Weald Heights is a CQC rated 'Outstanding' (June 2025) care home in Sevenoaks. The dedicated and expert team offer quality residential, nursing and dementia care on a respite or permanent basis. other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

My mother moved in mid September. The staff are all happy, smiley and very helpful. They have been very supportive with the transition and settling her into a new environment.

My father was only here for three days before he passed away. He came from another care home which did not offer nursing care. The nurses and all of the staff here were excellent, not only to my father but to the family too. They made his passing and death a peaceful affair for us all. My only regret
- not bringing him here months ago.

Having seen the treatment my wife received in her final days, I had no hesitation in asking the management to ensure a room would be available for me as soon as I needed it. No complaints about the building but few rooms get much sunshine. Staff appear to have all been recruited because of their caring,
their kindness and their courtest. One still reads of care homes having serious problems, mainly about staff/patient attitudes but no such problems could apply to Weald Heights, only to places where management is poor.

Whenever I visit my friend at Weald Heights I am always greeted warmly by the staff and made to feel very welcome. My friend is well cared for and she enjoys the activities offered, especially pampering and music. There is always a 'buzz' around the home and something to do. I would recommend Weald

Weald Heights has provided excellent care to my mother and father. My father received attentive end of life care with our family at his bedside.

I feel very lucky that a room was available for my husband when he was discharged from hospital. The staff are helpful, friendly and so very caring, not only to my husband but to me also. Our relative has been as well looked after as we could hope for. And by that, I mean in every way. The home is clean and bright, the staff are professional and the food is varied and tasty.
What I particularly like is the Care Plans attitude. It is true that this is not just a nursing home, but a
place to live.
Our relative has her own news to report at our visits. For example, she will say she has particularly enjoyed a film, a quiz, a discussion on a topic around her era, or some live music. The variety of activities is really broad and the attitude in the home lively and cheerful.
The home really welcomes visitors by providing lovely spaces outside of the residents' bedrooms to have a coffee/tea and cake and ensuring it is more like a home than a hospital.

My mother has stayed at Weald Heights on 2 occasions for respite care over the last 12 months. The staff were caring and attentive and looked after her well - spending time to get to know her and her requirements. Facilities were very good- hairdresser and chiropodist on site also help. There are
a selection of Entertainment and events available on a daily basis too. I would recommend Weald heights - it feels more like a hotel with care than a care home!

Mum and Dad stayed at Weald Heights for a couple of weeks respite care.
The home is only a couple of years old, tastefully decorated, clean and well maintained. Having had difficulty getting somewhere to take my parents in the same room, they were only too happy to oblige. Facilities were fantastic,
including a lovely cafe area where visitors can help themselves to coffee and cake, a chiropodist and hairdressers plus cinema and library. It could certainly be mistaken for a hotel!
All the staff were very friendly, helpful and respectful and clearly enjoyed their jobs. Nothing was too much trouble.
The activities team were amazing, providing a schedule of events to keep residents active and entertained. Mum especially loved the therapy dog, exercises and table tennis.
Thank you so much to all staff for looking after them both so well. It was lovely to see them on such a high from their stay at Weald Heights.

I would recommend anyone to stay here. The staff are extremely kind and helpful and there is a very happy atmosphere. The various happenings are good fun and enjoyed the table tennis the school children's visit, the dog's visit and the cheerful staff.

I was attorney of lady/former client for whom I had acted for over forty years whose previous care home could not look after her when she developed serious dementia. She was moved to Weald Heights in December and the care and respect of her personal dignity and the preparation for her passing were handled
by all staff with exceptional care. I shall always be grateful for the support which the lady received in her time at Weald Heights and for the ability and willingness of the staff to do their best to enable her to get the best quality of life there.

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2016

I’m a registered nurse by training and have worked in older people’s care for 25 years. Before joining Weald Heights in 2016, I had managed a large care home for ten years. I’ve been at Weald Heights since before it opened its doors. I’m delighted at the way my team and I have made it a home with a first-class reputation.


I believe in setting the standard, rather than following, and we take an innovative, personalised approach to resident care. When residents said they fancied learning a new language, we set up Spanish lessons and joined with a local parent and toddler group so that the generations could learn together. And when a gentleman, who is a keen musician, wanted to visit the Royal Albert Hall for his 90th birthday, we worked with his family to make it happen and to give him an unforgettable day.


I was delighted with our ‘good’ rating from the CQC, which we gained in September 2018. I’m now looking forward to continuing to work with my skilled and passionate team to go one better. Our aim now is to become an ‘outstanding’ provider of great care for older people in Sevenoaks, and across Kent and the South East of England.
