The manager was very welcoming and gave an accurate and clear description of the care and facilities.
The staff were always pleasant and caring. The home was always clean and bright with no unpleasant smells. We were frequent visitors and the security was excellent.
Dad was only there three weeks but any problems were dealt with quickly and they seemed to treat their residents as individuals.

The cakes were very tasty too.

Great. My mother really enjoyed her stay. It felt more like a hotel than a care home. All the family was also made to feel really welcome. We will be back.

My Mum has been in Anya Court since the beginning of August 2017. We, the family are very happy with all aspects of the care home and in particular, the carers who are brilliant with my Mum. They show a lot of caring and love to my Mum. The cleanliness is brilliant at all times and the standards of service are great. The ambience is very homely.

My husband has been a resident at Anya Court for a month. He has dementia and severe mobility problems. I visit every day and we enjoy lunch together. His care throughout is excellent and I am made to feel very welcome. The whole care team dealt with a recent difficult medical situation in a most professional and caring manner. Staff levels appear to be too low on some occasions and lead carers need more time for consultation.

I have been a resident in this superb care home from 16/10/17 until 31/10/17. Both my husband and myself have been treated with the utmost respect when approached by members of staff. I will have no hesitation in recommending this establishment to any interested party in the future.

I visited Anya Court on an open day and was delighted by the greeting and courtesy I received. The care home was beautifully decorated and furnished, refreshments provided were excellent and the staff were all kind and caring. The garden was lovely and had obviously been planned to give residents the utmost pleasure - I particularly appreciated the chicken coop and the fence decorated with brightly painted, assorted garden tools, also the bowling/petanque area. In all, a thoroughly enjoyable experience - Anya Court certainly ticks all the boxes, first class!

The care that Dad had whilst in Anya Court was brilliant. I would go further and say that the love he had was brilliant. He always wanted to end his days at home, but sadly that was not possible. However, he said to me before he passed, that he must be in paradise with the attention he had. No better recommendation.

My friend has only become a resident recently and I am a frequent visitor. Unlike other care homes I have visited, this has the ambience of a hotel. The menus are varied and imaginative and are displayed in a way that adds to the hotel theme. The nursing care is excellent and problems are dealt with promptly, supplying extra equipment as required.

The activities are varied and stimulating and the 'Pink Ladies' do an excellent job in their support of the care staff. All the staff are cheerful and friendly and make visiting a pleasure - not a chore.

What a delightful home for our mother to live in. It is difficult to describe all the positive aspects of Anya Court in this short review. The staff, the facilities, the activities, the rooms, the food (and drink!), the grounds and hair/beauty therapy rooms are beyond exceptional.
The staff are friendly and caring, respecting the privacy and dignity of service users, whilst promoting independence where appropriate. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
I can honestly state that we can rest easy in the knowledge that our mother is receiving exceptional care.

We would not hesitate to recommend Anya Court.

My father has been a resident for 4 months and has blossomed since he's been in the home. He can walk so much better, is not in pain, is generally more healthy and is extremely happy. All the staff are very kind and caring an cannot do enough for Dad. The facilities and comfort are excellent and the staff take on board any suggestions and requests. We cannot thank then enough for the peace of mind that it gives us.

My friend, unfortunately, became very ill in December 2016. The care home staff acted quickly and efficiently in getting paramedics and looking after my friend sympathetically whilst waiting for help to arrive. I was informed as soon as possible. I have found all staff very kind and caring not only in dealing with my friend but also with me.

My darling Mum has Alzheimer's and the decision to move her into care was possibly the most heartbreaking and stressful decision I have ever had to make.

We chose Anya Court on a friend's recommendation and also due to the exemplary customer service. From my first initial phone call to the day Mum arrived I felt as though someone was holding my hand throughout the entire process. The care home itself is stunning, more like a hotel and level of empathy and compassion from everyone, there is second to none, from signposting relatives to care fees specialists to handing out tissues and comforting hugs their care extends to the whole family.

Mum has now been a resident for three weeks. In the first and second week, she packed her bags every day to go home. In the third week, she has regained her sense of humour and spends most of my visits chatting with her new friends!

If you are looking for a care home to cherish your loved ones then look no further, Anya Court is the best there is.

Finding suitable aftercare following major surgery was a very daunting prospect for me to face up to. My daughter insisted I must have the best care available if only for a short period of time. This proved to be correct. I always felt I was in the best place and help if required was available day or night. Thank you all. The staff were always helpful and friendly. They were not always confident with their talk. This gave me the impression that with more training and suitable supervision they could become a very good team.

Following my mother's death in Feb 2012 it became very apparent that my father was unable to cope for himself. He was diagnosed with dementia and we decided to employ visiting carers to his own home. This continued until October of this year, eventually leading to 24-hour care. Following several hospital visits, we reluctantly decided it was time to find full-time residential care. Dad moved to Anya Court in October 2016. His mental state has deteriorated further (he has lost his familiar reference points) however, there is an improvement in his general well being and much of his previous anxiety has gone.

Our experience with Anya Court has been excellent. They provide wonderful care to our mother with dementia. We would note however that the care at the weekend can be less efficient and caring. Staff seem more impatient and snappy with the residents. Also, we would like to see more comedy or old films shown in the main lounge as often nothing is going on and residents are just walking about as there is nothing to engage them. Activities that are provided are excellent. We feel happy and know that our mother is safe and receives good care.
