Ryefield Court is a beautiful purpose-built care home in Hillingdon that offers spacious care facilities within a luxury environment. The home's pricing policy is all-inclusive, which means a single weekly fee covers all care, all facilities and all events. This includes the heart of the home – which is a bar and bistro – fine dining and entertainment. It also includes delicious meals and snacks made freshly in the onsite kitchen using the finest local ingredients.

A team of professional and skilled staff are trained in the delivery of high-quality care to all residents, of all abilities, and all hospitality staff are trained to hotel standards. I chose this home for my mum using the carehome website and the reviews are spot on. The home is immaculately decorated and includes fantastic lounge areas, a cinema room and a fine dining room, all of which are amazing. The staff treat the residents extremely well and cannot do enough for them. The
food is excellent with a great menu selection. There are many events that take place both in and out of the home, which include a great selection of concerts.

My mum, who suffers from dementia, recently celebrated her 80th birthday. The team made sure she had a fantastic day - The chef created a 3-course lunch that was worthy of a 5-star restaurant, and the Manager and her team decorated the room and provided excellent service at all times. This and the team of carers ensured that my mum had a super day.

Overall the team go out of their way to make each residents' stay an exceptional one; I honestly cannot recommend Ryefield enough.

This residential home is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and managed. The whole team of staff are extremely caring and nothing is too much when it comes to the welfare of the residents. From management to carers and domestic staff, everyone does an outstanding job. The food is excellent,
which is down to the very talented chef and her team. I cannot recommend this home highly enough and hope my mother spends many more happy years there.

Mum has always received excellent care over the 12 months that she has been at Ryefield Court.
However, she celebrated her 90th birthday this month and the staff could not have done more.
Balloons, flowers, karaoke and even fish and chips in paper for dinner!
Just what she is used to.
Not to mention
a beautiful cake.

As soon as you walk through the doors you are welcomed by a receptionist, kind and friendly asked to sign in for security. The lounge is amazing, very well furnished, bright and inviting. The staff in the Bisto are very attentive and helpful. The management team are very professional but approachable.
The care given is superb. Medication is given on time. The food is good a varied. Activities are many. Overall five star review. Always staff around to chat to never left alone for long.

My mum has just spent a week at Ryefield Court Care Home and I have been amazed at the place. The staff were all brilliant. Very kind and helpful not only to my mum but to the family as well. They couldn't do enough for us. Always attentive and offering us food and drinks whenever we visited. The
care staff made sure mum was getting all the help she needed and was extremely well looked after. After a nervous 1st day or so mum seemed to settle in well and after a lovely family meal in the private dining room (all included in the price) on her last night, I'm not sure she wanted to come home again. I would highly recommend this home to anybody. Not cheap but how can you put a price on knowing your loved ones are being well looked after. Well done Ryefield Court!

Absolutely lovely home with lovely staff my mum's still getting used to the environment all new to her. Any problem is sorted out immediately if mum likes a cigarette and didn't like to ask to be taken out for one but that's all sorted. I can't express enough how fantastic this place and the staff are.
I forgot to mention the top class furnishings and furniture.

Having been in Spain when my mother became a resident I was unsure of what to expect. Although my brother had told me all about it, I needed to see for myself. I can truthfully say that I will return home to Spain happy that my mother is in the best place. The staff, facilities, food etc. Our whole
family have been welcomed as if we are family to everyone there, staff and residents. I hope that if I ever need a care home, one as perfect as this is available. I rate this a 5-star establishment. Thank you to all the staff for caring for Mum.

Oh my goodness what a wonderful place. Every care should be like this one. The people are so caring and always happy, willing to do anything they can for my aunt who is in there. For us, they make us feel special also and relaxed so it makes a lovely place to visit. I can only speak for myself. I like
to visit my Aunt as much as I can but in the school holidays, it makes it hard as I look after my grandchildren so that my daughters can work. In other care homes it is not always nice to take children in as some of the sights they saw were not right, but this care home gives people their dignity which makes it better for others, also especially children walking past, also its a much nicer environment for them to be in, for all of us to be in. As for the entertainment, what I have seen of it is amazing. My aunt, when she was in the other home just sat and looked at four walls all day and a tv - we would not get her to come out of her room. Now I am able to get her out and do some activities, then by that time it's time for her lunch and then more activities or entertainment. My aunt ahs it all at this home - its actually more like a hotel than a care home. I could go on and on. My husband and all my family think it is amazing. We could not praise it enough. Just wish it was like it for all the hard working people out there - they all deserve a place like Ryefield Court.

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.928)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.928) out of 10 for Ryefield Court is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 36 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 36 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.928 for Ryefield Court is calculated as follows: ( (402 Excellents x 5) + (29 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 432 Ratings = 4.928
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Ryefield Court is based on 36 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 60 registered maximum number of service users is 12, which has been reached with 36 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
