Kingsbury Court Care Home is a 2015 addition to the Maria Mallaband care home range, purpose-designed to offer three separate floors for residential, nursing and dementia care practice.

All floors has its own dining room, lounge and activities area.

Residents can choose from spacious communal areas, dine in style and relax in en-suite bedrooms.

Kingsbury Court is in scenic surroundings and offers long and short-term care packages depending on requirements.

Kingsbury Court is a very comfortable care home. It is not the cheapest by any means but overall you do get what you pay for. Food and drink, in particular, is excellent and always has been from day one. Over the years the care and support has been lacking in some areas, but at this time it is improving.
My friend is extremely happy to be living at Kingsbury Court.

My mother came to Kingsbury Court in February 2019. She had a lovely spacious room. She was well looked after until she passed away on the 7th August. I have high praise for the staff and the manager. I would highly recommend Kingsbury Court.

Apart from the initial concern about not knowing about our booking, my husband's stay was great. The staff were lovely. The room was lovely. However, due to the nature of the floor, the staff were flat out looking after other residents with severe dementia, therefore my husband was not walked around
and it was also very, very hot. Consequently, he was very weak when he came home.

My father was admitted to Kingsbury Court initially as respite care. However, it soon became clear he needed a permanent care package. All the staff from carers to management were very kind, compassionate, and considerate during my father's short time there. They were respectful of his needs and tried
to make his end of life as comfortable as possible. I would be happy to recommend Kingsbury Court.

The care and compassion that my mother has received from all the staff at Kingsbury Court has been excellent and when compounded by the challenges of Covid-19 I am somewhat in awe of their commitment to care for the residents. From the people who man the reception to the carers, food preparers, cleaners,
activity coordinators, and management they have all played their part in making my mother's residency a pleasurable one. The home is exceptionally clean and the grounds well maintained so when the weather allows, it is a pleasure to be outside. I would without any reservation recommend Kingsbury Court Care home.

Mum has been at Kingsbury Court for one year now, and I have been very happy with her care. Although she has vascular dementia, she is made to feel as though she is part of a family, and all the carers I have come into contact with are very kind to her, which gives me tremendous peace of find and that

I couldn't wish for a better home and care for my mother. I used this home a few years ago for a close family relative and when I needed to get my mum into a home last year I didn't look anywhere else. It's exactly what I would expect the staff are amazing and so kind they care for the families of residents
and support them too. My mum is very happy in this home and I am happy knowing how well she is being looked after. Nothing is too much trouble for them and I thoroughly recommend this care home.

My mother, aged 94 was transferred to Kingsbury Court once it became clear that she needed full-time care, particularly given her advanced level of dementia. The admission process was straightforward but I reserve my praise for the staff, who were simply excellent. Caring and patient as you would expect,
but with an extra level of sensitivity that set them apart that Mum appreciated and that reassured us. Excellent reception staff as well.

My aunt has been a resident at Kingsbury Court for six months. She looks so much better than she has done for some time due to the care and attention received. It was her 90th birthday recently and all the staff made it very special for her and other residents. We appreciated the lounge and dining area
were made available for the occasion. Suggestion, perhaps a notice board with photos of parties, outings, activities could be put up for residents and visitors to see.

Job Title: Home Manager

Hi, my name is José and I began my career in healthcare as a Paramedic in Portugal. I was please to progress into elderly care specialism when I came to England in 2014 and now have a wealth of experience in the care home sector as a Registered Nurse.


My experience has focused on delivery of resident care through leading and supporting my teams in high quality. I have a passion for coaching and mentoring and I love the opportunity to nurture skills with the team and individuals that I am privileged to work alongside.


My management style is to ensure that all we do is very much with a proactive approach and ensuring resident focus, wellbeing, safety and care is at the forefront our delivery and that we meet our clients, resident and families expectations.


I thoroughly enjoy the ongoing relationships I build with our residents and their families to provide a holistic whole home approach to care and to know I can offer families peace of mind in knowing their loved one is well cared for.
