Food of a high standard, although rather a lot of cream.
- Only downfall is the mini bus allocated to Wiltshire Heights/ Cheltenham. A suitable heavy good driver has still not been found. Local trips would make such a difference to the residents, especially over the summer.

I would like to thank the house manager for her kind and compassionate management of the home. Her team are a credit to her. The staff go out of their way to help. The nurses were so kind to my mother and made her comfortable. The chef took her menu to her and continually made sure she had the meal
she would enjoy. Sadly, my mother has just passed away. But I send heartfelt thanks to Wiltshire Heights for making her end of life very comfortable.

My mother lived in Wiltshire Heights for about 20 months. She felt more at home there, than any other place. The staff didn't just treat her as a resident, they made the effort to really get to know her and connect with her; they played her favourite games, ran her bath to her preferred temperature,
looked after all her medical requirements and best of all, they would have a laugh with her. When she died, they cared for her as though she was one of their own personal relatives. It was more than care. They treated her with love and professionalism.

Having reached a stage where my adopted mother could not longer cope with living in her own home as a family we decided she needed full time assistance but not care. Having looked at several other "homes" Wiltshire Heights appeared to be the the ideal solution. Although still fiercely independent it
was with great hesitation coupled with an element of reluctance she agreed to come here for a 2 week holiday, after just over one week she felt so safe and cared for that she made the decisions herself to make this her new home. A great relief for us as a family and so good to see her happy living on the residential floor which beautifully furnished with her every need catered for, all round a satisfactory end of a difficult situation.

I called in to see this care home not long after it opened. I was made welcome and shown around.


When I had a client in need of respite I took her to see Wiltshire Heights. She loved it and stayed very happily for a couple of months.


I have always been welcomed by the staff, the residents have

always been clean and happy. The food is excellent.


Will certainly use Wiltshire Heights for clients in the future.

Having visited my relative on a couple of occasions it was clear to see that the care being given was of an excellent standard. The home facilities are of a very high standard and clean. All of the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Overall a very welcoming home and I certainly
wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home to friends and family - I score the home 10/10.

My mother came into the Wiltshire Heights care home at short notice for a period of respite care. She needs a lot of help and support with her day to day needs. The staff have welcomed her and been exceptionally kind and caring. My mother has described them as 'loving'. We could not have asked for a
better environment or service.

I am very pleased that mum has settled so well at Wiltshire Heights and talks very highly of it. The staff are very competent, friendly, show kindness and empathy to her. The home is of a very high standard and has a luxury hotel feel about it. It is a very peasant environment to visit as well and I
always enjoy my visits and am made to feel welcome.
A lot of activities and entertainment are provided for the residents. The food is of an excellent standard. Having a dedicated residential dementia floor is a real plus point which I hadn't seen in other homes I had visited. As well as having free use of the spacious rooms and their floors, the residents are taken to other floors for events and activities and to the main garden area.

Hello, my name is Charlie Osgood, and I am the Home Manager here at Wiltshire Heights.


I started my career in care in 1992, working nights as a carer in a nursing home. I loved the job, and it prompted me to undertake my nurse training in London and return to the same nursing home in 2000 in the position of home manager. I then managed this home for three years.


In the 20 years that followed, I have managed two other nursing homes, worked as a training and development manager and also been a regional manager for a small care provider consisting of five care homes.


I am passionate about care and the need to build positive relationships and work in partnership with our residents, their loved ones, our team, local professionals and advocates to achieve the best possible care and outcomes for individuals living in our home, and I am particularly excited about the opportunity to manage a home as impressive as Wiltshire Heights.

Hello, my name is Jas, and I am the Client Services Manager here at Wiltshire Heights.


I have experience working in various customer service roles, from group reservations and event management to regional sales management. I loved working in events and organising weddings, corporate conferences and seasonal parties. I have also worked for the NHS in various hospitals as a clinical coordinator.


I came into the care sector hoping to use my experience to support our residents in living a well-rounded life. I am able to use my experience in events to plan special occasions for everybody in our home to enjoy, so not only do our residents receive excellent care, but they also have a great time socially as part of the Wiltshire Heights community.


I feel incredibly lucky to be part of this fantastic home.

Hello, my name is Sally Bullock, and I am the Head Housekeeper here at Wiltshire Heights.


I originally joined Wiltshire Heights as a night carer and eventually became head housekeeper. I loved both roles, however, I feel housekeeping is where my talents really lie. Before this, I worked in a senior school, however after 25 years I decided I wanted to try something different.


As part of my role, I have the privilege of spending time with our residents on a daily basis, mingling and chatting with them and finding out whether there is anything I can do for them. I am lucky to have a great team who keeps our home sparkling clean and shares my sentiment that nothing is too much for our lovely residents.
