Kingsbury Court Care Home is a 2015 addition to the Maria Mallaband care home range, purpose-designed to offer three separate floors for residential, nursing and dementia care practice.

All floors has its own dining room, lounge and activities area.

Residents can choose from spacious communal areas, dine in style and relax in en-suite bedrooms.

Kingsbury Court is in scenic surroundings and offers long and short-term care packages depending on requirements.

We were here for a birthday party for my husband's grandmother and it was beautiful! The staff did a wonderful job decorating and making the day special. They made a beautiful cake and it was so amazing!

Kingsbury is excellent. The staff are wonderful. We love going there, but there needs to be more training, for all things to do with changing urine bags so the urine does not spill! There is not enough car parking sometimes.

I am a friend of a resident and being in this care home is a big pleasure. On each visit, I have support from the staff. All the time they have smiles on their faces and are very helpful. Each small problem is solved and very quickly. Their job and duties are done to a very good quality. They are professional
at each point. Rooms are clean, and tidying up is done on each of my visits. There is water on the customer desk.

I can’t thank the staff at Kingsbury Court Care Home enough. My mum came for respite but I knew she had to stay, four weeks later she is now a permanent resident and is loving every minute of it! She found it hard at first but the staff made her feel well welcome. The activities are fab and my mum loves
looking at her chart to see what’s going on!

Myself personally have always been very well greeted on every occasion. My Mum seems happy, the staff have an endless task with some of the patients, they manage them with such professionalism. I could not be happier with the overall experience.

Mum has only recently moved to Kingsbury Court. She is on end-of-life care and after my visit today, I felt reassured that she will be extremely well cared for and made as comfortable as possible. Her room looks out into the garden even though she can't go out there it's nice she can at least see it.
All the staff that I have met were kind, helpful and very cheerful. I am very happy for Mum to spend her last days at Kingsbury Court.

I have been visiting a friend who only came to Kingsbury Court in November. I was also part of a group that came to sing carols so I am unable to give my opinion in some areas. The staff are always helpful and pleasant and my friend's room is very nice.

I would like to thank the staff on the first floor, working today (14th November) especially, for their friendliness and care of my resident.
All staff are extremely good but sometimes events mean that staff go that extra mile and their help today with my resident was fantastic. Before and after a
hospital appointment.

My friend has only been a resident for four days so I can only give first impressions.
Reception staff are so welcoming to me - the coffee and pastries are much appreciated! Each visit I have received a very warm welcome.
The care staff on the first floor have all been kind and helpful.

staff have made the room homely by getting pictures up quickly - so important, toilet raise found immediately.

Every time I have visited my nan, I have found the staff super friendly and cheerful. It was my nan's 102nd Birthday back in May and the staff made her a lovely Birthday cake and put up her Birthday cards and balloons up for her and gathered some relatives to help to celebrate her milestone. Thank you
to everyone for caring for my nan and doing such a lovely job.

I have visited my brother 3 times this week and very happy that he is in a secure comfortable place.

The caring staff are brilliant, three members in particular, who I see most often. Mum really enjoyed the trip to the garden centre recently. She has also participated in painting and keep fit. My only concern is that things go missing: a throw, 2 pairs of slippers, wine glasses - all purchased and
provided for Mum's comfort. I get upset having to look for or ask for things to be found. However, overall Mum receives good care.

Job Title: Home Manager

Hi, my name is José and I began my career in healthcare as a Paramedic in Portugal. I was please to progress into elderly care specialism when I came to England in 2014 and now have a wealth of experience in the care home sector as a Registered Nurse.


My experience has focused on delivery of resident care through leading and supporting my teams in high quality. I have a passion for coaching and mentoring and I love the opportunity to nurture skills with the team and individuals that I am privileged to work alongside.


My management style is to ensure that all we do is very much with a proactive approach and ensuring resident focus, wellbeing, safety and care is at the forefront our delivery and that we meet our clients, resident and families expectations.


I thoroughly enjoy the ongoing relationships I build with our residents and their families to provide a holistic whole home approach to care and to know I can offer families peace of mind in knowing their loved one is well cared for.
