Having acted as a visitor/volunteer on numerous occasions since the home opened I am always very impressed with the lovely ambiance/environment as well as the friendly and helpful staff. It feels like a very welcoming home from home (to luxury standards) with the benefits of friendly and helpful social

This place is amazing. I have used their meeting room and all I can say is the service was amazing. There are plenty of drinks to choose from, both hot and cold and always a slice of cake.


The Customer Relationship Manager is an amazing lady who really does take pride in the place. As soon as you

walk through the door you are welcomed with a smile. I have had a tour around the facilities and this is a place where I could see myself when the time arises.


I would highly recommend Anya Court to anyone looking for a friendly, warm and welcoming place for their relatives.

My father went to Anya Court for two weeks respite care. He settled in well and thoroughly enjoyed the meals. All the staff were pleasant and caring, so thank you to you all. At the end of his stay, he seemed very relaxed and the break had obviously done him good. However he chose not to remain on
a full-time basis and for now, has returned home. If he changes his mind in the future we would be more than happy for him to return to Anya Court, assuming there is a room available of course.

My husband was transferred from an acute hospital to Anya Court. I am amazed at the progress my husband has made and he is recovering to a safe level and I feel happy he is in a stable and caring community. The other residents are charming. I feel I can talk to the nurses, they reassure me and I visit
as often as I like. The lifestyles team have been instrumental in my husbands recovery from reading the newspaper or talking to him about his life and family.

Friendly welcome. Immediately felt at ease.
Sometimes my relative became a little lost and needed more help with directions.
Also needed more encouragement to participate in activities which he missed because he said he didn't know about them or maybe had forgotten he had been told!
He enjoyed the
food and his friends that he made at the meal times. We loved the outdoor space and thought the gardens were spectacular.
All the staff without exception were cheerful, helpful and had amazing patience. We could not fault them. THANK YOU ALL.
Curtain hanging down in room made room look a little less 5 star than it had done on first inspection.

Professional and caring. Efficient and dependable. Care is standardised and of a high quality. My father is happy with his care. My experience of Anya Court has been generally good, the care staff are warm, kind and caring to residents and families, and try to treat everyone as an individual. The main problems I have experienced are with regards to my mothers spectacles (and previously teeth) getting lost. In fact I have noticed
that on the dementia floor, this is not just a problem for my mother. At one point she was wearing somebody else's glasses - could be dangerous.
I have also noticed that she was wearing a bra that didn't belong to her. More staff needed!

Mum has been treated with a great deal of respect and understanding following a very difficult period for all of us on losing my father. They have helped enormously in the transition for mum and us in seeing her settled into her new life at Anya Court. All the rooms both private and communal are beautifully
presented giving the home a lovely feel. Mum has started to participate in some of the activities that take place largely due to the encouragement and support of the staff. Thank you.

I stayed at Anya Court for 2 Weeks for respite care, between major surgery in hospital and going home. I was very weak and exhausted. Anya Court provided all that I needed, wonderful care and support in such happy colourful surroundings. There was nothing to criticize. The staff were all wonderful and
the residents so friendly. The only dislike I had was the cold bathroom (en suite).

The care offered to my father continues to be excellent. Nothing is too much trouble for the team and they are genuinely delighted when he makes progress. The team work extremely well together and the general atmosphere is bright and happy. They continue to be very supportive to me.

My mother stayed at Anya Court for restpite after leaving (short stay) hospital, because of the excellent care and facilities she decided to stay. As a family we are very happy that she has settled in so well, is well looked after and is safe and secure. It has been a big step for her as she lived independently

My mother has some very complex needs and all the staff at Anya Court were brilliant with her. Not only did they look after her extremely well but they also helped us to get the correct help for her from relevant healthcare professionals.

The care and attention that my mother received during her stay - May - October was excellent and supported her through an exceedingly difficult time. It is testament to the care and support that she is now back on her own living independently and celebrating her 86th birthday. My mother was resident
on the "nursing floor". My only constructive criticism would be that additional support staff cover would be beneficial early morning with residents rising and then going to bed.

This is my Mum's second visit to Anya Court. On both occasions she needed care for a period of 6-7 weeks, whilst convalescing from a fall and then an operation.
My overall impression is that Anya is more like a boutique hotel than a care home. All of the staff are absolutely fantastic. Their care and
attentive nature are second to none. Everyone has a smile on their face and always have time for both the resident and any visitors.

My first impression of the rooms and facilities was very good. The rooms are very nicely decorated and furnished. All of the staff were always very cheerful, approachable and also obliging. My mum was made very welcome which helped her to settle in quickly. The fact that my mum enjoyed her stay and

We have over the last three years been caring for my father's cousin giving her care and protection so she was able to remain in her own home. This summer she fell ill and was admitted to hospital. We were then informed four days before we were due to fly to Australia that she was being discharged.
My mother is a resident at Anya Court and as we are familiar with the excellent standard of care there as well as knowing the staff we asked if my cousin could be admitted tot he nursing floor. Knowing our time schedule the staff helped us with the documentation and welcomed my cousin when we were well on our journey. I had high hopes that she would still be in the home when we returned but it was not to be. Our two daughters visited on a daily basis and they cannot speak highly of all the care and help they received at this difficult time, as they were guided through the complexities of a bereavement. My cousin slipped away peacefully surrounded by love.

The staff have been kind and thoughtful and have dealt with problems quickly. They have been flexible to the needs of my two relatives to keep them safe and happy. There are plenty of varied activities in the home. The rooms are well equipped but rather small. My relatives would enjoy more outings if

First impressions were excellent and having seen many facilities I was not sure whether my impressions would continue, but they did. My dad looks very well, relaxed and cared for. Being able to continue to have his own room (lovely) space in his room I important for dad, but equally he is able (but
maybe not always willing) to partake in the varied and interesting activity programme. The home is well kept, clean (doesn't smell of urine!) and welcoming. The staff are lovely and seem genuinely happy in their choice of work.

Also leading an enthusiastic, motivated team to help deliver excellent relationship-centred care.


I am passionate about residents engaging in the lifestyle choices they had before coming into the home and building strong relationships based on trust.
