The pricing policy is all-inclusive at Leycester House – a single weekly fee covers all care, all facilities and all the inspired and stimulating events held in the home. This includes the bar and bistro, fine dining, outings, entertainment, and even getting your hair done.

The policy at Leycester House is to always pay team members above the National Living Wage and employ a higher than average quantity of staff, ensuring all residents' expectations are always met. The team feel valued and appreciated, and this in turn benefits the Leycester House residents.

I can not praise Leycester House enough for the Care that they provide for my husband. The staff here are so friendly and approachable. Whether carers/nurses/ cleaning etc all the staff always have something to say to you and I feel they are almost an extended family. I never worry about my husband
as the level of care he receives is excellent and he is always washed and dressed smartly whenever we drop in. He is so well looked after and very happy which is so important to me.
The care home is beautifully laid out with well designed en-suite bedrooms with ample room for someone like my husband in a wheelchair. When we visit as well as the bistro bar there are also a number of lounges to sit in where you can just chat or play games.
All in all a lovely environment to happily leave a loved one.

My Mother had been a private resident at a nearby care home, but prices were rising sharply while food, care and condition were all deteriorating - staff were exiting too.
We found Leycester House just as it was opening late summer 2016, it is a private care home and we cannot recommend it too highly.
Its location is strange but its services and general ethos are outstanding.
It is new and fresh, with all the qualities + facilities + feel of a 4* hotel. More importantly, the quality of their staff, and consequently the depth of their care, is truly special, personal and sensitive.
In addition, there is plenty for residents to do, if they wish. Trips to the local racecourse, a nearby Safari Park, shopping etc or in-house entertainers or daily games, say Scrabble. There is great social interaction generally.
It is wonderful to find somewhere for elderly loved ones, who now need first class care, who deserve a good quality of living and who want appropriate activity and fun.

We searched several care homes before choosing Leycester House. There may be better ones in the UK but they would have to be 6 stars to beat this home.

I cannot overstate how pleased I am with the care my mother-in-law has received at Leycester House. She has moderate dementia and had been in another local care home for just over a year when we realised that they were no longer meeting her needs. The move was the best decision we ever made in the course
of her care.


The staff are comprised of genuinely warm, caring individuals, and they've gone beyond the standard level of care in so many ways. They communicate honestly in a frank way when family members have concerns and initiated talks with her physician to investigate medication changes in the hope of increasing her awareness. They included her on outings even at the stage where that was obviously exceedingly difficult for staff members. Most importantly, they've connected with her as a person, even as her dementia has progressed to a point where she is no longer responsive. We will never forget their kindness and professionalism.

My father moved to Leycester House soon after its opening, in September 2016, and I have nothing but the highest praise for the care he is receiving. His room is very comfortable, clean and light, the standard of the food is very high, but above all, the nurses/carers are truly excellent - he is treated
with kindness, respect and genuine warmth by all members of staff.
It is hugely reassuring for me to know that he is being looked after so well and that his needs are dealt with so promptly and sensitively.
We as a family are always made to feel extremely welcome, never more so than today when we celebrated his 90th birthday.

Dad could not have had any better care than he did at Leycester House. Everyone who works there is fantastic. Not only did they look after Dad but they looked after us, the family too. I would recommend Leycester House to anyone who loves and cherishes their family.

Visited in December and the whole set up of Leycester House from the ambiance, the food and drinks to the staff and residents is second to none. Everyone was so happy and cheerful which brought a smile to my face seeing such harmony in place. Entertainment for the residents was professional and of a
high standard, from talking to the residents they said they looked forward to regular events.

Having moved my aunt from a previous home I find Leycester House is an outstanding caring residential home with excellent nursing care. She is much happier and less distressed. The food is excellent with plenty of choice and visitors are made very welcome and can often be invited to stay at mealtimes.
I would highly recommend Leycester House and the facilities it offers to residents i.e. Spa room, hair dressing salon, cinema, chiropody plus a bar in the main lounge for residents and visitors. It is a pleasure to visit. A 5 star residential home.

My mother went to Leycester House as respite at first on the 8th December. I arrived from Brazil, where I reside, to find her being so well looked after. We decided to make it long term. She stayed at Leycester House until the day she passed away on 30th December. I can't only thank Leycester House
from administration/nursing/carers/cookers. Every single human being that works for them, love and care. I am truly thankful to all.

I cannot speak too highly of Leycester House. Although my relative was only resident for 2 weeks for palliative care, the care and attention both my relative and we, his family received, was second to none and nothing was too much trouble. The staff held our hands, so to speak, and led us on a very
gentle and loving journey towards my relative's end. The care and consideration shown was unbelievable. I have never seen anyone with so much personal hygiene care given in their final days. It was wonderful for us as a family to see our relative in such a good condition given his palliative status and imminent death. He was made so comfortable and we are now fortunate to be able to say that our relative had a 'good death'. Everyone should have this sort of experience, what a team they are at Leycester House, we cannot thank them enough.

Leycester House is a new purpose-built care home that is both luxuriously appointed and beautifully decorated. Whilst it provides all the state of the art facilities that one would expect of such an establishment, it is undoubtedly the staff that is the jewel in its crown. It seems that nothing is too
much for them. I recommend Leycester House without reservation.

My mother who has mild dementia and poor mobility stayed at Leycester House while I was away (I care for her usually at home). The staff from the management to the nursing staff, to the admin and reception staff and all the others who provided all the other wonderful extras, were all incredibly welcoming
when we visited to view the home and then when mum subsequently came to stay. She has clearly been looked after beautifully, had all her needs met, as well as enjoying some of the social events. I would recommend this home without reservation.

I’ve worked in the care sector for over 15 years, starting as a Carer and progressing through roles including Senior Carer, Nurse, Nurse Manager, Deputy Manager & General Manager. Each role has been incredibly rewarding.


What truly drives me is empowering teams to grow and thrive and knowing that our residents and their loved ones feel safe, happy, and genuinely cared for. I believe in building meaningful relationships based on trust, integrity, and compassion, values that are at the heart of everything I do.
