other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

Our father came for respite care and stayed 6 months.
The care in every way has been first class.
All carers and nursing staff brilliant at their jobs and very kind.
Activities have been held with amazing patience, good humour and vigour.
Food great - my father said quality consistently good and
portion size good.
Cleanliness is excellent.
Overall we could not be more pleased and are extremely grateful.
Only comment - be good to be able to have a double bed.

I came to Weald Heights whilst my husband went skiing.
It's a very pleasant place and has all the facilities one can need.
My stay here has been very pleasant; I go home later today but will be coming back in early March for a brief stay which I shall look forward to.

Just prior to Christmas 2018 I was admitted to A & E because of an infection which involved a hospital stay.
My husband has dementia and the family found placing him here was a very easy transition and his respite care has been excellent.
He has been settled and happy and the relief has been immense.

It is a year since mum came to Weald Heights and I am so pleased with how quickly she has settled in and was welcomed.
I now have no worries about her as I was very unsure about her going into a care home.
The staff treat everyone with respect and kindness and are always available.
There has been
nothing that is too much trouble, I cannot praise them highly enough.
The range of activities is excellent, many of which I have enjoyed.
I am so pleased we chose Weald Heights, it is excellent.

An extremely well run care home with very friendly, professional staff.
The location is good and the rooms are all well furnished and spotlessly clean.
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, and my wife, who was initially rather troubled by coming in for respite care, settled down very quickly
and within days was joining in activities and rapidly relaxing and enjoying herself.
I have her booked in for a further two weeks in March and she is looking forward to this.
I would certainly recommend Weald Heights Care home to anyone.

I am so very grateful for the excellent quality in Weald Heights' provision of care. Right from our initial contact with staff, they did all they could to support and help us through a very difficult time. The extent of staff training, particularly in dementia care, was reflected in the high standard
consistently present in my mother’s care and a reassuring depth of understanding of her reality. My mother was treated with dignity and respect, with compassion and gentleness. There was graciousness and patience in communication with her and a desire for her well-being shown by all the staff we met. We were impressed with the high standards of cleanliness, safety, food provision and the activities laid on. We spent time in the dementia suite day room with other residents and witnessed the excellent overall attitude of staff and particularly their desire to be looking after and opting into caring for people affected by dementia, however these residents were struggling.

Mum arrived in Weald Heights in September 2018 with vascular dementia and needing more care than we could provide at home. From the moment she arrived we all felt at home, all the staff were friendly, attentive and caring. Mum was cared for with the utmost respect and attention to detail, but more than
that - as a family we were welcomed into Weald Heights and always greeted with a smile and given personal and specific updates on Mum.


Mum passed away in Weald Heights and again the care and attention shown towards her and us at the end were exemplary. The staff made what was an extremely difficult and emotional experience much easier with their constant care and presence.


I cannot recommend Weald Heights enough. Thank you to all the staff there, you were amazing and we all appreciate everything you did for Mum and us.

My mother has been at Weald Heights for convalescence and respite care and it has proved to be invaluable. She is much stronger now following two nasty infections and hospital admittances. She is now mobile and more able to cope on a daily basis. She still has a couple of weeks to go and I am sure with
the care and attention she receives at Weald Heights she will recover even more. We would have no trouble in recommending Weald Heights Care Home.

My wife has spent a fortnight at Weald Heights after a stay in hospital convalescing after a fall.


The ambience of the home is that of a luxury hotel. The staff are attentive and extremely kind. The catering is excellent with varied menus and appetising food. There is a good range of activities which

are all fun and purposeful as well. One could not wish for a better convalescent experience.


My wife has benefited enormously and visiting has been most enjoyable because one is always so warmly welcomed.

From our experience in the last couple of months, this is a very well managed care home. All of our experiences with dealing with all staff from management at the outset to carers on a more regular basis have been excellent so far. All the staff appear to be happy to be there and the carers genuinely

My mother-in-law with Alzheimers became a resident at Weald Heights 8 months ago. We had previously searched a number of other care homes but none even came close to the standards of Weald Heights. The care home is relatively new and the staff, amenities and activities for the residents are all excellent.
There is a warmth and friendliness which pervades the entire Home and the residents are treated with dignity and respect. I have no criticisms and would highly recommend Weald Heights.

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2016

I’m a registered nurse by training and have worked in older people’s care for 25 years. Before joining Weald Heights in 2016, I had managed a large care home for ten years. I’ve been at Weald Heights since before it opened its doors. I’m delighted at the way my team and I have made it a home with a first-class reputation.


I believe in setting the standard, rather than following, and we take an innovative, personalised approach to resident care. When residents said they fancied learning a new language, we set up Spanish lessons and joined with a local parent and toddler group so that the generations could learn together. And when a gentleman, who is a keen musician, wanted to visit the Royal Albert Hall for his 90th birthday, we worked with his family to make it happen and to give him an unforgettable day.


I was delighted with our ‘good’ rating from the CQC, which we gained in September 2018. I’m now looking forward to continuing to work with my skilled and passionate team to go one better. Our aim now is to become an ‘outstanding’ provider of great care for older people in Sevenoaks, and across Kent and the South East of England.
