Leycester House in Warwickshire, a stone’s throw from Warwick Castle and Shakespeare’s Stratford, is a purpose-built care home that offers spacious care facilities within a luxury environment.

A team of professional and skilled staff are trained in the delivery of high-quality care to all residents with a strong focus on wellbeing, and all hospitality staff are trained to hotel standards. It makes all the difference.

The pricing policy is all-inclusive at Leycester House – a single weekly fee covers all care, all facilities and all the inspired and stimulating events held in the home. This includes the bar and bistro, fine dining, outings, entertainment, and even getting your hair done.

The policy at Leycester House is to always pay team members above the National Living Wage and employ a higher than average quantity of staff, ensuring all residents' expectations are always met. The team feel valued and appreciated, and this in turn benefits the Leycester House residents.

The home features its own cinema room where residents can relax, a fully stocked bar and bistro, library, private dining room, spa, hairdressing salon and landscaped gardens.

Leycester House has a full-time events manager who organises activities and events for all residents to enjoy each week, while the home has its own chauffeur-driven, high-end vehicle for use on days out and special occasions.

Caring, kind and wonderful home - couldn’t wish for anything more in terms of Mum’s care. Mum is on the residential floor and is treated with respect and kindness even though she sometimes needs to be reminded about her P’s and Q’s.

As soon as we went through the doors of Leycester House we knew this would be the best place for our relative to be cared for, it was welcoming and felt a happy place to be.
The staff were amazing supporting our relative to maintain his independence which was very important to him. When the time came
and he needed more help, this was given with complete respect so his dignity was maintained. The care we were given and support was greatly appreciated.

My husband has dementia and has been a permanent resident at Leycester House for three months. He had several previous respite stays and was always happy to be there, afterwards enthusing fondly of the staff and the many facilities Leycester House offers. This made for a very comfortable transition
to residential care at a sad and difficult time. He settled well, is content and extremely well cared for.
The environment is professional, tempered with kindness, compassion and an ethos of hospitality - a welcoming place to both live and visit.
Consideration for my care has always been evident and I have come to appreciate their considered, knowledgeable advice.
Leycester House is a special place staffed by special people. I consider ourselves fortunate that we are able to be part of their caring, happy community.

My Dad was a resident of Leycester House for over 12 months. It is the most amazing Care Home. Not only are the facilities second to none but there are also daily activities and fabulous communal areas for residents and visitors. The ethos of the home being a part of the local community is brilliant
as it means that all are welcome to coffee mornings and events and the residents are part of the wider community. There are also regular trips out and the Thursday night entertainment is enjoyed by all - residents and visitors alike. All of that said, it is the people who make this care home extra special - you could not wish to meet a more dedicated, committed, compassionate, professional team. Each and every member of the team are brilliant - the carers, chefs, those working behind the bar, ancillary staff, receptionist, the manager and nurses (I hope that I haven't missed anyone out). Dad couldn't have been better looked after. He was really happy at Leycester House and we loved visiting him there.

My mother, a very independent woman, moved into Leycester House once it was no longer safe for her to be at home. She and all her family were made welcome and cared for. All the staff from handyman, carers, catering staff to reception staff were all approachable and happy to sit and chat.
It all made
the move for my mother so much easier.

Our mum was already booked into Leycester House for respite care when we had to ask the care home to take her earlier than booked. I was not with my mum at the time and it was all organised on the phone. Fortunately, there was a room available and our mum was taken in without any fuss. Mum would have
preferred to be in her own home however she said that everyone was very kind. Her three daughters visited her most days and all of us were so impressed with the nursing staff. (Mum was on the nursing floor). From the head nurse to the nurses and care workers, everyone was empathetic, had time for mum and time to talk to us too. The nurses kept us informed about mum and were happy to phone us if necessary. Nothing was too much trouble. When mum died it was unexpected, the care home was very thoughtful and considerate, we didn't feel rushed at all, they treated both mum and us with dignity. Thank you to the fantastic team at Leycester House.

My mother was transferred to Leycester House for end of life care and died on 26.10.2019. During the time she was there, the care, empathy and dignity shown to my mum and the family was outstanding. At all times we were kept updated and nothing was too much trouble. Mum looked cared for, comfortable
and was regularly observed by the staff. I just wish, Mum had been here longer to enjoy the other facilities offered to the elderly. I cannot thank the staff enough for Mum had a peaceful, dignified death surrounded by her family.

The team looked after mum very well. She was not too keen to stay but the care and attention from everyone helped her settle. The room was lovely. Food and choice was excellent. The team seemed to take the time to understand mum and settle her.

My brother was made very welcome immediately he arrived at the care home. He was treated with respect and sensitivity by all the staff. My mother was moved into Leycester House in May 2017 at age 100 and in not a good state of health, but in the time she was there over two years, she enjoyed a new lease of life thanks to the fantastic team of people at Leycester House and we will be forever grateful for the love and care shown to both
mum and our family by all the staff. It's not possible to name individuals because every member of the team deserves a mention but we would not hesitate to recommend Leycester House to anyone. Ten out of Ten.

My father became a resident of Leycester House after a lengthy stay in hosptial. Within a few weeks, his health and wellbeing had improved dramatically, thanks to the superb care and attention provided to him and all of our family, by the staff at Leycester House. Nothing appears to be too much trouble
for them and they understand very well, the requirements of elderly people and their wider family at difficult stages in their lives.

I am very satisfied with everything at Leycester House.
The care and support provided are of a very high quality. Any complaints and grievances are dealt with very quickly and family are informed of the outcome.
There is room for improvement on a Sunday with regard to communication with the staff.
If you arrive at 12.00 noon or after, it is difficult to get sandwiches unless pre-ordered. Staff have said "no" as they cannot provide that service.

My mum is currently at Leycester House and I am very happy with all the care and love she gets. She recently celebrated her 96th Birthday and they have provided a lovely meal for all the family. A special thanks to the chef and hospitality staff who helped at night.

As soon as you enter the foyer and bistro area you are made to feel comfortable and relaxed. The sense of space and excellent decor makes you at ease. The food is excellent and the staff are kind as well as trained. The rooms are spacious and of a very good standard. My aunt has always enjoyed her stays
here.
