Facilities are very modern, good layout, very bright and airy. Rooms are a good size and again are bright and airy. Kept clean and fresh. Staff are very friendly, helpful and caring, both to residents and relatives.
Great choice of food, all freshly cooked. Also, any requests are catered for.
I am happy my father's needs are catered for. Care is excellent.
We are delighted with all aspects of the home. Everyone is very caring and respectful of my father and any queries or problems are always dealt with immediately.
Gives my father the best care available. Something I and my siblings are unable to provide. It is just like home, staff friendly and treat all the residents like friends.
A lovely home and the staff couldn't be more helpful.
Very impressive home indeed!
Very polite and attentive staff, in a clean and safe environment. The resident is happy with the quality and quantity of food, especially with the sweets options!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Perry Manor to anyone. In fact, I already have! My husband was very ill when he was admitted and he received the most excellent 24-hour care. The nurses were always very happy and couldn't do enough to make him comfortable. The home is beautifully furnished. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and the whole atmosphere is happy, light and airy. There are two beautiful gardens for the residents to enjoy and entertainment is provided for them on most days. Everyone I have spoken to were extremely happy there.
We are really pleased with how well my mum and dad have settled into Perry Manor. The staff are all lovely, any concerns are dealt with straight away, and there is a lovely homely feel in the care home. Both my parents seem happy and contented here and are treated with dignity and respect and as individuals with individual needs. Thank you!
It is so comforting to know that your relatives are being looked after top such a high standard in every aspect of care.
Mum went to Perry Manor for a few weeks recovery after a hospital admission with a view to it probably being a long term stay. Unfortunately she had picked up a chest infection, was readmitted to hospital a few days later and sadly she passed away so her stay in Perry Manor was short.
However, my experience was that everyone we met at Perry Manor was warm, caring, and professional. The staff, at all levels, seemed to enjoy their work and get on well with each other. Everyone went about their tasks but had time to smile and say hello to each other, to residents and to visitors.
I cannot fault Perry Manor in anyway. I have some experience, this was the third relative I had to find a care home for and Perry Manor is by far the best I have seen and not just in Worcester. I know it's expensive; but high fees don't always give high quality - they do here. I highly recommend you check them out.
Thank you all - you were lovely.
Both of my parents were diagnosed with dementia in 2016 and were moved into the care home during the December. From the day of arrival, the staff at Perry Manor have made them feel welcome. The level of care given is excellent and communication with myself regarding any issues or updates on my parent's health has been consistent. There have been massive improvements in the day to day management of the home during my parents stay and I applaud the home manager for the passion and commitment to improvement.
We would not hesitate to use Perry Manor again.
My mother-in-law has just returned home from spending two weeks respite at Perry Manor. She was made very welcome by all the staff who involved her in the extensive activity programme which is organised for all residents. The care assessment and administration were very easy. It was noticeable how all the staff really enjoy being there and this was reflected in the fun atmosphere.
Staff are great, kind and patient, including the chef. The rooms are clean and tidy. If I say it myself they all go out of their way to make everyone happy and relaxed.
Very moving Remembrance Day celebration on the Saturday afternoon. The staff managed to involve residents from all the floors i.e dementia sufferers/able/medical care. Excellent buffet tea followed.
My mother received excellent care from Perry Manor care home staff and they gave her a very good quality of life in her last few months.
With gentle coaxing, she eventually classed a few of the carers as her friends and this enabled her to live her last weeks peacefully.
Perry Manor will always hold a special place in my heart.
All the residents appeared to be content and had a relaxed and friendly relationship with staff.
The food and facilities are excellent with many activities on offer.
I was greeted on my visits with smiles from all staff and they showed concern for how I was feeling.
I wholeheartedly recommend this home.
Dad was in respite for two weeks, he was very well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the food was excellent. His room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. We would have no hesitation in using Perry Manor again should the need arise.
My father died on 20th May. Perry Manor had been his home since March. During his short time there the staff brought him back to life. He started to talk again feed himself again and even progress from a wheelchair to a walker and then to walk a little on his own. Every single member of staff treated him with the utmost dignity at all times but more than that they treated him with love. They took time each day to talk to him and to help him Facetime with me. My father loved to be shaved every day and to be dressed in a shirt and jumper and they did their best to make sure that happened even on the day. I was arriving from America and he was heavily sedated, they told him I was coming and that he was having a shave so, he would be neat and tidy ready to see me. Where else would you get that care? These people are amazing they truly love what they do, with a passion. I thank them all from the bottom of my heart for loving and caring for my father as I would.

Meet the Team (1)

I’m a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse, and prior to joining Perry Manor in 2016, I was Deputy Hospital Director of a 63-bed psychiatric hospital in Bristol. I originally joined Care UK in 2006 and worked in its mental health division. The idea of returning to work for the organisation was attractive because I believed in its core values, and respected its ‘care first, business second’ approach.
Since joining the Perry Manor team, I’ve been making positive changes for both the residents and my colleagues. I was thrilled when we received an ‘outstanding’ rating from the Care Quality Commission at our inspection in late 2018. We were the first home in Worcester to achieve this quality rating.
I’ve also been honoured to have won a couple of recent awards for my work. In 2019 I won silver in the British Journal of Nursing Awards and in the same year I won the award for Best Dementia Care Manager at the National Dementia Care Awards.
I’m incredibly proud of the fantastic home we’ve created for older people in Worcester – none of which would have been possible without the commitment and passion of the team at Perry Manor. When you work in a care home you realise that it is organic, there will never be a finished product. It continues to grow, change and develop. Looking ahead, we will continue to strive to deliver the best care to every resident, keeping up-to-date with the latest practice and working with residents and their families to make Perry Manor a home from home for all of our residents.
