My aunt stayed for a week's respite care. Her stay was excellent. She was very happy with everything but the food, which she said was cold. Staff were very friendly and we were so impressed that she is booking in for a stay later in the year.

I have been surprised and pleased by how well my mother-in-law has been since she moved into Montpellier Manor. She has been treated with dignity and respect since she moved in in November 2019, but the care and companionship of staff and residents has improved her quality of life beyond all my expectations
- I cannot praise the staff enough. As a visitor, I feel welcome and am never treated with anything other than complete respect and friendliness. I could not have imagined a better home for my mother-in-law at this stage in her life.

Montpellier Manor, I found to be first-class, having worked in most care homes in the area as a flooring expert, this home must be one of the best and in a great location with good parking and easy access.

My mum has been in Montpellier Manor for 14 months. The staff uniformly treat her like family. Now she is coming to the end of her life I was concerned she may have needed to be moved to a nursing facility. The manageress of Montpellier Manor reassured me in her words 'whatever your mum needs we will
provide'. They have also supported our family.
If I could, I would give them so much more than 10 out of 10.

Mum has been a resident for 15 months and we are so grateful she got to live in Montpellier Manor. Mum became terminally ill very quickly and the staff have all been wonderful, their care has been very compassionate and nothing was too much trouble for them. Not only have they looked after mum so well,
they have supported the family through this difficult time too. A massive thank you to MHA for creative such caring homes.

My father has dementia and moved into Montpellier Manor last month. He has a spacious ensuite room and really enjoys the food and variety of activities (including weekly music therapy). He also enjoys meeting residents from different floors in the Garden Cafe area, which provides a lovely space for
residents and their visitors to relax and socialise. He is looking forward to using and helping with the beautiful gardens in the Spring. All the staff are kind and patient with him. The chaplaincy is a great asset to the home and has played a big part in helping us both feel welcome. We visited several other homes before choosing this one which, in my opinion, is exceptionally good.

Apart from the first week, when we could not access the home due to the norovirus, everything as been excellent. The staff are absolutely fantastic, hardworking and very caring, nothing is too much trouble. They deserve much more credit than they get.

My mother was in the care home for just a month before she died in December. During her time there she was treated with care, dignity and respect. They cared for her until the end in a respectful and professional manner, always respecting her needs. Staff were professional and caring towards family
members also.

The facilities are very good. The home is always kept very clean and tidy. The staff are helpful and friendly and a lot of thought has gone into individual care. The staff at the home take individual needs very seriously. The entertainment each day is fun and social. The meals are good variety and excellent

My mum was happy and seemed relaxed and very well cared for by the staff. Mum is fiercely independent with her dementia and loves to be outdoors. The staff respected this, took her out and were kind, caring and compassionate with her. She looked much better for her stay and quickly transitioned back
into her home with no anxiety which indicates how well the staff cared for her physical and mental wellbeing. Delighted with how happy she was.

This was the first time my mum has had to experience residential care. She and I were made to feel welcome, comfortable and confident with every aspect of our experience at Montpellier Manor. From the setting, the rooms, the staff, the attention to detail in all areas we were extremely impressed. The
management team, the kitchen team, the carers all work together to ensure every point of my mum's stay was personal to her. I couldn't be more grateful and confident to the home and team and would fully recommend for other loved ones. We will be using this home again.

My husband has mild dementia and has been a resident since November 2018 and I joined him in December 2018. We chose this MHA home because we have been active Methodists for many years. A trial stay in August 2018 had convinced us we could make this our home.
We joined in the activities as much as
possible. It was a great disappointment that the activities co-ordinator left 24/5/19 and the chaplain in June 2019. Replacements have not yet taken place.
Positions have obviously been advertised and interviews have taken place.
Monthly meetings with the manager are greatly appreciated. Menus provide frequent comment - some food is very appealing, some not and it is distressing to see so much food binned, considering the high fees we pay.

We have also set up a monthly Food Committee to allow residents choice and input in setting up and monitoring the menus.

The review was held in a separate office which allowed us to discuss things openly. The discussion was very detailed and professional. The high level of care and concern for my mother was apparent. I have no concerns for her care at Montpellier Manor. The cleanliness is excellent throughout the building.

The standard of care given to my mother is excellent. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. They are very approachable, friendly and caring. The home itself is fabulous and more like a hotel than a residential home. I feel my mother is in a 'good' place and in good capable hands.

The potential woes associated with relocating any loved one into care is daunting. This was quickly removed by the manner the manager and staff run and operate Montpellier Manor as decorated bricks and mortar is fantastic but it would be nothing without its amazing staff and the warm, caring atmosphere
they create whilst looking after those people we love.

My mother was a resident at Montpellier. The caring staff have been absolutely wonderful, looking after my mother’s needs. It’s a welcoming place, with everyone providing a first class service. It really stands out from the rest, not just because of the fabulous decor, and resident rooms, but for all
it does for each and every one of the residents. Food is to a high standard. There is always a variety of activities, with everyone (including family) encouraged to join in.
During the year, my mother deteriorated, to the point that she was transferred to the dementia floor, and what a wonderful place it is!
We cannot express how much the carers dedicate to everyone. We are in awe of their patience, kindness and professionalism.
Thanks to the manager for being so understanding and supportive, she has really been there for us, throughout this very difficult time.
Sadly my mother passed away, but we were blessed to be part of such a loving and inspirational home.

My brother was resident in Montpellier Manor from June 2018 to April 2019.
He was extremely happy and well looked after. Unfortunately, my brother was very will and in and out of hospital from Jan 19 to Apr 19. The end result was for him to transfer to a home which provided nursing. During this difficult
period, the support provided by Montpellier Manor was excellent. Our experience with this home has been a very happy one.
