After Mum's fall and time in hospital, Anya Court gave her a superb place to live whilst she gained confidence in her ability to walk with her frame again. It also gave her family peace of mind to know she was in very good hands while a stair lift/ visiting care/meals have been arranged at her own home. Thank you so much to carers and the staff.

Anya Court was the first time my mum had been in a nursing home and we were worried, as a family, as to whether it would be beneficial for her but we needn’t have worried. Her stay and the staff were fantastic. Mum was so well looked after, always treated with dignity and we felt confident for her safety and well-being. In fact, mum thrived!
I or a member of my family visited at different times almost daily and all staff from all departments showed consistent professionalism, care and friendliness.
The home was beautifully clean and the décor very attractive. The facilities are well maintained and extensive.
There were lots of social gatherings and activities for her to attend but mum was free to choose whether she wanted to join in.

We definitely made the right choice selecting Anya Court and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to other families or individuals.

My mother needed a period of respite when my father went into hospital and I was pleased that I had visited Anya Court 6 months before as they accepted my mother at very short notice, which was extremely helpful.

First impressions are excellent as the building is well designed and well maintained. During my mum’s stay, the staff at all levels were caring and extremely kind and helpful. She quickly got into a good routine and was always ready and waiting for any visitors. The gardens were great and she enjoyed being outside in the sunshine. The meal staff laid up a table in the sun and we enjoyed being spoilt by them.

Many thanks to all the staff for their patient and caring attitude.

My mother was a resident at Anya Court for over 4 years. My brother and I made the decision to move her to a home in Pembrokeshire to be nearer family. It was a difficult decision as she was so settled at Anya court and I knew it would be almost impossible to find anywhere on a par with the luxury she had become accustomed to!
Throughout her stay, I never had cause for concern on any level. ALL the staff, from management to reception, to the carers and nurses and housekeeping, were all wonderful.
I've made friends with other relatives and staff and I know I'll miss Anya court. My mother has settled very well in Wales and a new chapter in her life has begun.

Thank you doesn't seem enough but I really do mean thank you all for your kindness, good humour and loving attention you gave my mother.

The pride in the level of care that exists at Anya Court was evident from the moment we first met the manager right through until the final day of respite care. There was a clear view that the individual resident mattered as a person and not simply as a customer. The level of day to day care and interaction was impressive and consistently so. The facilities are also first class.

As a Family, we have been very grateful for the expertise and nursing care my Father received at Anya Court. The staff are well trained and motivated, which reflects in their practice. Standards are adhered to, and Residents and families feel safe. Anya Court is well managed. I have already recommended Anya Court to a family in Rugby looking for nursing care and reassurance.

Visited Anya Court to see a friend and to consider the suitable facilities for my Mother and Father-in-law.

The initial first feel, was of a welcoming 5* hotel, smiling receptionist, the 50's style diner had residents and family enjoying drinks and a great view of the garden.

The overall feel was very clean, light corridors, beautiful rooms and a well maintained, friendly atmosphere, smiling staff and no odour associated with some establishments.

My elderly relatives have all spent their golden years in homes, Anya Court has been by far the best.

The main care advisor met us in the diner and answered many questions, giving us advice and showing empathy to our future situation.

It’s a very difficult situation when choosing where you wish to live your final years and selling a home or moving to another area can be stressful, however, I would recommend visiting with no preconceived ideas and an open mind.

You will not be disappointed.

Overall Experience
Anya Court was a breath of fresh air when first opened 2014. Obviously, as a new purpose-built home you expect it to look clean and nice with good facilities but it does have features which make it stand out from the rest locally (with a price tag to match).
The café is a great place for residents/relatives to get together over a drink and cake. Superb treatment room and hair salon and gardens are great for residents, especially in summer where you can sit under the huge parasols. Gardens were a bit tired last year but new lady gardener now on top of it.
There have been issues under previous management and high staff turnover has caused some problems, but the current management is turning things around. Whatever the issues though, the staff are generally very friendly, caring and helpful.

Regular separate resident and relative meetings are held and well attended with lively discussions. From our experience of the independent living floor, we are very happy with our relative's care.

My mother has been a resident at Anya Court for just short of a month now after we took her from another care home as we felt and know she wasn't receiving the care and support she deserved. So we arranged a meeting and a look around Anya Court and have to say we were very impressed with the whole package and knew that my mother would be happy there too.
It's taken her a while to settle as we expected with moving her again and the change. But have to say she looks so much better and is eating plenty as the food is just amazing and she has started to interact with the other residents which she wasn't doing before, she wasn't even getting out of bed or getting dressed. But now she's up dressed and having meals the majority of the time in the dining room with the other residents which is great to see.

All I can say is a big thank you to all the caring staff because without them my mum would still be feeling lonely and sad.

Staff have shown a sensitive awareness of dads medical and emotional needs since he moved into Anya Court. They have made efforts to get to know him and we are prepared to stop and chat and reassure him when necessary. Dad increasingly forgets these interactions so I am particularly pleased that I can feel confident that staff keep us his family in the picture and are aware of our needs too!

I feel my mother is happy in Anya Court because there are many activities for her to join in particularly singing together.

The staff engage with her and ask about her. She seems to get many hugs and cuddles.

I was visiting on a Thursday and saw how she enjoyed singing and using tambourines and other musical instruments. The singing instructor/musician was certainly trying to engage all the residents in the room. I thought the lady leading the singing was excellent. My mother certainly enjoyed the experience.

My Mother, having made a previous visit to Anya Court, has now taken up full-time residence. In making this decision other care homes were considered locally but none demonstrated the friendly atmosphere of Anya Court. Nor did others have the facilities of a modern and well-planned facility. My Mother and all our family feel confident that the maximum care and attention are being made available in a happy and welcoming atmosphere.

I have been very satisfied with the level of care that we have received. My friend is well advanced in years and requires medical attention and has been made to feel comfortable and valued. It is the perfect situation for her to live as she chooses without being made to get up and ready at a particular time in the morning and she has medical treatment that fits in with her own daily routine.

Dad was only resident for a brief period on Cappella Way (November 2017 to January 2018) however, every day, the staff that cared for Dad strived to meet his every need and were always most welcoming to his family and friends and regularly kept us informed of Dads condition. The surroundings are delightful and always clean and the food nourishing and delicious. We would thoroughly recommend this Home.
