The staff bring joy and laughter to those who have made Oak Manor their home. There is always an activity or someone to chat to laugh with enjoy knitting and nattering, singing or craft, dancing or praying. The spiritual life of each resident is central to many of the activities including songs of praise
and Bible study. My mother-in-law is very happy there and loves the home-cooked food. Relatives can join for meals in the very smart dining room or sit and chat over a hot chocolate in the coffee lounge downstairs. Local pubs, restaurants and garden centres are a sure favourite for a trip out any time you visit. The chaplains and volunteers are very special people and add an extra touch of care to a wonderful happy home.

The staff are super friendly. They are so caring to my mum. My mum feels she has a new family with both staff and residents. The premises are clean, tidy and modern. There are always refreshments available and the place is warm and inviting. Nothing is too much trouble. My mum has all the care she needs
and could possibly ask for. Thank you so much Oak Manor a lovely home for my mum.

I can’t thank the staff team enough for the welcome and care they are giving to my mother-in-law. Oak Manor is a wonderful care home and the staff team make the residents feel they are part of a big family. They have done everything they can to make her feel at home and to settle in. Her room is cosy
and well equipped and the communal areas very homely. The activities are of an excellent quality and there is so much fun and laughter around the place. Having a church service every Sunday and other times during the week to focus on spiritual things is a huge support for my relative. Thank you Oak Manor Team.

My wife is a new resident at Oak Manor and I cannot praise too highly the environment, facilities and most of all, the excellent caring staff. Without exception, all have shown empathy and kindness above and beyond my expectations. Settling in has been difficult for my wife but the encouragement and
understanding shown has made it an easier passage. I have visited a number of care homes of variable quality but would have no hesitation in recommending Oak Manor at all.

We could not recommend Oak Manor more highly. The care and friendliness shown to our great uncle over the past 4 years was amazing. Sadly he passed in February but the care and dignity shown was just outstanding. The kindness shown to us, the family, was priceless. He was so calm and peaceful at such

To all the staff at Oak Manor, thank you so much for all your hard work on Saturday in preparing for Mum’s 90th party.
The party was a huge success, and all went perfectly. All the guests were very complimentary about the organisation and the buffet, especially the birthday cake and the cupcakes!
Mum
had the best time, meeting relatives and friends, many of whom she had not seen for a long time.
So, once again, thanks for everything – it could not have been better!

Fantastic care for my mother over the last few weeks as she has been unwell recovering from COVID. They have been great trying to get her to back to her old self. It's been great to be able to go into the home and sit with her in the café. The staff are absolutely fantastic and go the extra mile to
make sure the residents are well looked after. They are always happy, cheerful and caring. There's a great atmosphere in the home. So glad we were able to get her in here. Love it.

My mother has been a resident for a year. I have found all the staff caring and welcoming when we visit or when others from further away come to see her.
Mum has mixed dementia but always knows her family, although she may not remember when she is or who has visited; a testament to the care she is
given is the fact that she is happy to stay and leaving her is not a problem. I would thank all staff for the care they have shown.

My dad moved in yesterday, which was a huge day for him, my mum and our family. His room is spacious and beautifully presented, lunch was delicious (I stayed yesterday), but most importantly, every member of staff from management down was incredible. Friendly, welcoming, kind, understanding, patient,

We could not wish for our mother to be in a better home. The staff and leadership are first class. Nothing is too much bother, be it day-to-day care or special requests; it is all done with attention to detail, professionalism, and more importantly, with a smile and good humour. The home is kept spotless,
and my mum's room is a real "home-from-home"; she could not be happier. My mother has had a new lease of life, which we put down to the love and attention of the staff. First class.

Having gone through the awful period of Covid restrictions which the home coped with admirably well, we are now in a period of normality with minimum restrictions. Every visit is now much more enjoyable, and the staff are more relaxed and positive. The home is always kept clean, and the atmosphere is
pleasing.
My mother is very happy staying there and even happier when I take her out for a car ride without restriction. Medical staff are always up to date with the mother's care issues, and I get updates and reviews periodically. I cannot fault the home for what it is achieving with its residents, and long may it continue.

My mother has been a resident at Oak Manor for two and a half years. I moved my mother from temporary residential care, which was for a period of two weeks. I was so upset with the care my mother was receiving and was so excited for her to be able to move into Oak Manor. The care my mother receives
from every member of staff is excellent. The staff are so caring, the standard of care is amazing, and they go that extra mile for the residents. The bedrooms are comfortable and provide everything my mother could want. The standard of decoration and cleanliness across the home is very good, and the meals supplied are varied and cooked within the home.
I couldn't be more happy and confident my mother's needs are being met.

Since my father moved into Oak Manor, I feel like I have my dad back again. He is happy and content, putting on weight and engaging with the carers and residents. At 4:15am on a Sunday morning Mum returned to the home after a visit to A & E. Three outstanding carers worked together with a wheelchair, taking notes from the hospital and outstanding support for Mum, the team was truly amazing.

Fantastic care home, the staff and facilities are wonderful. The home is spotless, clean and tidy at all times. Always looks like it's been freshly decorated. It's so bright, cheerful and welcoming. The carers do an amazing job, my mum has dementia and is very difficult to deal with sometimes, but they
are so good with her. There are activities every day to help keep her amused. Definitely, a lovely place for her to finish her life.

The building and rooms are spotless. The staff are kind and very considerate and always have time to speak to us. They are always in close contact with us on all medical and personal issues. We can always get through on the phone which is important to us, particularly during the pandemic.
