Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level
of care and support required by each individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge.

for respite stays.

other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

The care and compassion provided was excellent, from the moment we came for a look around to the end of life.
The environment is welcoming when you always enter the door and all staff knew the residents. All the residents always looked happy when you walk through the home.

Really happy with how Dad has a home at Scarlet House. The staff are all so so lovely, every part of the team - from the front desk to the carers and nurses! They genuinely all take such an interest in Dad and his welfare. Thank you guys so much, the staff are truly lovely nurses who help put a smile
on my face when dealing with some of Dad's health issues. The admin staff, you guys are brilliant too for all the 'Dad-min'. My dad's and all the other epic carers, keep up the great work. It really helps me and my brother rest easier knowing Dad has got some people there for him when we can't always be with him.

I would like to express my thanks to Scarlet House for helping to make my mother's 90th birthday memorable.
We had a lovely family party there with food provided - including a delicious Birthday Cake.
The staff are friendly and always seem to go beyond what would be expected as part of their job.
Nothing is too much trouble for them.
They have made Mum feel comfortable and at home there.

Very pleased after visiting my father at Scarlet House. The team there did so much to make our few days there enjoyable and special. We could also see the care they took with my father and in making him comfortable. The Customer Relations Manager and Deputy Manager took time with us, listened and shared
all they do it and how they do it. We left feeling that he is in the best place to offer the care he now needs and provide the best life experience possible. Our thanks to the entire team.

The person-centred care at Scarlet House is outstanding. The staff take the time to really get to know the residents and care for them as individuals. Overall care was really good. If there were any problems relating to care they were resolved really quickly. I was informed of any health issues as soon as possible. If there was one thing that could be changed for Mum, it was her room. She was told when she first moved in that when a room with a door
to the garden was available, she would be offered this. But sadly this didn't happen.

Our mother moved into Scarlet House earlier this month after a trial stay in October. Although the move was not easy, the staff at Scarlet House were welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful and supportive to all of us as a family, managing to balance being both friendly and professional. I feel
confident that she is being well looked after while retaining her independence. She enjoys the meals, socialises and, when she feels ready, there is a wide range of activities available to her.

We really appreciated how genuine the care and attention were in our mother's last days. There are some very kind people working at Scarlet House! The rooms are very pleasant and clean, and the facilities are, in general, very good. Our mother was blind, so we are less able to comment on some of these

Job Title: Home Manager

Becoming Home Manager at Scarlet House has been the highlight of my career so far. Before this, I was working as a Team Leader. I really wanted an opportunity to progress in my career, and that’s something Care UK has offered.


As Home Manager, it’s important to be caring, compassionate and have a good eye for detail. You also need to have good interpersonal skills and be diligent, hardworking and committed to the home.


I love seeing the residents enjoying activities in the home – it's my favourite part of my working day. I’m proud to work with a fantastic team that makes a difference in residents’ day-to-day lives.


Outside of work, I enjoy family life, and my other interests include music and cars.
