Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level
of care and support required by each individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge.
Nursing fees include the Funded Nursing Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible. There are no additional fees
for respite stays.

Please note, the weekly fee does not include hairdressing, chiropody or other healthcare visits or

other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

Welcomed at reception. Relatives engaged in activity - painting - but preferred to play scrabble which I thought was more mentally stimulating (though I do appreciate some residents wouldn't be capable of playing scrabble).
Relative happy but very pleased to see a family member.
Enjoyed game of scrabble
in coffee area and engaged to talking to lots of different people. I feel the use of a mini bus would be a great benefit.

Most recently we are looking forward to taking our residents on a trip to the Cathedral, and we also plan trips to the park for picnics as well as visits to the local pub and trips out to the garden centre.

My parents (both) have now been here for eight months. The staff on the first floor where they stay have always been friendly and welcoming and have treated both with dignity at all times. My parents always look clean and well cared for and have settled well (although mum's health did take rapid decline
once she moved in). I would perhaps like to see more activities which would keep dad busy, as it is often very quiet here with little going on.

From our first visit to view the home we were welcomed by the staff and treated with every respect. My wife, has been looked after very well. The room is excellent and kept clean daily. Food is very good and varied. My wife is very happy to be at Perry Manor - given she is unable to be in her own home.

I have been really impressed by Perry Manor. The staff are incredibly kind and caring and continue to treat mum with compassion and consideration. The atmosphere is very homely and welcoming and everyone is always smiling. There are an abundance of activities to keep all residents occupied, as the staff
made very attempt to tailor care to everyone's individual needs. I cannot recommend the home enough!

Generally care staff and standards are good but there is room for improvement in that the attention to individual attention to detail can be improved. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would expect the quality of care to improve to near excellent after the increase in fees from 1st April 2016 as better
staff are attracted by increase in care staff salaries.

We have found the care and support at Perry Manor to be absolutely first class. Mum has been treated like a lady since she first arrived. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. The nursing care has been superb. Everyone enters the room with a smile and a personal greeting. Catering is very
good with a very wide choice of food on offer at every meal, and again lovely greetings from the staff. Housekeeping is high class, room and bathroom always clean. Mum is treated with dignity at all times, and is always consulted.

My mother was admitted in December, following 11 weeks in three different hospitals. She was given a diagnosis of vascular dementia whilst in hospital and needed full time care. Her physical state was very confused and aggressive. Four months on and she is hardly recognisable, she has gained some weight
due to the wonderful three meals a day. She looks better her hair and nails are done regularly. She can now hold a reasonable conversation, and she is enjoying her surroundings. She believes she chose Perry Manor! The staff are excellent, caring, encouraging, nothing is too much trouble. We (her family) are so grateful to have found a wonderful final home for our mother.

A very straightforward and honest presentation from all, down from the manager, with a special word of thanks to customer relation manager. But then from the manager to carers, cleaners, first class efforts. I am about to take over my new room on the second floor. My wife and I cant wait for the opening

Perry Manor is a high quality home in all respects, from quality of the facilities to the care and support provided by all staff. It is a modern, welcoming and relaxing environment with a 'warmth' that is achieved through the manner in which residents are cared for as individuals, and friends and relatives
are welcomed as are visitors. Care is provided with thought and flexibility in a way that strikes the right balance between respect and informality; with staff always making time to talk as and when necessary. As a relative I have a high level of confidence in the staff to provide the care and support required.

I find Perry Manor Care Home very professionally run by the staff and management. The high standard of service in nursing care and aged care is excellent. The friendliness, calmness, helpfulness, facilities, cleanliness, quality of food provided are all exemplary. The modern state of the art décor is
so cosy, comfortable, relaxing, reassuringly 'a home', particularly for the aged who are spending their end of life here. A very impressive care home.

Job Title: Home Manager

Joined: 2016

I’m a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse, and prior to joining Perry Manor in 2016, I was Deputy Hospital Director of a 63-bed psychiatric hospital in Bristol. I originally joined Care UK in 2006 and worked in its mental health division. The idea of returning to work for the organisation was attractive because I believed in its core values, and respected its ‘care first, business second’ approach.


Since joining the Perry Manor team, I’ve been making positive changes for both the residents and my colleagues. I was thrilled when we received an ‘outstanding’ rating from the Care Quality Commission at our inspection in late 2018. We were the first home in Worcester to achieve this quality rating.


I’ve also been honoured to have won a couple of recent awards for my work. In 2019 I won silver in the British Journal of Nursing Awards and in the same year I won the award for Best Dementia Care Manager at the National Dementia Care Awards.


I’m incredibly proud of the fantastic home we’ve created for older people in Worcester – none of which would have been possible without the commitment and passion of the team at Perry Manor. When you work in a care home you realise that it is organic, there will never be a finished product. It continues to grow, change and develop. Looking ahead, we will continue to strive to deliver the best care to every resident, keeping up-to-date with the latest practice and working with residents and their families to make Perry Manor a home from home for all of our residents.
