This care home is just lovely. Every need that anyone living here could want and know they will be looked after very well. Beautiful, well equipped rooms - hairdressers, cafe (where you can help yourself), nice garden with a gazebo. The staff we came across were all really nice, polite and very helpful.

Overall Experience

The whole family are really impressed with this newly opened care home. Activities aren't limited to the activities coordinator playing games/singing songs. All staff are encouraged to be involved. My Mother in law, who has Alzheimer's disease, loves to help the housekeepers and carers; she likes to do 'normal things' e.g. fold socks, empty the dishwasher, lay the table, help in the garden. Of course, she also enjoys playing games, singing, dancing. This care home does all these things for her. She started visiting as daycare and is now in ongoing respite which will probably be permanent. She is so happy there. Any minor teething problems were dealt with quickly and not ignored. We couldn't be happier.

“I've always been interested in work that involves helping others and making a positive impact. I enjoy being an active member of my community and helping people. Matt also takes pride in the recognition that OSJCT gives to himself and his colleagues at their annual Trust Recognition Awards. “The Trust Recognition Awards in 2022 was a particularly proud moment for me. We had four team members who received nominations with 3 eventual winners and 1 runner-up.”
