My sister-in-law has tragically severe Frontotemporal disease and is incapable of self-care, speech or recognition. Despite this, the staff have looked after her with skill and compassion. Even to the extent of organising choral singers for her birthday, knowing her past involvement in choral singing at a high level.

My father went to Chamberlain Court in December 2023. He was made to feel very welcome as were my sister and I. He has enjoyed all the activities and the staff have been wonderful. Fortunately, he has been able to enjoy the area and has been on a number of long walks.

Dad has been a resident at Chamberlain Court for a year now and we couldn't be happier with the care he receives there. The staff are so kind, and friendly, always going out of their way to help. Dad thankfully hasn't lost his sense of humour, even with his dementia progressing, and we love that the staff are always having a laugh with him whenever we come to pick him up to take him out for lunch! There are plenty of activities throughout the day to keep residents busy, the home always has a lovely convivial atmosphere. Overall we feel like he's in a big hug of a home and, as hard as it always is saying goodbye to him when we leave, we're just so relieved to know he's in such great hands. Thank you to all at Chamberlain, we're forever grateful.

Mum moved in at the end of July 2023. All of the staff have been so lovely with her, caring and patient, but also fun. I’ve seen a definite improvement in her confidence and she seems much happier now she is settled. It’s a relief for me knowing that she is safe and well cared for.

My role as Customer Relationship Manager at Chamberlain Court Care Home in Tunbridge Wells enables me to meet with families and understand their care needs and current situation, and offer them a solution. I get to showcase our fabulous home and help prospective residents find their forever home.
