Wiltshire Heights is an exceptional 63-bed care home in Bradford-on-Avon with a highly-trained, compassionate team on hand 24 hours a day to provide exceptional residential, dementia, nursing and respite care. Care always good, staff helpful, manager available, father happy.
My father moved here from another home where he had been very unsettled and difficult. He calmed down once at Wiltshire Heights and had 22 months enjoying his final days. The end of life care was excellent.

My relative resident in Wiltshire Heights is more than satisfied and at Christmas time was telling me so. The whole building is pleasant to visit and always so clean and cared for. The staff I have encountered are always helpful and polite. I have been told the food is good but I have not experienced
a meal at the home myself. I would certainly recommend the home to anyone who could afford to stay there.

The friendly and professional attitude of the staff and the salubrious environment encountered when visiting Wiltshire Heights Care Home instil a justifiably high degree of confidence in their approach to the care of the residents. My mother has been there for nearly 10 months now and we have been very
happy with her care which can be challenging due to her cognitive impairment. The staff and management are extremely patient and helpful and deal with any queries or worries we have promptly and with enthusiastic concern. The rooms and communal areas are clean and attractive and there is a pretty garden for the residents' use. Activities are provided daily and the food provision is of a high standard although a little bland (to my taste). The premises are secure and well maintained inside and out but the reception of visitors is friendly and informal. The only quibble is that it is pretty expensive but with the quality, consistency and number of dedicated staff that is what you should expect.

My father was transferred to Wiltshire Heights Care Home from his local hospital where he was bed bound, confused unaware of who we were or where he was and not able most days to eat or drink. In a short space of time since arriving at Wiltshire Heights, he is now sat in a recliner, standing using
a zimmer frame, aware of who we are and at times lucid. He can now feed himself and hold a cup of tea. He is happy, comfortable and improving on a daily basis.

Wiltshire Heights exceeds our high expectations for my mum in care, they cover all the aspects of her care requirments, as she is registered blind. All the staff and management are approachable and friendly and always willing to give advice. The food is excellent and the chef is always willing to share
ideas. There are various activities including regular minibus trips to the supermarket and places of interest. The rooms are comfortable and have en-suite facilities. We could not have chosen a better home for mum. Mum has been there 14 months, and my father was living there a year before that until he died in 2017.

I feel really lucky to have found Wiltshire Heights Care Home. The staff are exceptional, the activities and outings are varied, interesting and stimulating and the food is very good. I dreaded having to move to residential care but I have settled in very happily and I am extremely well looked after.

I would highly recommend Wiltshire Heights Care Home. My father was very well cared for during his recent stay at this home. All the staff were highly professional and treated him with great kindness, dignity and respect. He was terminally ill and the staff ensured that he had the calm, safe and peaceful
environment that he needed during the final stage of his life. I know how much he liked being there and we both felt how lucky we were to have found this home. I will always be grateful to them for the way in which they cared for him.

I am very impressed with the level of care provided and the professional manner in which the home is run. The carers and all the staff are enthusiastic. I visit my mother at the home nearly every day and I have never seen any member of staff act disrespectfully or without care. The care home building
has been carefully designed to encourage residents to eat together and has lots of communal space and activities. There is access to an open-air balcony, sheltered from the wind or the garden from all floors which has been wonderful for sitting and chatting. When it became inevitable that my mother would have to move to a care home, I investigated the care homes in the area and was shown around five of them. I found Wiltshire Heights was the best choice and I have not had any reason to change my mind.

I enjoyed my stay for 2 weeks.
Strange at first but met some very nice clients and got on well with them.
I thought the idea of 2 lounges very good for the TV or for a quiet hour in the other one, a very relaxing experience.
Also a brilliant idea of being able to have breakfast at a very good time,
no hassle at all.
I hope this is of some help.
Thank you once again for my stay at Wiltshire Heights.

My Mum spent two weeks of respite at Wiltshire Heights while I was on holiday and everything was first class. The introductory session regarding care package was extremely extensive, and several topics such as visits from a nutritionist, following up x-ray and eye test appointments were followed up
during this time, which was above and beyond what was expected. The food and activities were great, and Mum also saw a hairdresser and chiropodist during her stay.
Would have no qualms about her going back for more respite in the future.

This is a wonderful modern home which actually feels like home. The care my mother receives is always professional around the clock and delivered by friendly dedicated staff. Our Labrador is welcome on the premises and I even get told off by the residents if I don't bring him along! I cannot recommend
Wiltshire Heights too highly.

Wiltshire Heights is a smoothly operating, competent and professional organisation which puts clients at the centre of all decisions. The staff are very supportive of my sister and have taken great pains to understand and meet her needs. They observe and are able to inform me about her current health
and emotional condition. The home was able to help us look after visiting relations from Devon, organising a buffet lunch and a private dining space. I feel that personnel whilst caring totally for my sister, are very supportive and compassionate to us, her relatives.

My mother has settled well and often said how kind the carers are. She says she is never bored and there are lots to do. The family feel welcome when visiting and the atmosphere calm. Referral to her GP, when required, has been prompt and appropriate which has reassured us.

Quality & care my father has received allows our family to sleep at night. We breathe a sigh of relief knowing that my father is safe, warm & cared for as a human being with dignity.
It's a hard road my father is travelling down, to see that the staff engage, laugh & share time with is important, they
know him perhaps not as he was but how he is now. I see the genuine friendliness & love they have for him.
If there is a need for anything medical they are professional never taking anything for granted when responding to health issues.
Excellent at keeping the family updated & so good at guiding us through the stages of this condition.
I can see a genuine commitment & shared attitudes to the well being of my father ..............
The rooms are a good size with excellent ensuite bathroom facilities, the rooms are warm & decor of a high standard.
The communal areas very good most afternoon the "Big Movie" is put on which is enjoyed, plenty of actives & trips.

Hello, my name is Charlie Osgood, and I am the Home Manager here at Wiltshire Heights.


I started my career in care in 1992, working nights as a carer in a nursing home. I loved the job, and it prompted me to undertake my nurse training in London and return to the same nursing home in 2000 in the position of home manager. I then managed this home for three years.


In the 20 years that followed, I have managed two other nursing homes, worked as a training and development manager and also been a regional manager for a small care provider consisting of five care homes.


I am passionate about care and the need to build positive relationships and work in partnership with our residents, their loved ones, our team, local professionals and advocates to achieve the best possible care and outcomes for individuals living in our home, and I am particularly excited about the opportunity to manage a home as impressive as Wiltshire Heights.

Hello, my name is Jas, and I am the Client Services Manager here at Wiltshire Heights.


I have experience working in various customer service roles, from group reservations and event management to regional sales management. I loved working in events and organising weddings, corporate conferences and seasonal parties. I have also worked for the NHS in various hospitals as a clinical coordinator.


I came into the care sector hoping to use my experience to support our residents in living a well-rounded life. I am able to use my experience in events to plan special occasions for everybody in our home to enjoy, so not only do our residents receive excellent care, but they also have a great time socially as part of the Wiltshire Heights community.

Hello, my name is Sally Bullock, and I am the Head Housekeeper here at Wiltshire Heights.


I originally joined Wiltshire Heights as a night carer and eventually became head housekeeper. I loved both roles, however, I feel housekeeping is where my talents really lie. Before this, I worked in a senior school, however after 25 years I decided I wanted to try something different.


As part of my role, I have the privilege of spending time with our residents on a daily basis, mingling and chatting with them and finding out whether there is anything I can do for them. I am lucky to have a great team who keeps our home sparkling clean and shares my sentiment that nothing is too much for our lovely residents.
