Growing up in Romania and inspired by my mum who worked in the nursing profession, my dream was to become a nurse. After graduating nursing school in 2013, I took the next steps and applied for my first RGN position in the UK. I then progressed to Clinical Lead and Deputy Home Manager, and finally to Home Manager.
I enjoy all aspects of managing a care home, including making it homely for my residents and offering personal care based on individual needs. It is important to me to support my staff to develop and succeed in their roles. I feel very privileged to be in a role which gives me such fulfilment and enables me to bring my knowledge, experience and skills to my team.
Our residents have a wide-range of personal interests and this is reflected in the activities we offer and the personal touches you will find around the home. Our community here is warm and welcoming. I would welcome anyone to come for a tour and I look forward to introducing you to all we have to offer at Ivy Court.
