Mum moved to Anya Court at the end of June 2016 and since day one, the team there have been nothing but kind, caring and 100% supportive of Mum and me. The care Mum receives is without fault; she is looked after with compassion and dignity and all her needs are met. Moving Mum to Anya Court was the most difficult decision I have had to make but everyone I came into contact with did everything they could to make the transition as smooth as possible. Six months on and there are still difficult days as Mum continues to transition to life at Anya Court, but I know in my heart that she is in the best place. She has been allowed to retain as much independence as possible, which is great. There are lots of activities where Mum can join in and I know that she very much enjoys the entertainment. While Mum is a 'fussy' eater, the food is very good and there's always something on the menu she will eat! Thank you to everyone at Anya Court for everything you do.

Overall impression was very good, helpful staff and management. My dad has dementia so feedback is very limited. My sons visited him over the weekend he stayed. They said it was very good and the food was very nice. The only negative feedback is that the carousel to dispense his medication ended up being damaged and a new one had to be purchased.

I've visited Anya Court a few times and each time I have always been very warmly welcomed.

What has really impressed me each time is that the residents all look happy, stimulated and well cared for. There is always a buzz in and around the cafe where drinks and cakes are readily available. I've seen staff chatting away with residents over a jigsaw puzzle and everyone loves the delightful dog, Dillan. The decor is bright and cheerful just like the staff!

If I were to choose a care home it would definitely be Anya Court. It has a real "home from home" feel about it.

In my personal experience during visits to Anya Court, it is without doubt that the care of residents is at the very heart of what they do. It has a 'home away from home' ambiance about it. With refreshments quite literally 'on tap', regular entertainment and clean, not clinical! Communal areas that are most welcoming.
I found the gardens to be particularly peaceful and inviting, and I know that residents are encouraged to have an active role. Benches and areas provide sanctuary, and there is a discreet, respectful area with personalised pebbles for residents that have passed, which I found to be a very fitting tribute and way to remember loved ones.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Anya Court to family and friends

I have visited Anya Court several times and always received a warm welcome. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the facilities are excellent and the ambiance is wonderful. I especially love the cafe where residents and visitors can help themselves to hot drinks and home-made cakes. There is a cinema, which amazed me and I would love to live here (but I'm too young). Anya Court doesn't feel like a care home, it feels like a beautiful hotel - I can tell the residents are taken care of so well.

This place is amazing. I have used their meeting room and all I can say is the service was amazing. There are plenty of drinks to choose from, both hot and cold and always a slice of cake.

The Customer Relationship Manager is an amazing lady who really does take pride in the place. As soon as you walk through the door you are welcomed with a smile. I have had a tour around the facilities and this is a place where I could see myself when the time arises.

I would highly recommend Anya Court to anyone looking for a friendly, warm and welcoming place for their relatives.

My father went to Anya Court for two weeks respite care. He settled in well and thoroughly enjoyed the meals. All the staff were pleasant and caring, so thank you to you all. At the end of his stay, he seemed very relaxed and the break had obviously done him good. However he chose not to remain on a full-time basis and for now, has returned home. If he changes his mind in the future we would be more than happy for him to return to Anya Court, assuming there is a room available of course.

My husband was transferred from an acute hospital to Anya Court. I am amazed at the progress my husband has made and he is recovering to a safe level and I feel happy he is in a stable and caring community. The other residents are charming. I feel I can talk to the nurses, they reassure me and I visit as often as I like. The lifestyles team have been instrumental in my husbands recovery from reading the newspaper or talking to him about his life and family.

Friendly welcome. Immediately felt at ease.
Sometimes my relative became a little lost and needed more help with directions.
Also needed more encouragement to participate in activities which he missed because he said he didn't know about them or maybe had forgotten he had been told!
He enjoyed the food and his friends that he made at the meal times. We loved the outdoor space and thought the gardens were spectacular.
All the staff without exception were cheerful, helpful and had amazing patience. We could not fault them. THANK YOU ALL.

Curtain hanging down in room made room look a little less 5 star than it had done on first inspection.

Professional and caring. Efficient and dependable. Care is standardised and of a high quality. My father is happy with his care. Very reassuring to know that he is in the capable hands of such kind and compassionate staff. The physical environment is excellent. The food whilst prepared well and with a good choice may lack in quality of products used according to my father.

My experience of Anya Court has been generally good, the care staff are warm, kind and caring to residents and families, and try to treat everyone as an individual. The main problems I have experienced are with regards to my mothers spectacles (and previously teeth) getting lost. In fact I have noticed that on the dementia floor, this is not just a problem for my mother. At one point she was wearing somebody else's glasses - could be dangerous.

I have also noticed that she was wearing a bra that didn't belong to her. More staff needed!

Mum has been treated with a great deal of respect and understanding following a very difficult period for all of us on losing my father. They have helped enormously in the transition for mum and us in seeing her settled into her new life at Anya Court. All the rooms both private and communal are beautifully presented giving the home a lovely feel. Mum has started to participate in some of the activities that take place largely due to the encouragement and support of the staff. Thank you.

I stayed at Anya Court for 2 Weeks for respite care, between major surgery in hospital and going home. I was very weak and exhausted. Anya Court provided all that I needed, wonderful care and support in such happy colourful surroundings. There was nothing to criticize. The staff were all wonderful and the residents so friendly. The only dislike I had was the cold bathroom (en suite).

My mother stayed at Anya Court for restpite after leaving (short stay) hospital, because of the excellent care and facilities she decided to stay. As a family we are very happy that she has settled in so well, is well looked after and is safe and secure. It has been a big step for her as she lived independently until she came to Anya Court.

The care and attention that my mother received during her stay - May - October was excellent and supported her through an exceedingly difficult time. It is testament to the care and support that she is now back on her own living independently and celebrating her 86th birthday. My mother was resident on the "nursing floor". My only constructive criticism would be that additional support staff cover would be beneficial early morning with residents rising and then going to bed.
