Mildenhall Lodge care home provides the best personalised residential, nursing and dementia care for older people on a short-term or permanent basis.

Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level

other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

I have been a resident here for four years, all the care I have received has been great. The suite staff are great, we are treated with respect and dignity whether male or female staff. Our nursing staff are very good. Our rooms and clothes are looked after so well and the food is really good. What
your staff do here is absolutely wonderful. Having been here in Mildenhall Lodge since 1966, I have wonderful contact with everyone.

Everything about Mildenhall Lodge Care Home is great, from the minute you walk through the door. admin and reception staff, the carers, cleaners and the guys in the kitchen are all friendly, professional and it means I feel secure that Mum is in safe hands. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone. I
am glad that if Mum wasn't able to stay in her own home that she has moved to Mildenhall Lodge as she is happy, content, she's even putting weight on which is great as her appetite was poor when she lived on her own.
They keep her mind and body busy with daily, organised activities. I was very surprised how much better she was in everything when she first moved in.
Hairdressers, doctors and chiropodists visit the home and she is able to have lots of her treasured possessions with her in her room. It's the next best thing to living at home. Well done Mildenhall Lodge!

My mum went into Mildenhall Lodge Care Home six years ago and although it was a wrench moving from her own home and going into care, after an initial period of not being too keen to be there she relaxed and enjoyed the company. The staff are amazing and really look after the residents with compassion
and care.
I feel we were very lucky to have Mum staying in Mildenhall Lodge and I am sure she would agree with all I have said.

I previously visited a relation who was a resident in the care home; he loved spending time there and could not praise the people who worked there enough. When my mother was admitted into emergency respite, I was put at ease with how she was treated. The caregivers at Mildenhall Lodge are friendly,
caring and very supportive.

Having to put Dad in a home was a huge step. The staff at Mildenhall Lodge have worked hard with Dad to settle him in and adjusted his care according to his individual needs. They have supported him with care and compassion and communicated with me throughout to keep me updated.

We are very grateful to the staff for looking after our mum with excellent attention to her needs with dignity and relating to her with kindness and affection.
We realise that COVID has affected staff etc and admire how you have carried on.
It would be good if you could get advice from the stroke
and dementia care teams to help us focus on communicating and stimulating Mum.

Three members of staff, in particular, have been amazing over the past few months supporting my dad with health issues. The member of staff on reception is always very helpful.
Standards can drop a little when less experienced staff are on, but I guess we all, after all, start womewhere.

Even though the home has been locked down since July 2020. When we speak to mum on the phone (twice a week) she seems happy and settled. I think all the staff are doing a wonderful job and I trust them to look after mum, well-done everyone.
Of course, we are missing visiting her and we are hoping it's
not too much longer before we can see her again.

This care home has from the start, treated my mother-in-law with respect, care, understanding and diligence. After two years in residence, my mum-in-law has settled into her new home and I believe she has become part of their Mildenhall Lodge family. Her needs have been met, she always looks well dressed
in her own clothes, kept stimulated and been involved in the home’s activities.

They have been looking after my Gran so well, and we couldn’t be more thankful to the whole team there. It’s been difficult during the pandemic, but knowing Gran is so well looked after by people who love her makes it that little bit easier. Great place.

My mum was in Mildenhall Lodge for just under a year. Sadly it was her last year as she died in hospital a week before her 94th birthday. The care she received from all the staff at Mildenhall was exceptional. She was treated with love, patience, respect, dignity, and understanding. I would like to
pay special tribute to the staff on Lynn Suite who I cannot thank enough for everything they did for my mum. They took the time to get to know her as an individual and not just another elderly person with dementia and other health problems. Communication was excellent and we were always made to feel welcome when we visited from the minute we walked into the reception. There was a full activity programme and being able to keep up with events and news on their social media page was great. The food was always of a high quality and staff were happy to adapt meals. The cafe, dining rooms and corridors are all bright, clean and the environment inside and out is accessible and stimulating.

Mildenhall Lodge Care Home is an excellent care home. All the staff are caring and kind. From the management to the carers, cooks, cleaners, activities co-ordinators. It is a great reassurance to us as a family to know and see Mum is so well cared for. The carers looking after Mum have really listened
to us, the family and have taken on board the unique things that make our Mum, our Mum. At Christmas, she was taken to a carol service - that met Mum's emotional and spiritual needs. It's the little things that staff at the care home do for Mum that have given us real confidence that caring for the residents is at the heart of everything they do. The carers knowledge and expertise is clearly evident, and any health issue no matter how small is always flagged up to us - the family. Mum has a quality of care in Mildenhall Lodge looked after by a team of people that truly care. I would highly recommend this care home.

I am just writing to say I can't thank Mildenhall Lodge enough for the care they gave my father in the last months of his life. The care they gave him on Lynn suite was outstanding with all the care and dignity anybody could wish for. There's not one person that could be singled out because they were

I have nothing but praise for this home and Miller Suite. In the five months that my sister has been there, she has been shown care and concern of a high degree. Everyone from the receptionist, the maintenance man, the entertainment lady and the rest of an outstanding team.
On her recent birthday,
the kitchen made a delicious cake and everyone made a fuss of her. No wonder she has settled in so well. Thank you.

Job Title: Home Manager

I started working at Care UK in 2014 through an agency for Glastonbury Court.


I’m proud to have worked my way up, having started in the domestic team, then moving into care and a managerial position as a residential lead at Davers Court, and now Home Manager for Mildenhall Lodge.


I see managing a care home as a privilege. I am very passionate about my role and doing the best for the home, residents, relatives and colleagues. I believe that being open and honest, relatable, reliable and approachable to all groups is very important to achieve the best outcomes for all.


I love working at Mildenhall Lodge because of the challenge of my new role and I’m excited to build new relationships with the team and most of all the lovely residents and families here.


To be successful in this role you need to have patience, empathy, and an understanding of different residents, staff, and family members. You should be polite, always be there to listen and try and understand every situation through different eyes.


The best part of my job is seeing the residents happy, having fun and being able to live their lives the best they can.


A big passion of mine is football and I love to spend time with my daughter. We love to watch her dad playing football all weekend.
