Having visited my dear friend of forty-four years, I was reassured that the necessity to move into nursing care was fulfilled by this home. The staff were smiling and attentive, the decor beautiful and uplifting.
I can't answer management or cost because I don't know!

Since the day my brother became one of the residents of Chamberlain Court he has had superb care and attention. I couldn’t wish for better staff and surroundings. Whatever he asks for or needs they always do all they can to help. I couldn’t ask for anything better.

Mum has been a resident for the past three months and has Alzheimer’s. It has been so nice to see her genuine smile and to see her happy there. Before Chamberlain Court she was so restless and wandering constantly. We were surprised how quick Mum settled. The staff have been great. Very friendly and
caring and supportive. Mum has found a new love for crafting and colouring and made friends. The garden there is lovely and Mum loves going into the garden to see the fishes and birds in the aviary. There is always a buzz at the home and the telling sign is seeing the smiles of the residents and seeing them so happy. Friends and family who’ve visited Mum are always impressed with how lovely the home is, how clean and how friendly the staff are.

We are delighted at how well your mum has settled and made friends. She has a wonderful cheery nature and is a joy to be around.

My mother has been a resident since late July 2021.
I have been a very regular visitor and, on all occasions, have found the staff to be caring, helpful and utterly professional, both towards me and my mother. Knowing that she is so well-cared for gives me tremendous peace of mind.
There is a good
programme of activities for residents to take part in, should they wish to, and my mother has enjoyed many of these. The gardens are beautifully maintained and provide the opportunity to spend some time outdoors in better weather.

My mother has been in Chamberlain Court Care Home for respite care since August. The experience has been extremely positive, and my mother's mobility is certainly improving, thanks to the kindness, support and positivity of all the staff - nothing is too much trouble.
My mother is safe, secure and
happy - which is all I can ask for at this time.

My personal experience has been very positive with all the staff especially as we have had a very challenging time with my husband.
The care he has received has and is excellent at all times.
The atmosphere within the home is warm friendly and caring.
There are many activities for residents.
I can
stay in contact with my husband by social media and the phone.
There are always drinks and snacks available and the food is excellent (so my husband says).
I found this home from a recommendation this is why I’m writing this review.

I have known of five 'oldies' that I have recommended to go into Chamberlain Court Care Home over the past few years. Two people for respite care and three for full-time care. All of them have been extremely well looked after and loved being at the home. It is a very interactive home and there is always
some lovely activity to get involved in all of the time. You could also, if you want, just sit in the café and help yourself to a coffee, cake and a newspaper and sit quietly or even in the fabulous garden. I have always said to people who are looking for a care home for their loved ones, the most fundamental importance is the food, and Chamberlain Court's food is first-class. The care and nursing staff are also very good and kind to their residents. I would most definatly recommend Chamberlain Court to anyone who is looking for a care home for their loved one.

My wife and I visited my sister and her husband and were pleasantly impressed with the general atmosphere of this home. The facilities appeared to be constructive for a normal life and the staff were most helpful. The dining room menus made us feel quite hungry. Should my "wellbeing" deteriorate and
if I could afford it this home would be my first choice.

Court and I am so pleased that my mother was able to be a resident. A big thank you.

My father has dementia and is unsettled, no detriment to the staff or care whatsoever. He will say he doesn't like being there (he wants to be with my Mum) and he doesn't like anyone else who is staying there (though we know he chats to them). However, he always says how much he loves the staff and
how good they are. Dementia patients don't lie! Thank you all so much.

also feel welcomed and supported. Thank you to all involved.

My mother has now been at Chamberlain Court for nearly 2 years. The care and engagement with Mum, and the communication with me, throughout that time has been superb, even in some pretty dark moments - and despite having been constrained by Covid for more than half the period. Mum is, despite the ups
and downs and other distractions of the last 12 months, as comfortable and happy now as at any time in the last 2 years. I cannot thank all of those involved in looking after her enough.

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.884)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.884) out of 10 for Hallmark Chamberlain Court is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 22 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 22 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.884 for Hallmark Chamberlain Court is calculated as follows: ( (233 Excellents x 5) + (23 Goods x 4) + (2 Satisfactorys x 3) + (1 Poors x 2) ) ÷ 259 Ratings = 4.884
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Hallmark Chamberlain Court is based on 22 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 74 registered maximum number of service users is 14.8, which has been reached with 22 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
