Netley Court is a purpose-built residential care home set in the heart of the village of Netley Abbey and sitting right on the waterfront giving stunning, waterside views that provide residents with a calming and relaxing outlook. With easy access to major road networks, a convenient train station, excellent service by buses and a generous on-site car park, it is easy and convenient for family and friends to visit.

The spacious and practical bedrooms combine lovely furnishings with the latest design features that make independence a genuinely achievable goal and all come with a large, well designed and enabling en-suite wet room. Along with a belief that couples should to continue their life journey together, Netley Court also offers specially designed couple suites where fantastic care teams can provide care and support both individually and as a husband and wife.

The home delivers specialist dementia support, with residential care in separate specialist areas, through their own highly trained and dedicated teams. The key to all they do is a focus on dignity, personal choice and independence; all of the residents are encouraged and supported to do all they can for themselves. It is clear in all that they do, every resident, every day, gets the care comfort and companionship that they and their loved ones would wish for.

Netley Court Care Home was ideal for what my friend was in need of at the time. The care she received was very good and helped her on her way to full health. She did not want to leave her room and join in on the activities but from what I witnessed they were good. She enjoyed the views and the garden

I feel there could have been a lot more information about how the home is run and the different ways I now know we can keep in contact. At the onset dad needed more help with his personal care; did the staff not see this? The laundry has been a problem. One person available to contact would have been
preferable. The staff seems very busy maybe a time slot could be given? So many email addresses. After six months we now see how the home is run it would have been useful to know more at the onset there has been some frustration. There are aspects of care and human interaction which appear to be very nice - a good atmosphere. The garden is a great place the decor inside is fine. The phone system seems problematic. Is there a need for more staff?

I was so pleased my mother enjoyed her two week respite stay at Netley Court Care Home. All the staff were very friendly and made you feel welcomed. The two weeks stay gave mum a new lease of life with the daily activities and the company of other residents. The facilities at Netley Court were excellent.

This is my third visit to Netley Court Care Home. I have had two respite care visits after major surgery and one for a Christmas Break. I have always found the facilities first-class with a professional and caring staff. It is a luxury care home providing first-class service. The Admissions Advisor
is an asset to this company and should be recognised as such.

My dad became a resident at Netley Court back in January following the sudden passing of my mum. I had concerns at first because he was moving so far away from his home in Yorkshire and the things that he knew and loved. But he's close to my sister and her husband, and this is a real help. I should
not have doubted anything. From the moment Dad arrived, the staff have shown him so much care and respect and helped him get over the passing of Mum. Dad is constantly singing the praises of the staff and the homely feel that surrounds him. There are so many activities going on, and this really helped him with his dementia, and he truly seems to have settled into a routine that suits him. His room is very comfortable with everything that he would need, and the food he receives is constantly first class.

When my mum passed away suddenly before Christmas we were left with a dilemma about the care of my dad. They lived in Yorkshire, we live in Southampton. After lots of consideration, we decided moving him south was the best option. That problem solved. Then came the bigger problem. The right care home
for Dad to get the level of care and attention he was getting at home from carers and my mum. We wanted him to be comfortable, safe, cared for and in a special way ‘loved’. I am so happy that my husband found Netley Court Care Home. It certainly ticks more boxes than I had listed. My dad is so happy, very relaxed and enjoying his days with his fellow residents. The staff are amazing and are constantly looking after Dad and all his needs. The feel of Netley Court isn’t of a care home but of an elderly person's first-class hotel. From the cosy entrance/reception to the en-suite colourful rooms. It really is first class. I rest at night knowing Dad is in the safest most comfortable place.

Both our parents live at Netley Court, moving in at different times for different reasons.
The staff worked fantastically with us all to achieve the best set up for them with their rooms, easy safe access to the garden and sea views, their own furniture etc.

When dementia got too much for Mum to live at home anymore, we chose Netley for her as her new home. When we came to have a look around first of all, the staff seemed so friendly, kind and caring. They wanted to know about Mum as a person. We loved the activities timetable every week and nearly got
run over in the stampede for their daily Happy Hour. I asked why there weren't many people in their rooms - the answer - we like to get them involved in what's going on. This has turned out to be so true. The rooms are bright and spacious and it's in a fabulous location. Next month Mum has been in Netley for two years and it was definitely the right decision for us. Mum is so happy. She is always saying how lovely everyone is that looks after her.

My mother has been a resident at Netley Court for over two years. We compared with several other care homes in the area, but the family’s decision was unanimous, based on the quality of the facilities and location - overlooking Southampton Water and close to Victoria Country Park. She is happy with
her sunny room and very appreciative of the kindness and care she receives from all the staff and carers. We take comfort that she is happy and well cared for at Netley Court.

Since visiting my mother-in-law daily for 2-3 weeks I have been most impressed with the care and attention she received. Everyone we interacted with was approachable and offered assistance with reassurance and understanding. I think you have the right formula at Netley Court as all the staff seemed
to be happy in the workplace. I loved seeing the way staff engaged with the residents as well as offering support to family members as well. Excellent work and many thanks for looking after my mother-in-law.

I manage the running of Netley Court to ensure we provide high-quality, individual care in a nurturing, engaging environment so that our residents can live happy and fulfilling lives. That joy for life spills over into their fun and lively personalities that give constant pleasure, not just to me but to my team too.


My experience:
With over 20 years of experience in a variety of care management roles, I am delighted to return to looking after residents. I hold a Registered Manager’s award and a City & Guilds teaching certificate.


About me:
In my spare time, I love getting out into the outdoors with my dog, spending time with my family, eating out, and reading.

What I Do:
I joined Cinnamon, as Deputy Manager at Netley Court, in May 2023. I work beside the General Manager as part of the management team who makes sure that both residents and staff members are safe and well looked after. My role is to ensure that every resident in Netley Court receives high-quality care which is well deserved.


My Experience:
I have worked in the Care Sector since 2012 when I started my journey as a Care Assistant. In 2019 I completed my Bachelor of Science Degree in Health, Community and Social Care Studies. Working with and for people who live with dementia has always been my passion. I would like to think that I am making a difference in residents' and families' lives by supporting them and fulfilling their needs.


About me:
I am originally from Poland. I love to go back there for a holiday and spend some quality time with my family and friends. My lovely partner and I have a daughter who is my complete world. I am a big pet lover. I have 2 cats Elsa and Biscuit. I love good food and dinner parties.

I started my culinary career aged 15, working on the Isle of Man after college. I’ve cooked for the army, prepared regimental dinners, and worked in Dubai at a five-star hotel and on cruise liners. In London, I cooked for royals, government ministers, and celebrities. As a freelance chef for eight years, I specialized in kosher cuisine, helping a small company become the country’s leading kosher caterer. My experience includes cooking at the House of Lords, No. 10 Downing Street, and serving as a Head Chef at Harrods.

My role at Netley Court is to work with the Head chef, the activities team, and the housekeeping department to ensure that our residents and their visitors all receive the best hospitality experience during their time here.
Our aim is to provide the highest standards from a simple coffee and cake in the bar area to enhancing the dining experience.
I'll also be working closely with the housekeeping team and together we'll strive to make Netley Court a clean, comfortable, and fresh home for all of our guests and residents.
I have been working in the catering, hospitality, and care industry for over 30 years now. During my time I have enjoyed experiences in various hotels and restaurants around the world. More recently I have worked in both contract catering roles and the care industry. I have experience in head chef roles, catering management roles and overseeing hospitality.
