I cannot praise highly enough the standard of care shown by all staff to the residents. The home put on an Easter Fayre to raise money towards a garden project and included residents and families in this endeavour. Families are continually encouraged to take part in activities and also training to understand tasks undertaken such as the Namaste care offered. Well done Mildenhall Lodge.

The staff at Mildenhall Lodge are so genuine and amazing, everyone is well looked after and in a comfortable environment. The care home itself is very clean and has a nice, welcoming atmosphere. I'd recommend to the public to come in and interact with the residents when you can, you'll be shown nothing but kindness by everyone!

My siblings and I visited our uncle and were extremely impressed with not only the care home but also the staff. We received a very warm and welcoming response from all the staff we met. But more importantly, we knew our uncle was safe, comfortable and certainly treated with dignity there, thank you all. I just hope there is a care home like yours where I live if needed.

After a scare in October, when we thought my husband was close to end of life, the superb care he received from our doctor and Mildenhall Lodge caring staff, he pulled through. They go over and above to look after him and me also with the utmost respect.
Thank you again,
Hannah and the team.
It was a pleasure to visit our friend today. We had a friendly welcome from the staff and everywhere was immaculate. We enjoyed a coffee in the cafe. Our friend showed us around and we were very impressed.

Thank you again,Hannah and the team.
Mildenhall Lodge is friendly, community-minded and well-run. Staff are approachable and generally nothing is too much trouble. Always clean, always well-staffed. Activitities are regular, and well thought out with much effort made. Would always recommend to others. Run as a care home should be.
Thank you very much for your kind words and positive review, I am glad you feel this way about your loved one in the home. Saying you would recommend to others is very heartwarming so thank you, I will ensure to pass your review onto the team. Thanks again, Hannah and the team!
After a shaky start on our part, the staff have been very supportive and done their best to provide care to my father. His rapidly changing moods have meant that he is challenging to help but the more experienced carers have dealt with this with humour and kindness. The rooms could be bigger and brighter and the furniture is minimal and a little tired-looking but the communal areas are bright and comfortable.
Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback for Mildenhall Lodge, your feedback is greatly appreciated by the team. I am sorry to read it was a shaky start, and we understand it can be a very difficult time at the start of transitioning to a new environment. I would like to thank you for your...
Highly recommended. All the staff are simply amazing. I just don't know how to begin to express my thanks to everyone at Mildenhall Lodge for their exceptional care and kindness to my mother and our entire family. They made you feel like part of a huge welcoming family so very considerate and caring. The onsite chef and kitchen staff whipped up special requests to try to get Mum to eat when her appetite disappeared. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Making birthdays and anniversaries special celebrations. There are always activities and any excuse for a party. Weekly entertainers. The manager is very helpful friendly and easy to contact. During Mum's passing they were so considerate and caring. Assisting with difficult tasks understanding helpful and just like family. They are all so genuine. All residents are treated like family. Myself and my family are forever grateful for your support and kindness.
Thank you very much for your lovely words, I have passed this review onto the team as it very much their hard work and dedication to ensure that your mum's care was delivered to the high standard we expect. I am glad you and your family felt supported and that you feel like the residents are treated like family, the means alot to us all in the home. Thank you again, Hannah and the team.

The initial impression of the building from the outside is favourable. The entrance and reception area welcoming and the staff on duty are keen to help. Taken to my brother's room which I found light, airy and a good size. The staff whom I saw were caring and patient! My brother seems to be happy and content living at Mildenhall Lodge. Unable to rate all areas as not applicable to me.

Hi! Thank you for your 5* feedback for Mildenhall Lodge, I will ensure to pass this on to the whole team here. Again, thank you, greatly appreciated.
I have been consistently pleased with the level of care my mum received at Mildenhall Lodge. I feel that Mum is safe and well looked after and that provided me with peace of mind, which is precious. Staff are friendly and engaged. the home also arranges daily activities for residents which I consider to be very important to stimulate and bring joy to the residents. As a regular visitor, I also appreciate the welcome I receive and the connections I have made as I navigate this difficult journey with Mum.
Thank you for leaving such a lovely review, it's warming to hear that you feel safe with your mum in our care. We try to make everyone feel this way, not just our residents but their loved ones too so I am pleased. Thank you again for such lovely words.
Due to needing care urgently, the home was very quick to action allocating a room and arranging transport from the hospital to the home. My mother-in-law has thoroughly enjoyed her stay, and has started sleeping well and eating more. It has been lovely to see her interact with the staff and other residents and taking part in the events that are put on regularly. She has also enjoyed spending time in the garden. A big thank you to all.

My dad was resident at Mildenhall Lodge for 22 months. I knew as soon as I walked into the light, airy entrance/reception/coffee shop it would be the right care home for him and I was not wrong. His level of care has been excellent from the nursing and care staff through to reception, catering and housekeeping. Unfortunately he was not able to take part in many of the daily activities but I was always impressed with what was on offer from the Lifestyle Team. His day-to-day care was great, the care staff very respectful and caring of him and welcoming to us, his visitors; the nursing staff did everything they possibly could for his complex health needs, always seeking advice from specialists when necessary. I always left feeling confident he was being cared for to the best of everyone's ability. I would very much recommend this care home.

Meet the Team (1)

Hi, I’m Ed, the Home Manager at Mildenhall Lodge. I hold a Level 4 qualification in Leadership in Health and Social Care and will complete my Level 5 in February 2026. I have also completed the Future Home Manager course.
My previous role was Deputy Manager at Mildenhall Lodge. I decided to work at Care UK following a recommendation from a family member after the passing of a loved one, which led me to join Davers Court as a Care Assistant—and I’ve never left. I believe the key characteristics needed for my role are being patient, kind, caring, dedicated and passionate, leading by example, having strong coaching abilities, and being a real people person.
My favourite part of the working day is seeing residents enjoying their daily lives and making new memories with loved ones, colleagues and visitors, as well as watching my team grow and develop in their careers.
Outside of work, as an ex-professional dancer, I continue to enjoy dance, performance, teaching and makeup artistry, alongside gardening, reading and spending time with friends and family. My biggest career highlight to date has been working in a Care UK home that achieved an Outstanding rating in all five CQC domains.
What makes me most proud is seeing the whole home work together to ensure residents lead fulfilling lives and create new memories at Mildenhall Lodge. The most important part of my role is coaching and mentoring the entire team to deliver the very best care to our residents, relatives and visitors.
