‘I love the people I work with, both the residents and colleagues. What I really enjoy about working at Ashwood is the diversity it offers me; one day I am in reception, and the next day I can be providing resident care or be working in the kitchen or supporting residents with activities. I love my job.
Mat joined Ashwood Care Centre as the Handy Person in February 2025, having previously worked in the military as a Warrant Officer Class 1 for 25 years.
