Our mum has been in Avalon Court since July 2017 and every hour of every day in that time has been of an outstanding level of care. The staff are your best asset! Indeed not only do they look after Mum they look after our whole family too. I find it difficult to think of any improvements you could make.

Avalon Court is a lovely home. There is a warm welcome when you arrive. All staff are very friendly. My nan appears very happy in the home and comfortable with the staff. The rooms are nice and big and always look clean.

Excellent. The staff are so caring, friendly and helpful. They have my aunt's needs foremost daily. They convey all relevant information as and when required. I never have to worry about my aunt's wellbeing which is a great relief. Ten out of ten for me.

Very helpful caring staff. Mum enjoys the activities and she has a lovely room. They all help her to maximise her choices. The entertainment is to a good standard and the meals seem tasty when I have eaten there.

Dad moved into Avalon Court in November 2020. All staff involved in his care have been amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and the love and personal care/support he has received has been exceptional. Reception staff and those organising events also deserve a shout out. Mum has been here for over 5 and a half years. She has always received very good care and staff have shown a real affection for her. She is now on palliative and is being well cared for.
Just on occasions, we have had to remind staff that we have asked for regular updates re Mum's condition.

Overall, we have been very pleased with the care Mum has received. However, we have not been kept informed as much as we would have liked regarding her up to date health and any changes. Apart from this, I have been satisfied.

Covid has made choosing residential care for a much-loved relative very difficult and distressing. My mother only moved there 10 days ago and the staff were so helpful, welcoming and understanding. The small part of the building that I saw, looked exactly as the video on the website. It is like walking
into a smart hotel reception area.
My mother has had to isolate for 14 days, which has been hard but her carers appear to be helping her through this time. Until the phone provider can connect her phone, mum has had several phone calls from friends and family and the home have allowed her to speak to whoever has phoned.
Avalon came highly recommended from past users families and I am very hopeful that it will live up to expectations, once she is allowed to mix with people and join in some of the activities. I would be happy to review again in a few months time.

My mum was such a special lady and had been looked after by my dad for many years until he passed away 13 years ago. After a while, Mum grew a new lease of life and we started to rebuild our lives. We went on many family holidays and she spent some lovely times with all of her family.
Sadly 3.5 years
ago my Mum developed Macular Degeneration which led to her being very depressed and feeling very isolated. After some very difficult periods, Mum finally became a resident at Avalon Court. My mum loved to dance, she was able to dance every day, she enjoyed craft making, she made friends, her appetite returned, it was just wonderful to watch my beautiful Mum enjoy life again.
Sadly Mum passed away in June 2020 - but she had 3.5 years of unbelievable kindness and care at Avalon Court where she felt happy and loved - the best gift you could have ever given to my mum.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts every single one of you.

I received 2 weeks respite care. With a mixed age, mixed ability that cares for all. This is a care home that provides for a real mix of abilities. It has given me the strength to get back to living at home following the death of my wife to Parkinson's.

In my opinion, Avalon Court is a wonderful care hotel. To my mother, it is her home. My mum has been a resident for nearly two years and has been cared for beyond our expectations. Her 100th birthday party was the pinnacle of her year, all arranged and supported by Avalon Court. She enjoys the care

I have nothing but praise for Avalon Court in Coventry. They have helped make my mum's difficult situation better. They have been amazing. The staff are all marvellous and caring. My mum has settled in extremely well and is loving all of the activities. It truly is a fabulous care home.

I have over 28 years of experience working within the healthcare sector. I have worked for Avery from 2015, becoming the Home Manager in November 2020.


It is a pleasure to work with such an amazing staff team. I also feel incredibly fortunate to work with our fabulous residents. Making a daily difference to the residents that we support, makes my role worthwhile.
