My friend was only with you for about six weeks sadly, but throughout that time she had the best of care and was given everything she could possibly have needed. The staff were delightful and showed great respect and kindness. When my friend passed away she was not alone as the staff had found another friend who could be with her. Also, thank you for making visiting easier by providing food and drink when it was an all-day visit.

My dad was 96 on the Sunday and a fantastic day, he had 12 family members at his party. It was wonderful, we had nibbles on arrival with drinks then we all sat down to a very nice meal. The food and the service was outstanding a singer was arranged which was a very nice touch. I would highly recommend Leycester House.

All the carers are very experienced, compassionate and treated me with absolute dignity.

Nursing staff are very knowledgeable and treated me with respect and dignity at all times.

My husband recently stayed at Leycester House for three weeks respite. It felt like a friendly, well run family hotel rather than a care home. As there is such a low turnover of staff, it was lovely that the same friendly faces were around him each day and night. He built up a really good relationship with all the carers who were all, without exception, friendly, experienced and compassionate.

My husband recently came to Leycester House. I have looked after him for many years as his carer. We were both upset at his needing other care. I felt the worst, I felt I had let him down. To my amazement and complete joy he has settled and is so happy and content. He is cared for, loved, reassured, gently encouraged by incredible staff and today (21/11/18) he actually said: "I love it here." This made me cry with joy, a very special place.

The care and attention at Leycester House is excellent. My parents were very well looked after in a lovely welcoming environment which is kept spotlessly clean. They enjoyed their time there and their health is improved.

We are very happy with my sister's care there is now such a lovely atmosphere. The manager is so approachable and caring and the staff are lovely. There is always something happening. If I ever have to go into a care home this is the one for me. So nice.

My husband has been resident at Leycester House for nearly 12 months. I have also stayed at Leycester House for respite care. We recently celebrated our 67th wedding anniversary at the home and had a lovely family celebration in the fine dining room. I am extremely happy with the love and care that my husband receives. Any queries we have are always answered and dealt with promptly and effectively. The facilities are wonderful.

For our very first visit to Leycester House, we knew that it was the right place. We received a very warm welcome and everyone looked relaxed and happy which made our decision very easy. The fondness and care shown to my husband from the whole team at Leycester House was extremely reassuring and comforting to the family at a very difficult time. We would not hesitate to recommend Leycester House to any family looking for a care home for a loved one and we do not believe they could be in better hands.

Mum was cared for by the nursing team until she passed away. The care and kindness of staff towards mum and us, her relatives was excellent. Mum was looked after in a way that meant she had the best levels of comfort and medical support. I feel the nurse in charge of the nursing team is really a great leader, professionally competent, deeply caring and calm. Thank you for all you did for mum and us. All of you.

Huge thanks to all for the wonderful birthday celebrations for my mother-in-law, done with such love, care and attention to detail - the whole team made it a perfect two days for her.
From first discussions with the Head Chef, everything went swimmingly. He paid attention to every detail and he and his team produced the most lovely lunch, including her favourite vegetables. The fish, perfectly cooked, with a superb accompanying sauce was enjoyed by all. To produce such a five-star meal for our large family while also attending to all your residents just demonstrates what a wonderful service you offer. And then a scrumptious buffet for 30 + people - many commented on the lovely spread and the great coffee.

The tables and the room for both events were so beautifully decorated too, with lots of lovely touches - and the cake! How clever, how thoughtful and how beautiful. Grateful thanks to the whole team for two very enjoyable and memorable days - it couldn't have been better.

We are so glad that we found Leycester House. My aunt has settled in happily and the staff are most caring and loving. The facilities are wonderful and we are always made welcome when we visit. A special thanks for a superb lunch party laid on for my aunt's 101st birthday. All the family were impressed by the clear, affection shown by the general manager and the rest of the staff.

This is a home/hotel rather than an old people's home. There is always a good vibe as soon as you come into the building. The home feels 'safe' and I never worry about mum now she is here. I am always made welcome. The facilities and food are fantastic and the guests are always made welcome too. Above all, the staff are super and on hand to help. Thank you.

We were introduced to Leycester House via the internet and made 3 separate visits to confirm our desire to ask the management to accept my terminally ill wife for 'end of life care' and transfer from the local hospital. It was, without doubt, the best arrangement possible, quiet charm, very attentive management and staff throughout. Every request was dealt with great empathy and the welcome, all inclusive tariff enabled us to eat together several times. This home is an absolute gem, setting such a high bar and winning in every way. It should be used as a standard throughout all health care systems.

Following a hip replacement, the Leycester House proved an ideal place in which to recover and have the, much needed, rest, also to regain some independence with the help of excellent staff. I enjoyed the meals, the chefs kindly catered for my dietary replacements. The general management was excellent, every need was addressed, the weekly bulletin with the entertainment to suit all and the encouragement to attend exercise classes! I found all the staff very helpful and nothing was too much trouble including 2 day trips to the hospital for investigation and treatment.
