My mother enjoys her experience here. She has made new friends and participates in most of the activities. Staff are friendly and caring.

I would personally like to thank the staff at Avalon for their care and support during my granddad's final days. The scenery and the environment was 1000% time better than suffering in a hospital.

We even had the service to his funeral at the care home. This gave the staff their opportunity of showing their respect.

I do think this is the way forward...having the service and wake at the care home as the atmosphere is more relaxed.

The service was excellent, well organised and the food was fantastic. I would recommend this care home to anyone.

My cousin moved to Avalon Court in February, and the improvement in her has been amazing. The physio and his exercise class have given her much more mobility. The entertainment team makes sure she is always entertained and loves to join in. The food is not only varied, and nutritional but also very tasty and beautifully presented. The staff and management are all friendly, caring and very patient. They keep us informed at all times about her health and well being. I cannot praise them enough and would highly recommend this care home.

Avalon is so unlike the perceived view of a care home. People are treated with respect and compassion and when my time comes I would like to end my days in a place like this.

Fantastic place the care is excellent. My father was a resident here and the care he received was amazing and kind I could not fault it. Lots of daily activities that my father enjoyed taking part in.

Sometimes when I have either a personal problem or I need to speak to a senior member of staff about an elderly resident there is no one to relate to and confide in.

Avalon Court has excellent facilities, the carers are very professional and patient. Nothing is too much trouble for them and the nursing station has well trained, knowledgeable staff. Any issues they pick up on, medical they contact Dr's when necessary. They are efficient in arranging Ambulance transport for appointments. Reception staff are professional, smart and efficient and deal with residents and their families equally.
