Mildenhall Lodge

We are kept informed immediately of any incidents or changes in my mother's condition - an all-around excellent care home.

Very pleased. Three monthly meeting to discuss the resident's care plan, medication and behavioural issues would be a good idea, but not essential.

Entertainment is excellent and mum always enjoys partaking in it all. The various activities she enjoys thoroughly and the food is superb.

The care provided has been exceptional. We are happy to know that Mum is being looked after well in a nice environment and by very professional staff.

Mildenhall Lodge care home staff are so friendly and makes my brothers care the best it could be. I could not ask for a better home for him to be in, could not fault any of the staff. We looked at a number of homes and Mildenhall Lodge is the best by far. There is not one thing I could fault.

Mildenhall Lodge is always warm and welcoming with friendly and approachable staff. The amenities are fabulous and all would feel comfortable here.

Since Mum has been in Mildenhall Lodge, every aspect has been very good. She has been very well cared for. All the staff are so caring. The home is exceptional.

I can see very clearly why Mildenhall Lodge Care Home got 'outstanding'! I regularly visit a resident at the care home whom I am very close to. This care home has so much to offer, fantastic, friendly staff and management. Entertainment, care and support, wonderful food, which I have experienced. Cleanliness of the home and rooms are very good. A wonderful coffee shop to spend time with loved ones and friends, and dine with too. This is a lovely home to care for your loved ones or friends, so come in, have a look, everyone is made to feel welcome.

Good range of activities.

I am so pleased my husband came to Mildenhall Lodge. It's the best care home he has been in, the staff are lovely and kind to him as he has dementia. I can feel relaxed that he is in their care, no one wants your loved one taken away from home but to know I can see him anytime I want and he is happy. There is a lovely garden here, we can walk around which he likes to do, the other people that also are being looked after are nice to one another and are pleased to be together. I often stay and have lunch with my husband. It's a wonderful meal.

I have given a 'good' for management and safety/security solely because I don't know the inner workings. My dealings with Mildenhall in this vein appear to be very good. Management dealing with me personally have been good. I would say that during my visiting [end May to middle July] it was difficult to gain access after 5 o'clock (PM) as there was no-one on the front desk and ringing the bell produced no response. Other 'visitors' let me in.

The standard/care/facilities/meals and so on are top notch.

Neighbours of my father, friends and relatives all report the same and think the Mildenhall Home is marvellous.

The care of my father is wonderful. Everyone whom I have met has been understanding, caring and attentive. I know he is in the best hands possible.

I cannot speak highly enough about the staff at Mildenhall Lodge. From the speed with which Dad was assessed in hospital and admitted (4 days!) to the care and support he has received from day one, I have found everyone “goes the extra mile” for the residents.

Staff have taken the time to get to know Dad to ensure he is happy and his needs are being met and I have the peace of mind he is being well looked after. They keep me very well informed of any issues and have been a tremendous support to me as Dad makes the difficult transition from living independently to living in a Home.

There is a warm, friendly, welcoming atmosphere from the moment you step into the Home and everywhere is light and spacious.

The food is excellent, there is a varied menu and the chefs are more than happy to cater to individual needs. The Activities Organiser offers a wide range of activities and is always looking for new ideas to engage residents.

Dad could not be in a better Home!

At a time when my Uncle needed care due to the onset of dementia, the support my family were given by Mildenhall was outstanding. It made a very difficult time more bearable and filled us with confidence that our beloved uncle was going to get the best care possible. Since being at the home he has settled well and nothing is too much trouble for the dedicated team that work there. It was the best decision we have ever made and we cannot thank the staff enough for their unconditional efforts to provide a first class service all round.

It is good to see her happy and smiling, especially when she pops up in the photos of the homes facebook page. A special mention must go to the 'Canine Relations Manager' who always welcomes our dog Tilly when on her visits to see mum...It is a lovely home for mum and a pleasure to see her there.

It is good to know Mum is in a safe place, where kind staff support and help her as needed but Mum still has some independence and choice. The staff also spend time with Mum and help get her involved with various activities which is great.

Everyone at Mildenhall Lodge truly cares.

The activities have also become an important part of Mum's care and it is so good to see her regain smile and enjoying herself.

All accolades to this fantastic team and all they have achieved are well-deserved.

Mum is very well now and that is due to the management and staff. Keep up the good work. My mum is doing great.
