I love the peace that Avalon Court gives me and my sister and brother.


Mum has such a great time dancing, singing and generally being at home in her "5star hotel".


The staff are wonderful and the care is the very best I could ever hope for.

Avalon Court has excellent facilities, the carers are very professional and patient. Nothing is too much trouble for them and the nursing station has well trained, knowledgeable staff. Any issues they pick up on, medical they contact Dr's when necessary. They are efficient in arranging Ambulance transport
for appointments. Reception staff are professional, smart and efficient and deal with residents and their families equally.

Totally fantastic - my dad has been here a year and now my father in law is here too. You can come at any time of day or night and the standard of help, care, friendliness and helpfulness is always the same - outstanding!

The home have been fantastic at settling mum in. They offer an extensive range of trips and activities and work hard to include all the residents. I think this really enhances the resident's lives. The pre-school group with residents is a fabulous idea and mum enjoys their visits.

Had a great afternoon on mum's 83rd birthday. Avalon put on a singer and handed her a birthday cake, made her feel very special. She had a great time dancing the afternoon away with family and staff.

My mother's lack of confidence has deteriorated over the last 12 months and after persuading her to move into a nursing home, she has settled extremely well and made a lot of friends. Mum is a very sociable person who loves the company and the entertainment facilities are brilliant at Avalon Court.

I am very happy with Avalon Court Care Home, more importantly, my mother is even happier. The level of care, kindness and attention is greater than I ever expected. She has settled in so well and she calls it her home. All of the rooms, lounges and en-suites are furnished to the highest standards just
like a high star rated hotel. All the staff and carers are exceptional and always have a smile not only for the residents but visitors as well, nothing is to much trouble for them. Last week mum had her hair styled in the salon, then had coffee and biscuits with us in the bistro. After lunch, a trip out in Avalon Court’s minibus to a garden centre and had hot chocolate and marshmallows. What a delight to see my mum full of smiles. Such a professional attitude from everyone involved in the way Avalon Court operates.

I came here to Avalon Court for eight weeks respite. The staff are wonderful, very friendly and helpful. It has been a very comfortable stay and the care home is nicely furnished.


Entertainment overall is very good.


I was here at Christmas and New Year and the decorations are beautiful.

Staff are very kind and polite. Cannot knock the care and support they have given my mum. They made her feel at home as soon as she got here. Will recommend Avalon Court to anyone that asks. Activities that are put on are great and they get everyone involved.

When dad's health deteriorated to the point he needed residential care it was a very upsetting time for him and his family. We were all at a real low point. From the very first time we entered Avalon Court's beautiful reception and were welcomed by the warm, kind, caring, knowledgeable and professional
staff. Dad's life and the family's too has settled in the best way possible, to feeling safe, reassured and not so frightening. We cannot praise or thank Avalon Court enough.

My mother has been in several times for respite care and we could not ask for a better place for her to stay. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are spacious, the meals are excellent and cater for her special diet. Cannot fault the cleanliness of the whole home. Would highly recommend.

I have been delighted with the way Mum has been cared for in Avalon Court Care Home. The staff have been patient and supportive - her physical health has improved due to the excellent food and she has joined in many of the activities offered. Mum has also made good friends with the other residents.


We

were lucky enough, on our last visit, to join in with a physical activity session led by the resident physio. It was brilliant - even the residents who had been reluctant initially came away smiling. What a tonic!

I have visited my wife every day during the past five months and have found the staff always welcoming, cheerful and helpful. I am very satisfied with all aspects of care she has received. We like the purposeful and spacious design of Avalon Court. From bedrooms, large restaurants and also the large
lounge and bistro. The pleasant and colourful garden which facilitates a wide range of entertainments and activities. The self-service kitchen provides drinks in house cakes and scones and fruit. Avalon Court must be one of the best.

I have over 28 years of experience working within the healthcare sector. I have worked for Avery from 2015, becoming the Home Manager in November 2020.


It is a pleasure to work with such an amazing staff team. I also feel incredibly fortunate to work with our fabulous residents. Making a daily difference to the residents that we support, makes my role worthwhile.
