I was full of misgivings about leaving him. However, from the very start, he was warmly welcomed and made to feel safe and 'at home'. I have also felt supported and understood.
Caring staff. Light, airy, comfortable surroundings. Good food. Sensitive personal care.
Ferrars Hall has been such a great experience for us all - we will always be grateful for this superb step into the unknown.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review for Ferrars Hall. It was our pleasure to care for your husband during his stay with us and great to hear how supported you all felt. Please do come back and see us again any time.
My wife, who has dementia, has been a resident at Ferrars Hall for one year. Residents have well-furnished rooms, with appropriate en-suite facilities. The staff are most professional in all aspects of their work. They provide personalised care in a dignified, patient, caring and compassionate manner and have handled the extra pressures imposed upon them by the Covid pandemic in an exemplary manner. Health concerns are dealt with immediately and communication between the care home and myself have been of the highest order.
My wife enjoys her regular hairdressing appointments and the trimming and varnishing of her nails. There are some staff members who work diligently behind the scene – (kitchen and laundry workers), and they too deserve special praise. The food is excellent and well -presented and laundry items are clean and freshly pressed. Residents are offered a range of activities by the creative and supportive Wellbeing team. Thank you for taking such care of my loved one.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review for Ferrars Hall Care Home, we appreciate your very kind words. It is our pleasure to care for your loved one as part of our family here at Ferrars Hall.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a lovely review for Ferrars Hall Care Home. We greatly appreciate your kind words and I will pass them on to the staff team. It is our pleasure to care for your grandmother as part of our family here at Ferrars Hall.
My sister and I visited Ferrars Hall in August 21st when we were looking at care homes for our Mum. We were shown around by a team member and was very impressed with all the facilities. We found the home to be modern, with large comfortable rooms, smart, clean, tidy and well organised. The garden had chairs for the residents to sit in and enjoy the flowers and relax in the sunshine. After a reassuring and long chat with her, we both felt that Mum would be happy there. On November 21st Mum needed to go in for respite, she was made to feel very welcome and found staff caring and residents to be very friendly. We can't thank the whole team at Ferrars Hall for all the support they have shown not only to our Mum but also to me, my sister and my brother . Thank you again, you're real stars!
The staff are very helpful, my friend is very happy there and they have lots of games to keep residents busy. Very clean, bright and airy, lovely gardens with a very nice sunroom. In fact, the whole place is wonderful; I would recommend it to anyone, you are looked after very well indeed.
Thank you for your review of Ferrars Hall Care Home, we are delighted to hear how happy you are with our home and our care for your friend.
Due to a sudden change in health, we needed to find somewhere close to our Home in Brampton that could provide, initially, respite care for my Father. Ferrars Hall was so accommodating and did everything to make the sudden change for my father as smooth as possible. Everyone of the staff actually care about their residents and their families. Such was the realisation of his declining condition my father agreed to become a full-time resident at the home. The facilities, food, entertainment are superb. Each resident's room is treated as if it were their own home and they are able to have whatever they want in their room to make it feel as much like their own home as possible.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for Ferrars Hall Care Home, we appreciate all comments and feedback. We are delighted that your father has settled in so well with our Ferrars Family.
My father-in-law has been in Ferrars Hall for 6 months and we have been extremely satisfied with the care he has received. He speaks very highly of the staff and they are always friendly and welcoming to us. He has gradually gained weight and they have worked hard to improve his mental health. He chooses not to take part in the activities but, when I visit, there is always something going on! They have been stringent in following Covid guidelines and have kept their residents safe throughout. Many thanks.
Thank you for leaving a review for Ferrars Hall Care Home, we are very pleased to hear that you are happy with our care for your father-in-law. It is our pleasure to care for him as part of our Ferrars Hall family and I will pass on your kind words to our care team.
When I was confronted with making some very difficult choices regarding the future care of my wife, the staff at Ferrars Hall were very helpful, understanding and supportive, assisting me in making that decision. Most importantly, beyond that, they delivered on their promise of care. Like most visitors to Ferrars Hall, I have always been impressed by the happy atmosphere that I encounter whenever I enter. It’s no accident, it’s a happy place.
Thank you for writing a review for Ferrars Hall Care Home, we are delighted to care for your wife in our happy home as part of our Ferrars Hall family.
From my first enquiry the team at Ferrars Hall have been nothing less than professional. My relative has been treated with the utmost understanding of their needs during this most difficult of times. I have been kept fully aware of the moving in progress and it was completed swiftly and with the minimum of fuss- nothing has felt like too much trouble despite our numerous questions.
The accommodation is first class as are the facilities, with all on site services (hairdressing etc) included in the fee.
An in-house Customer Relations Advisor (much like a hotel concierge role) makes sure the transition from home to care goes smoothly and takes a lot of the stress out of the unknown, for both the new resident and relatives.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review for Ferrars Hall Care Home we appreciate all comments and feedback. It's wonderful to hear how well your relative has settled in with us and that you found moving into Ferrars Hall a smooth process. It is our pleasure to care for your loved one as part of our family here at Ferrars Hall.
Mum stayed at Ferrars Hall for emergency respite care. We called at 17:00 and she was thereby 18:00. On arrival, Mum was immobile. She absolutely loved being cared for there and has said she would definitely like to go back again for respite. The staff, accommodation and food were all excellent (she ate better than I did for 10 days). The care from the staff was absolutely exceptional and Mum said that she felt like she was in a 5-star hotel (she also loved the flower arranging activity session). I cannot thank all the staff enough for making my Mum feel safe, happy and comfortable. Mum left 10 days later - mobile again! A special thank you to the staff.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review for Ferrars Hall Care Home; we appreciate all comments and feedback. It was a pleasure to care for your mother and to see her back on her feet again. I will pass on your thanks to the staff team.
From the minute I contacted the Customer Relations Manager in an emergency situation to arrange urgent respite care for mum, I knew we were going to be in very safe hands. Everyone was so accommodating and went out of their way to make Mum's 10 day stay enjoyable for her. She came in unable to walk and left walking the length of the corridor with a gutter frame - amazing.
Thank you for your review of Ferrars Hall Care Home, we are delighted to hear that you are so pleased with your mother's progress during her stay with us. It was a pleasure to care for her as part of our Ferrars Hall family.
The team at Ferrars Hall Care Home have done a brilliant job over the past year looking after my father, keeping him safe and well. They have also been excellent at keeping us up to date with his situation, arranging Covid-safe visits when these were allowed and organising Facetimes for me with him at other times.
Thank you so much for your feedback. Please do get in touch regarding the areas where you feel we could improve? We would love to hear from you.
The care has been exemplary, personalised and genuinely caring. Communication has been good throughout lockdown, and there has been as much support as possible for residents to keep in touch with family.
Thank you for your feedback. Please do get in touch to discuss the areas in which we could improve our rating. We would love to hear some detailed feedback around food, drink and activities.
The home has been very careful to ensure that staff and residents have been protected against the virus as was humanly possible.
I know having spoken to my mother that in spite of all the difficulties she had a very enjoyable Christmas celebration.
I cannot fault the home and know that she is being well cared for.
The home is very homely and residents can make their room special to them with their own possessions like they would at home.
Ferrars Hall is nicely decorated and clean in all areas and very well maintained.
Residents in the home are happy and can join in activities if they want to or just have a nap or natter over a cuppa.
All the staff from housekeeping to management should be applauded for all their hard work over the past year keeping all the residents safe and well.
The staff are professional, but also caring and considerate. The facility is excellent. These are very difficult times, we have not been able to visit, but have received helpful, reassuring updates and feel that all care is being taken to keep residents safe. We have phoned and spoken often to Mother and she seems to be in good spirits. She is feeling a little confined, but we keep reminding her, that we also feel somewhat confined at the moment, it is the nature of the crisis and will change once the pandemic has been brought under control and outside activities can resume. We are happy that Mother is being well looked after and is being kept as safe as possible in these trying times. Our thanks to the staff at Ferrars Hall.
Ferrars Hall is an excellent care home. It is modern and very well designed. The staff are enthusiastic, friendly, caring and very professional. My mother is being given superb care and I have nothing but praise for the home and for the company that runs it.
I have always found the staff to be amazing. They are professional, patient and kind, nothing is too much trouble for them, and they treat every resident as if they were a member of their own family.
The residents are kept safe and are well cared for within a clean, stylish, well-maintained environment. They are encouraged to maintain their independence wherever possible and are treated with dignity and respect. Residents are encouraged to participate in a range of weekly activities as well as seasonal festivities and celebrations.
The staff are friendly, helpful and supportive towards residents' families and friends. There is always a warm welcome whenever you visit or contact the home and there are good systems of communication in place.
Well done Ferrars Hall, I cannot thank you enough for all the love and care you give.
It's a pleasure to have your Mum with us.
From the first enquiry, the Customer Relations Advisor went above and beyond in assisting us with every step, making the process as quick and smooth as possible with fantastic communication. Mum was greeted into a warm, happy and welcoming environment. Since moving in she has settled in quickly, enjoys the daily activities and keeps telling me how lovely the building and all of the staff are. Her complex medication regime and needs have been met from day 1, the staff listen to her and promote her independence. Visits are accommodated as best they can while complying with restrictions. We couldn’t be happier with our choice.
Due to a sudden and unexpected need to find a care home for Dad, my sister and I were faced with having to find a care home at very short notice. We very quickly selected Ferrars Hall (from a shortlist) and our experience from the outset was remarkable. From their first visit to assess Dad the day after contacting them, to the entirely professional approach, the care and kindness shown and attitude of nothing being too much trouble, the whole experience for us and more importantly Dad was first class. We couldn’t have asked for a more caring, kind and attentive team. Dad quickly settled and the family’s minds were eased. The entire team at Ferrars Hall were fantastic and we are forever grateful.
